I don’t usually bother to comment in wvw topics, but this double teaming isn’t fully true, been playing in EB every day since the start. Main problem is that we can’t do anything to Vizunah alone, when we try to takes something theirs, they wipe us. Over and over again.
H3ll just last night we tried for hour or so, tried to give SFR a hint that they would do same from other side, just for a change. What SFR did?
Took our Anza and Mendons, we gave up and waited to Vizunah start to focus SFR again, while tooking anza and mendons back.
Then we watched you two fighting near klovan and attacked WC.
We simply can’t attack Vizunah for 2 reasons, we can’t manage alone and SFR punishes us every single time while we’re at it.
We simply do only thing you both offer to us, we help ourselves by using vizunah, while they use Piken to help themselves.

My friend you lost it. Last night around 23:00 GMT PS flipped Durios, finally, some details of the battle to you. We took T3 QL, and moved to Durios, we spotted PS in the door and make a retreat (some 20 or 25 not in TS moved to you, and died, XRKUN did you survived?), we waited for VS zerg and fought them so they can’t reach Durios, and you made it, glorious?

We stayed in VS side taking siege from their keep down, and starting attacking Langor, that will give you the opportunity to move to Bravos, then the shout came “PS zerg at WC”, we run but it was too late, it was lost, no worries or “perfect” like my friend Kresh likes to say, move fast to Klovan, VS zerg there.

We know that you really bad in EB map, do whatever you like, we are having lots of fun. Last night we got the map flipped again, but when I go in, I don’t see any kind of rage, having fun it’s the real thing we try to achieve, at least that’s the watt the core players of the map want, the goal ofc it’s to win.
We need to do better next time.
Like I have said this kind of game only makes us stronger.

Yes it probably did take huge organisation tell all players not to attack viz. Viz would win even without double teaming because of national server buff, but piken would lose so badly.

I see lot of thinks about national server and all. And I don’t understand why there is only 1 in top 3. If it’s so easy when u are national, should be only BB, Kodash and all but no SFR or PS

Brief resume: VS as the normal behavior, Piken don’t.

Just to remind you I’m in TS so if you need to talk I’m there, I’m sure you have the balls to do that, you also know how to contact the others in the game. You didn’t notice we are losing our entire map? Let me tell you that you really need to focus a little bit.

Teaching a guy that spends months in WWW watt is the difference between 2v1 and the opportunity of attacking the other opponent is sad. Look inside your guild, you have their my dear friend Hjerim, one of the best commander I had ever met in this game, but he is still one humble guy, just follow. My last advice is; when you want to change something do it from inside, I had done it, and I’m still doing it, when I was in the minority, people respect my opinions, and I was and I’m a simple PUG, and at the time I don’t even had the commander tag.

THE BIG 2v1 FAIL IN LOW LANDS
The fight in EB was really epic I entered the map with VZ and PS blobs inside Lowlands, they tried everything, VS defending the door, so we can’t get in, and PS inside, and they didn’t make it, fights like this only make us stronger, 2v1 also, it’s a dishonorable way to play, that players that love the game really hate. One guy reported VS and PS for 2v1, this its true? Good luck mate.:)

I had spotted you when you started to come to forums talking about the way we are stacking, and the recruiting, that we are making one invincible army, you are not so smart was you think you are, you simply more powerful them me. Our server did one well of work integrating the new people that transfer, we can see that in EB map today, the main problem is that guys end to go to EB, our border lands sometime have queue, but the commander only can get 30 or 40 around, because the grinders from our server go there. We really need to motivate all the WWW players to go to BL to, that’s the next step, we are not worried the league will not stop in season 1, we have work to do, good for us.

Where did you get those stats? At the same site?
Did you forget VS corner? How many times did PS took Durios? And QL? During the 28 h I was on during the weekend I can remember a single one from QL, I’m curious about Durios.

The stats in percentage reflect watt have happened, we attacked and flipped Anza and Mendon on PS side, and QL in VS side, that’s why the stats are higher to PS side.
Your stats are very interesting also because they show the incompetence from PS, for instance you only took WC for 6 times, and the times you took Klovan are mainly because VS are attacking Jerrifer with 10/12 golems. Yes PS is really bad, we know, VS know, your stats just show it. @AnrewSX stats just put the 2v1 in %.

