I just want to point out that SFR is not a german nor a european server. Further I would be pleased if you’d consider different time-zones for americans, europeans, russians and whatever.

Do you really think every SFR player is in the same time-zone as germany is in? Elona is probably german only, SFR is wide spread and not only central europe for sure.
So think twice when you come next time around and shout that all the germans rage quit. Probably they are not in your time-zone and have to sleep as well as you have to. Make a screenshot when it’s 4pm in germany because this would be way more reliable.

First i have to say that i have the biggest respect of the actual peformance of the SFR server. But it`s not the first time that i have seen a few of your people (black sheaps) that used bugs to capture towers or citadels.
The last time this happened was at a tower on elona reach BL a few minutes ago.
A mesmer who “climbed” the walls and brings a few “friends”.
By the way it was complete useless.. no possibilty from our side to defend the tower ;-)
I have the screenshots but i don`t think that it is necessary to make them public. If a raid leader want´s them, i will provide them.
We all want fun in the game and the best one should win. (i think this is called fair play?)
Last i want to say is that i don`t think that you guys really need it. You are good enough and with these “bug using” every hard won victory get`s a negative connotation and damages the image of your hole server.
So if you have the possibility to appeal to these people, please do it.

You really need to do something:

1st – Report to Anet;
2nd – Send the screenshots, to someone from SFR (I think there is no problem to send them to Wemil, he will show them to respective guild leader, he knows more guild leaders them me).

We like oter servers don’t want cheaters, hackers or spyes. Let’s ban them from guilds and from game.

Please help us to stop bad people.

One day SFR might decide to play the points game (you know, take out all dollies, make sure all guard points are flipped before points tally, cap all camps, have a 50+ night zerg pvd’ing) but I hope not. As a Pug I like our current system as I can relax and have fun, join in a few raids when I come across them and queue for EB when I feel like seeing a few more even battles.

We already did it in the past. Result you lost five weeks in a row, then Anet feel the need to “help” us, and we lost a bunch of guilds. I explain again how SFR works, EB its pug land, BL’s guilds land with a few pugs.

It’s very hard to reply wen one high populated server makes it’s “call to arms” we simply don’t have the numbers, but I think we have space for more good guilds, and we hope some guilds will grow (please Anet we don’t need your help with more free transfers).

We just lost one battle, the war it’s still on.

This is EB point of view (when there is double team, EB is the easy map to see it). Last night was spectacular, I stayed until very late, no PvD for anyone:)

VS had put us in trouble (open fight terms), when they had a guild playing in EB with good numbers, good lesson for some SFR slackers.

VS tried 3 times golem’s rushes to SM with no success. Sorry JS for our golem rush and VS took the opportunity to attack you guys to, no way can you defend from it.
We will do our best and try to catch up.

PS: Where is Wicky Pedia? One match against VS and I didn’t see him at EB yet, the funniest commander to play when we have VS as opponent.

Some hints to RS & ER alliance in EB:

You guys must coordinate better your attacks (are you sharing the TS?);
You need to help each other better;
After one ole week of double teaming the better you can do is this, must be frustrating;

You got the correct reply to the dishonorable way you have played this match (a full week of 2v1), we aren’t weeping. We won the match and we have learned to deal with 2vs1 (a fully upgraded SM for several times and during many hours shows all).

Totally agree with Wemil. There is no place to commanders that insist to tickling the enemy when they need is a strong lesson. If you show enemy weakness they will throw everything on you.

Congratlations to PS to exelent match they are doing. There is a place for qaulity in WWW and they ar showing it (true we (SFR) have lots of guilds and players with quality. Don’ t want to ofend ER because they also have quality, this as been a much harder week for us in terms of fights, our respect to our opponents.

The funny thing is when Wemil asked to a match with PS many people from VZ told him that isn’t going to be balanced, they were wrong, I’m happy to see that quality can prevail in the game.

It’s fair to give my congratulations to Anet for the new matchups. They are much more fun to play for everyone I think.

