Yes we can!!
In three consecutive weeks we beat them 2 times. Of course next week they can win and we can be third.
Possibly you are one of the guys that don’t recognize SFR as a legit server, because we have USA players.
I’m going to a talk with you like a Ranger, “French, German and Spanish have built their own trap”. Why? It’s because you resist to the use of English. I don’t understand when I’m Lions Arch, and I still hear many people searching for group using French or German.
But because I’m Portuguese I want to tell you more.
There are around 170 million people in the world speaking Portuguese, and around 98 million of people speaking German.
Why the Germans have their own serves and we don’t?
I don’t want a Portuguese server, for me is great to find players from other countries when I’m playing (Canadian guilds don’t you want to join us? I love your country and I love Canadian people!!!)

I respect a lot the servers we are currently playing against. I think next week any one can win. There is going to be a fantastic week. BR will be more confident, VS want to show they are the real number one. We will try harder (*) to beat you both.

(*) Fall your commander and their orders (if you don’t agree tell him, be polite, yes you to Mighty Ice Arrow, but you still have to support him and your comrades). Do not stay to long on JP, there is battle out there (keep the badges, and if you aren’t a regular player from WWW offer the Blue Prints to your guild, or to a commander, we will make good use of them). Avoid duels or group fights that don’t lead to any points gain (if you like this type of fights, you can go to SPvP or PvP, because WWW involves players, but it’s different from PVP).

A very good effort but it seems you don’t have much experience in WWW and/or you don’t play in high tiers, I’m only saying these because you have many omissions (I give you one, you forgot the importance of upgrades) and a serial of misconceptions, forgive me if I’m wrong.
I don’t want to discuss some of the aspects that I consider errors; some of them are a personal fight that I have on my server, but let me tell you some facts:
- WWW looks simple but it isn’t, and this leads to many errors, there are many generals in GW2 that can lead a battle, but few commanders that can read the map;
- The 3 way battle server is perfect…if people play only by war objectives, but many times people play with their heart (try to understand why your server tends to put always the 1st treb in SM for the same tower, or the enemy tends to follow the same pattern);
- You really have to fight in WWW, to protect your towers and getting the upgrades, and at the same time try the opposite with your enemies (and there are two, not only one).
I’m not saying WWW it’s all strategy, because that it’s not true, there are lots of tactics to, anyway thanks for your reflection, it’s important that people do that in order to improve the game

Don’t be shy @Doomdesire. Why solo only a tower?
Aim higher, solo SM.
PS: Consider watt you are doing in WWW, better consider watt you are doing in the game, possibly it’s better to save some space in your computer. Uninstall.

Let’s face it, everyone that plays GW for long time (I play both from the start) was surprised by the way professions have been designed.

Ii’s a big mess in terms of balance between professions.

Ive asked this in every one of these threads Ive seen… my main is a Ranger… WHAT can I do to extend a fight let alone win a fight 1 on 1 with a thief?

For every single move I have to gain distance thieves have a move to close the gap almost instantly… on and if its an unload spamming monkey I just die…
So give me a clue here.

Edit: as it stands I do not see a single downside to a thief in WvW, if there is please let me know for curiosity sake.

I’m wondering what everyone thinks could be easy to do improvements and fixes for a better WvW experience. Please note 3 and try to be brief so the feedback is easier to digest for dev eyes.
(Culling doesn’t count, since it’s not an easy fix and being worked on anyway)

1) Name plates of dead players greyed out for much better overview.
Seriously, how much spamming of skills on nothing would that avoid? It would also likely improve frame rates for everyone.

2) Profession symbols for enemy players.
Small and easy change for big impact on overview. This would make planning for an impending engagement so much more doable.

3) More stuff to do for smaller groups.
Might not be an “easy” fix, but I feel that steamrolling around with a 50 man zerg is not the most interesting form of PvP.