It’s true guys, we did a great job at EB, we must be very proud.

To all forum warriors please don’t mess up with Kresh, he is a great guy and commander, he tries his best to integrate people, and I see that are people informed about the messages he uses in chat, you just forget to tell he uses different colors in the chat message, the things that people from other servers know about our chat, I’m sure they know a lot about our TS to. Log on to TS, see who is in, and who is commanding, stay there (it’s fun for me, I’m a little crazy, yes), I was happy with the people I see on.
That’s watt I have done on Friday, waited 3 h to get in, after 5 m I got DC, I waited another 1 h, and got another DC…and I had to go sleep.

You guys are still working in yours servers to improve, or you just give up and transfer to VS? Elona still can do a 2v1 in an upcoming week, Deso guys, sorry but you can’t in this league.

You are one of the guys “guilty” of our good performance during the weekend, as commander and as a player, but just remember that even you at some point dropped your arms, and said it’s impossible to command like this, tag off, and that worked fine, from that point people started to follow commanders. I’m not going to say if I agree or disagree with your comments, I just suggest that maybe this is not the best place to discuss this.

A bunch of things that we should know, but we SFR chose to ignore:
- The queue will be huge, like skill lag and blobs;
- We will not have in the maps the players we want;
- The “attack” from grinders or transfers will affect our performance (our players from SFR are the worst part of this, because they don’t have any idea of watt is WWW);
- Rage quit will not help anyone in this battle;
- PS will double team us in any match, they have done it in the past all time we met them.

Before the league start we notice in EB map, the presence of the new players, the queue was very big, every time, and I’m going to say this for the first time, many times very early in the night was from EB that come the help to BL’s, people jump to other maps to help, and we get the leftovers and had to play with them.

On the weekend I have played more than 28 h in EB map, during that time, we had during much time our entire map with T3 towers, and one or two paper towers in the enemy land, because we had generally a good strategy, and because PS and VS still fight for SM, we took that opportunity to have good scores.

To all our brave commanders and players in EB I want to say that I’m very proud off all of you, and ofc to our dear scouts, including the new ones, thank you so much. To all players that still resist in our BL, keep fighting, we are SFR (sorry my dear friend Kresh but I couldn’t not help you last night, we had them at Klovan an WC at the same time).

Please read my first post in this match where I say that RS or JS don’t have a chance to win this match, but that don’t mean that they are bad, and every day I play I have seen that.

Last night we did 4 consecutive attempts to take RS keep in EB, only toke it in the last one, because you have a very good defense, and that includes the ton of siege, is there to use …and to take down. No complains about the siege only the bad players do that. That was a great fight, my respect to all RS players that defend their keep.

Basically you complain about everything. I’m a little confused here. Do you pick your commander with your specs and try to find some 1vs1? Or you take another char/or the commander with 1vs1 specs and try to run around and get some 1vs1? Don’t you see something strange here?

Maybe you are a PvE commander arrived now to WWW and don’t understand that the majority of the players don’t run builds to 1vs1, so they will try to escape from 1vs1.

Don’t be worried. You just need to understand, that sometimes we need to play hard with some people, because they want to spoil our fun. Don’t be offended when you are in TS, try to listen and learn, because with 3 weeks in WWW, it’s impossible to know everything.

We just need to be smart in the league, and we will achieve our goal. If we don’t have 1st liners, a bunch of people that don’t follow orders and lots of upscale, we simple can’t do open fields battles, or try to get hard objectives. We have to play different, that will be very sad for us.

We need everyone with experience to help in EB, which includes also WT. Please stay away from EB now, or you die from heart attack Some of the coolest commanders had lost their temper, and I feel sympathy for them. But we will fight.

The situation it’s really serious, this will burn out commanders and regular players, and I’m not sure that when league starts BL’s will not invaded by these guys that only want to grab their prize.

We are trying the best we can, but it’s really hard when people don’t care. The real enemy now is inside, I saw this coming. Many thanks to Anet, you guys this time didn’t make free transfers; you just lowered the prices to transfers.