Only problem for me in this match-up is that we are getting more commander Whiners. Those that spend ten minutes crying and blaming others after we lose something, rather than concentrating how we move on. On positive side, there are commanders that do seem to shine on harder match-up and think more positively.

Let me guess, you are from Piken. You guys gave good open fights, but your strategy in EB map is completely wrong, come on fighting to keep a T1 SM and lose all of your towers on map like last sunday…Dependending on ER move ,you guys risked to losse your keep to us or to them.

Dear Piken Square friends the current matchup puts you the number 8 server against the number 2 and number 4 servers. Do you really expect to win? I don’t think so. But so far you are doing a great match, including for us (SFR) in EB map you are welcomed because you have a good level of difficulty, which will make us improve in open field fights (this is pugland for our server, so coordination its far more difficult).

To all, stop the blob/zerg whining, because don’t make any sense. It’s surprising to see that some players still not get the point about WvW. GvG should never happen in WvW at best it is tolerated with some condition (empty map, no queue, off peak hours).

Organizing GvG outside the EB JP is just contributing to spread bad mood everywhere.

You should better spend your energy spamming ANet to really implement a GvG.

Even though it is true that WvWvW is won by having more points by opposing servers and that you get points by capping targets and killing dolyaks I hardly believe that Anet had in mind that player communities should not evolve new ways of taking advantage of vast areas we are provided in forms of BLs and EB. There are lots of competitive groups/guilds out there which aim to improve their skill/play against others so I would say battles are a strong part of WvWvW even though they do not provide any points for overall score. Still, majority of us wish to compete against players instead of doors. I find this GvG as a marvelous mark of players evolving setup that Anet has provided. Fighting in even numbers is fun, more challenging – gives more space for skill to shine which is not the case when you fight against 1:5 odds with only weapon skills coming out …barely.
I consider therefore GvG as a fun addition & change for normal mayhen of wvwvw – it gives variety, not hinders to gameplay and I see it as an excellent thing. I would love to see more even smaller scale ones – 5v5, 10v10 what ever size vs what ever size.
About comment regaring off-hours, empty maps and no ques – yeah right – this is again “night-capping” discussion and all the stuff that hit the fan again. So people should skip school, work or remain at play and sleep only few hours so that they would be allowed to play gvg? right…
I cannot turn your head naturally any more than you can mine but I doubt mmorpgs might not be correct place if you do not like that players evolve new ways to use game environment and have fun there.
Still I definately agree with you that Anet should implement separate arena-like GvG place in the game.

Lucky for you not playing in EB, I’m going to give some info about that map (play there 99.99% of the time, during the weekend played more than 24 h):

- EB is PUG land for SFR;
- We blob in EB;
- We don’t blob in EB when we got attacked by both server at the same time;
- Do you know that I haven’t seen you guys capping a single tower from VZ during the time I was playing;
- Do you know that your server always chose to attack us in EB? Probably not.
- Sunday VZ have a fully upgraded SM, full of siege, capable of be used as one attack base to the other servers, in the afternoon we started the attack operation to take it down, can you guess who add appeared using the breach in the wall we have made, and the broken door? Yes you guessed, you beloved server, making even more harder to flip SM, but we made it, I have commanded my first 5 min with a total wrong build an armor for that, because the commander got DC;
- We can’t play for points because we don’t have night crew, but in EB we try to play the game as it should be played wen we want to win, we know that the opponents night capping crew will come and destroy all, we don’t care we are not there so we can’t do nothing about it;
- My last info to you and to all of our present and future opponents, we have in EB great commanders (I’m not include of course and this isn’t false modesty), great players (not included also) and a great community (I’m proud to include my self).

Yes we are having great fun, with great music (Wiki Pedia as the best German music ever), lots of fun in TS, we don’t care about the final score, we only care about the score when we are present at the maps.

Guys need some sugestions for the best builds for a Ranger playing as commander in front line, can some one help, please include info about traits, sigils, etc.