WvWvW isnt PvP, thats one of the big mistkes people do, dut thats an inprovement for players.
1) JP removed or only accessed once a day per account after killing a specific number the enemies in WvWVW (great idea Victory);
2) Prizes for wining servers, can be statues in LA, or prizes for players (for instance for those that achieved the monthly kill objective)
3) Drop rate of badges and blue prints, as loot, are very low. must be improved (less incentive to grinding JP)

Logged out at about 6.00pm on the 31st. SFR was about hundred points behind Elona and about 3k points behind Vizunah. After celebrating the new year, sleeping until 4.30pm and logging in a hour later SRF was 16k points in front. So gz to RUIN 2.0(PRX) for deciding this matchup while the german and french were celebrating. 24 own us servers, but still prefer to kitten up the european ladder. gj

You are totally wrong, not a single guy from PRX in EB (until I logged off around 5 in the morning) last fights we did was with a very drunk commander (I’m not giving his/her name), and some other drunk players, not me of course.
First ER as wiped all of your map, you guys only have the base, then we started to cap your map from them, around 4 in the morning we started to treb you keep from Jennyfers, wen the wall was down we have tried to cap the keep, but we are few for that, less them 20, at that that time you more players then us in ER (in order to that, you had to remove some players from border lands, and this will cost you some points there).
On the 31 December, we had played very well during the day (shhhh don’t tell this to my SFR mates, or please don’t tell them I said this, and I’m proud of them).

Back from good time today on EBG

Elona hammered us hard for like 1 hours in a row with a 30 players group while seafarer’s rest held SM.

This group was lead by a big charr guy from Eqnx guild, followed by a lot of people from, Pray, NI and WT guilds.

Could you guys explain why you did this? You wanted to test us?

Because it only led to both teams cancelling each others, so we didn’t take anything during that time and you didn’t as well, while seafarer was stuffing SM up freely ^^

Come on hi expected a lot more form a VS commander! (Not irony, you guys are very strong opponents)
Complaining because ER hit you for 1 hour?
The history of this fight is ER when they have the chance to choose, they always attack SFR in the beginning of the confrontation, didn’t you find strange at the start of the match that with your North SM wall down, ER don’t pay you a visit? But when we get SM then ER and VS they visit us, many times at the same time.
Then this behavior as changed and ER also attacks VS, and of course VS started to attack ER.
Yesterday another change, ER when they can choose they always attack SFR (man we run so many times between Durios and QL, but that’s your choice and we have to play), sometimes you both attacked us at the same time, once again we have to live with that. Want won’t kill you, make you stronger.
But maybe you didn’t play to many hours and have found the behavior of ER strange, but as you know some times we have bad decisions, maybe that’s one of the ER commanders.

Do you ever stopped to think why the 1st treb you mount in SM is to Durios?
But that don’t mater. For me the most important is that I’m having lots of fun, still learning with all including opponents. I’m sure they are learning also from us.
For instance ER as learned that all sieges have week points, when they have mounted watt they think that was a perfect siege to Durios, but a poor Ranger (me) spotted the week point, they bashed him, but he has returned very fast and using caps (not nice), with lots of errors (sorry guys), told to his comrades to follow him, and we put a tragic end to that “perfect” siege, very quick ER as returned with 5 golems and tried to build another one, all smashed again.
If anyone from no EU guilds want to join SFR your welcome. US guilds join us, as you can read in these posts, you going to have hard times with VS or BR (of course EU guilds are also welcome, especially if they are French speakers, we can need Cheesepandas, sorry for the bad joke:))
This is a 24/7 game, so don’t cry because night capping!!!
Any guild can play where they want to play, don’t cry about it !!!

Real annoying for us that try to play the game. A Guild removes 10 players from the fields of battle, very smart move. According to the latest news VS and ER had camped JP (I hope with 15 players).
JP should be removed from WWW or limited to once per day/per account

I don’t care the country of players, they belong to a server and that’s watt we have to face.
Mooning about night capping? Stop! This is a 24/7 game!
Complaining about ZERG? Stop! If this is WvW maybe you can split your team, with WvWvW, if one server starts ZERGING, you have to do the same or you lose! You still not convinced because you don’t like to ZERG? Go to SPvP or to PVP here you can do 1v1 or 5v5.
WvWvW isn’t PVP, absolute true!!! Why? Because in WvWvW the most important thing is your team, not you, if you sacrifice in order to your team wins, it’s ok, if you fly just not to die, and that hurts your team, that’s bad (watch the front lines from VS jumping to our siege).
We lose because VS outnumber us! That’s a lie! Two nights a go we assault SM with 6 golems, in 1 minute we are in lord room. And we failed! Why? Because there is a queue to enter EB, so we have the numbers, but half of the players didn’t show up in the attack.
T1 is the place I want to be. That’s the only place where I have seen real tactics and strategy. Some battles have been awesome, some epic.
All players and commanders have lots to learn from VS, mainly the positive reasons they are the number one. I which all of us in SFR can reflect about some aspects of the game, and help to turn SFR in the number one server.
Congratulations to VS for is win this week, I’m sure next week SFR will do is best to win.