Let me share a funny story with you. Sunday afternoon, 2 h to get inside EB, when I arrived a feminine voice commanding, not Blue. We got wip, after wip, the only thing she says is “Hammer stun on me!”, and another wip. After several wips, the crying started, we don’t have players, their blob it’s huge, of course we don’t have players, we aren’t crazy, we tried to stay away from her, I started scouting and building siege. When she left, the next commander as done a profession check, “Hammer war in TS go left!”. Surprise we have one…

There is a lesson for us here. We can control a little the commander quality, but we can’t control the general quality of the players. For me this game as to be fun, that means win, playing the game better than the opponents, when people think that fun it’s equal to farm, we have 2 problems, lack of respect for others, and not getting the points to win.

You are welcomed to EB map, PUG’s or Guilds, with our coverage there he should have be capable of fight you in any circumstances, we have queue for that map almost all the time.

To the players or commanders not new in SFR server, but new in the EB map, please refrain your comments about EB, you simply don’t know the reality. My advice it’s to improve your playing quality, our you find yourself with only a few players next to you. It’s ridiculous but after so many times making campaign for people to use TS, now I’m not using it because I refuse to ear bad commanding, or unfair comments.

The true it’s now we don’t see a commander like Hjerim (one off the best commanding, the best to teach players and new commanders) commanding in EB, or using the community TS.

SFR is actually not beatable. Piken got many new players and is pretty strong now to get at least on #2, that should be their goal. Vizunah is still strong as always. Riverside got some new players and improved coverage.

So, being from RS and playing a matchup RS/PS/VS would be pretty great.

VS its the second now, but they also can win the league. I think Riverside it’s more consistent then Piken. That explain my prediction. I also think that some people from Elona will go RS, I hope good people.

OMG. Can you check de EU ladder? Watt has you seen? In the 10 first places only 2 international servers (but we are 13 in 27)!!! National servers have it all to be a success. It’s a sea of difficulties, but also a sea of opportunities for the international servers, SFR tries to maximize the opportunities, and fight the difficulties.

When we got attacked by Anet, with the free transfers, many players and guilds had a very bad attitude, lucky for us they left, and I hope they never come back, because they are losers that can’t fight adversity.

I get blobed by those losers many times, but never give up, and I don’t belong to any WWW guild, I got banned from TS, put on ignore by many, but I’m using the meta build for life, don’t give up when you know you are right.

But the work is never done, until I don’t see scouts in every tower, random that go and flip camps, commanders that don’t forget to siege our towers, YES T0 NEED SIEGE TO, BECAUSE THEY ARE T0 AND VERY EASY TO TAKE.

and there are alot possible debuffs like: mapplayer limit (the best), -%karma EXP Gold loot, no progress in archievments cause nothing glorious done, – stats, -% damage vs gates/walls, +dmg taken from siege, Dolyaks move % slower, Camps give lower Supllys …… and so on

there is a lot and it would be much more usefull than mf for the outmanned

just for the record, we are actually fighting for SFR and not drain supplies or anything like that. but we also play for the fun and dont take any success in a videogame as reason to actually think being superior to any other player on another server. the nolife self-proclaimed “core community”, which is a minority to free guilds and pugs but strong in numbers on the forums unfortunately gives all SFR players that reputation. [noTS] – best GW2 commanders

Hi XKRUN,
I never saw you commanding in EB, and as many know I “live” there. I only know one commander that can achieve something not using TS, and we can only have any success if we get week opponents.
I’m sad when I see one guy that thinks he can command in T1 with no TS, and he is in my server. If you want a guy with personal views, you can look at me, everyone knows that sometime I disagree with the decisions, and I public state my personal view, and didn’t not follow some of them, despise of this I still feel respected. Please try to make your comments inside our community.

I think the best for you is to follow the advice I gave to Troma in the recruitment thread “Shut up please”.

PS: I’m not saying I agree, or not agree with this measure. I hope you don’t get offend by the shut up, at least I know Troma didn’t, because he public said, he did the same to Kingface.

Let me just throw out here that [CoN] and [GD] have had their differences but there has always been a significant amount of mutual respect, and when it comes to [CoN] as a whole there still is. Last night the Piken blob was allways inside SM ,they “guess” we are comming, no socouts, we had checked. Night before was QL, hole zerg inside waiting for us. You “guess” a lot. It’s a chame. Hour victory will be more sweet.

So the big fight now is between VS and Piken for the 2nd EU place.

To all new players in SFR please read watt Troma says. This is the true VZ. Be prepared, the league will be a complete different game. Only the points will mater.

Last not least, don’t underestimate other EU servers, and of course American servers if we have to play with them.

Please if you are not a regular player of WWW, maybe the league is not the best time to try it, just remember that maybe you are in the queue or in the map, just taking space.

but the “just” make all the difference: Canadian doesnt want to come (a warning msg on a QC guild: We do not care of french guilds e-dramas) because before Vizunah french guilds were divided a lot more, and had many dramas. I understand them.

Then the other speaking french guys are swiss, belgian etc, but same timezone. Understand i find good that SFR is strong, as a WvW focused euro server. What i find insane is that you continue to make them come, again and again, and thoses numbers are made to counter imaginary canadians. Or just to win. But stacking too much people to create a serv like JQ for example is just so overkill. It will just make us sleep less… and imbalance.

If it’s too easy for you and too hard for every others servers, the league will be ridiculous to play. My last hope is that new players come to help us, and Vizunians wake up, because yeah it’s not good ingame atm.

@ Troma I understand watt you are saying but we have been there. It was very hard to tell to people to keep upgrading and scouting when they say “Why? Latter VZ will come and will take our towers.” I always told to them that we suppose to play the better we can wen we are in the map, latter if we don’t have anyone to defend, and our towers will fall, it’s not our fault, we did the best we can.

This was the main reason I opposed so much to the “Let’s play for fun not for points” or “Let’s go down tier”, because people understand this like we should not defend anything, and making a really bad example to the players.

The true is that we can play for points and having fun at the same time. If the others have better players or coverage, and get more points, it will be fun also, because we have done our best.

This is not me talking when we are wining; this is me talking when we are losing in the past also.

I don’t understand why you are blaming people to make SFR stronger. You say you try to recruit people to make VS stronger. My prediction is that when the league start the queue will become horrible, I hope the players on my side remember watt is good play, and have fun, because having fun is watt make people come again and again.

SFR can to have, Russians, Germans, French, Portuguese, Italian, Belgians, Dutch, etc. We are international server, so we supose to have many countryes.

Queue is almost non-existent on Vizu. Barely 15 mins for the BLs during prime.

In our maps don’t going to be the players/guilds that we want. This will be the time where we are going to see if our work pays off.

I’m very happy with the average quality of the players I see in EB map when I play, but I get worried when Wemil says we have problems in the morning. I really don’t know how is going to be in the BL’s, because if we need numbers, then we need pug’s there to.

T1 servers don’t blob, we have a large number of skilled players at the same time, at the same place.
T1 servers don’t PvD, we do PvDD, play against dangerous doors.
We may have 4 or 5 russians, but we don’t have canadians.

About whining I don’t remember havingseen a single MMO where forums are not
mostly dedicated to that.

WvW is much about numbers of players on each side, yes sometimes skills in structured groups help, a top guild raid is definitively able to wipe bandwagons, but globally you own server rank is mostly due to the time coverage it is able to provide.

SFR now to me looks like VS several months ago : huge zergs against less active servers, I have a bit the feeling atm that SFR now is playing like VS before. VS is less active, because we are bored (very even) of GW2, and since we are a national server we have a smaller playerbase than an international one and so we are more impacted by GW2 progressively going down.

you understand that we raid 2-3 guilds on prime time not like VZ yes we have some very big guilds our russians run crazy numbers…
And through the day we have 1-2 big groups defending. Or you want us to lose our keeps because no guild raids ? some of us work and have real life you know?!
And we win because we play better the only map that have problems is eb but eb is the pug heaven anyway…..
And 1 more thing most of our guilds are even slacking we are keeping it for the league.. .. The you will see power mate honestly….If we can beat you without putting everything on the table imagine when we go serious.
I will tell you this SFR want to win the league and it is not a secret even.

Come on mate don’t be unfair with EB, no one of the commanders that usually plays the map have complains about the players in the map, of course isn’t like having a guild, but the behavior and the results are very good.

I know that sometimes you had problems, people get offend by your direct stile, I know and respect you, but some people don’t understand. I don’t understand also why people can’t do simple tasks, but you have to be patient.

Once again we are doing our contribution for the server score; we started having WP in SM during many hours. On Sunday we got a lot of pressure from VS side, but we keep delivering points, I’m very proud of our dedicated players.

Last night great fights on EB map, we had one real 1v1 between us and VS. Yes VS is very different now, the old VS spirit, they don’t give up, but they don’t run from fights, we never did, and now my beloved map is very different from the old days, we had improved our quality and now it’s very hard for anyone to play there (still have some week points to improve).

It was very well played in terms of points by VS side, and very well played in terms of battles by us.

Nice fights with Kodash also, they made some strategic errors, but I think that is normal. They are going up in the rank and they deserve it.

Well the pug problem and queue with few on teamspeak is pretty much a direct result of the last few weeks – if you take it easy for a couple weeks new players come and try it out in their small guilds. After a while they have formed their own ts, speak their own language and just ignore the bleating in chat about getting on the server ts as they can’t understand any of it anyway.

The ‘no tags in BL, they are for guild raids, etc’ has also encouraged the formation of a lot of solo roamers, new players, people levelling alts in wvw, as well as farming emp frags, and smaller teams wondering around the map. The funniest was when they announced ‘the community’ had decided that there should be no tags in EB for a couple days- see how well that turned out…

The problem is that the ‘leet’ guilds seem to think all these people are a problem, and spend their time insulting them or saying they need to get rid of them, rather than seeing them as potential additions.

People like someone to follow- if no one tags up the pugs don’t leave, they just become less effective as they will go do their own thing or even stand around (Teq style- stand around for a couple hours doing something else) waiting for a tag to appear, but not wanting to relog in case there is a queue to get back in.

Now people need to realise that these people need integrating into the system (even if some can’t get on ts) and be properly utilised. That’s if the consensus is that we should be playing the points game in the league a little more than at present.

If I see some uplevelled newbie running around obviously using a bad skill set/weapon set/bad positioning I’ll take a few seconds or minutes and whisper them with a few suggestions if they are willing to listen- not insist they join the server ts or gtfo.

Everyone was new once- try reaching out and embracing them rather than shunning them.

Victory you did it again, great post and deserve that I break my promise. There is a lot more to say, I just put it in one phrase. ”Play the game first, and then try to give orders to others”. No tag policy was very effective, we run with 6 tags at the same time on first day, far from our record of 14.

I’m getting every day more proud of our players in EB map.

Many thanks to the VS and Riverside players that had visited EB map, I recall a fight where FF guild from VS was, great fight. Many thanks to all of you because you are a real challenge and that make us grow.

We are going to win this one, but next week if we get VS again they also can win, this was a bad week that not reflects the quality of their server.

PS: And yes Wemil is correct wen he says that we are dying slowly some hours, a good subject for a server meeting (try to do the next not in prime time, because many of us can’t be there, wen I’m not, Shadow or Kresh can be my voice).

No Wemil I really don’t, I’m still your friend, and respect your work, you can see it in some of my posts in the past when I try to defend you (I know the real Wemil).

I didn’t mentioned you like I didn’t mentioned Hjerim, Kresh, Handarand or other commanders that usually play when I play. I had mentioned Shadow because, he is a funny guy, like Wicky, and as you know he loves our server above all, a good example for all of us.

At last but not least, you make me broke my promise; I did it because I think you deserve it.

My first and last post during this match, better use this for some thoughts, facts and questions.

It’s normal that the number 1 EU server don’t have queue in prime time? Another day I had waited more than 4 hours to get inside EB, and I don’t complain. Where are the people/guilds that only want to play in prime time (talking about BL’s), when we need them? 23:00 GMT is a little too early to disappear. Is necessary to remind that this is a 24/7 game?

After more than 1 year of GW2 and WWW, no server as disappeared, the server number is the same, but many guilds aren’t here anymore. It’s time to decide/choose if you really want to have a better server, and do that with all the people.

To all players, especially to EB map, please help with scouting, building siege, etc. We can rotate all the boring tasks, between us, if everyone offer 10 min of is time to do it will not cost anything, and that will make the difference.

If you don’t want anyone to interpret your toughs, please keep them for you, don’t make them public, and btw when you talk about SFR 3.0 I (and many of us, that have memory) consider that offensive and you know it, or do I need to get back comments from VS players about SFR 1.0 and 2.0, that just intend to offend SFR players? Usually they are linked to the prediction of SFR to be the new Blacktide.

Respect a player that never left is server, and as always fought for it, and a few month ago I stand almost alone against the people that want to transform us in losers (this’s not any indirect comment to you, everyone knows that you left the server).