Last night time once again Deso fought for hours near SM door in a complete adverse situation, and you complain about outmanned. Didn’t you feel the damage from our siege? How can you come here crying about numbers, go to EB and see your numbers there. You don’t have numbers in BL’s because all the people are in EB doing stupid fights.

Why do you need to call your enemy stupid in almost every single message? So SFR is the only server with smart players, sitting all day next to your siege and avoiding open field fights unless you got bigger numbers, while enemy is ignorant fools dying to totally overpowered AC fire?

I don’t disagree that Deso has put biggest push to EB and ignoring all other BLs besides Deso. We simply don’t have enough people for all the maps.

But maybe today was a bit different?

I took command of Deso BL and we captured 90% of the map. Unlike the players from certain other server, I have the guts and honesty to admit that we won the fights because we had bigger numbers. A rare occasion for Deso. Our PuGs were following me a bit too good, because it is not good to have everybody in the same group and no intel or guarding stuff. I try to encourage our players to use split team tactics when it is useful. I guess our players go stomach full from this, since once I took my tag off we started to lose stuff fast.

A bit more honesty to these messages: Winning is based almost solely on numbers and coverage. And Desolation obviously wants and needs to drop down tiers, so we definitely don’t want too many points from this week.

See my messages and you don’t see the word “stupid” to people; I have called that “stupid fights” and read a post from your own server that agrees with me using the word “useless” I can replace stupid for useless if you feel better, but if you have someone commanding in EB at the time, yes all players will call him stupid including the ones from his own server.

Watt I had comment in the past it’s you post calling 10 men a blob, its self-explanatory about you, and you capacities. Did I call you stupid? No. I did advise you the way you spend your gold, just that.

Stop telling us your story. You are welcomed to visit us and see watt can some of the commanders from SFR can do. The reason I’m not using the tag isn’t money, it’s very simple, and after 7 month I’m still far from them.

Yes I’m humble, but I have learned many things including from the opponents, on top of those VZ, the 2nd time when we win 3 times in five weeks, they had great commanders with great tactics.

atm sfr is getting new peoples all the time and we have few commanders in eb sfr that push hard to give them fun some education we don’t blob 70+ we are running sometimes 30-40 sometimes when we meet heavy resistance yes we outnumber a bit at that moment it depends if we are doing 2v1 or fair 1on1.

mostly kodash and deso attack us same time one at ogre one at anza at that moment I get some to defend towers and I make 5 seconds wipes on you to make sure I do not lose a tower.

but in other situations I always split up zergs I get some to roam I get some to go borderlands keep the numbers below 45.

and eb is pug centered and many pve players that looking into some WvW and new comers mostly join there and I want to teach them so when I send them to borderlands they are educated they are strong they got the right stuffs they do not run under lvl 80 with masterwork sets lol-.-

and basically yes we keep the pichakus from borderlands so iddq/rise boom con and many guilds can que there.

You raise a solid point but i will tell you what i have noticed. You might say you do keep the numbers below 45 on EB. I try to command in DESO BL alot more than EB lately and for the past days it has been shocking. I wont exaggerate cause there is no point i see 35 – 50 players in the map. you even have enough to take camp, attack cragtop and 4 golem rush the garrison (btw golems build outside the garrison). Even if you do it in EB it doesn’t change what is happening round the other borderlands. I know deso fighting outmanned most times in our borders because SFR feels like capping everything 100%.

im not here complaining about you blobbing or not. You have the numbers so use it right.

I know what you mean, but guilds want to improve their own fighting skills. Adding more manpower to it wont help much. Facing high number of enemies and wiping to pug blob sometiems is not funny, but can’t be helped atm…

So you think the pug blob can’t beat the guild blob? Are you sure? Think better. Watt makes you guild blob better? The organization and the commander, right? Do you know of the invention of TS? Stop the blob argument, Darkman already explained the reason of blobbing. You are talking about EB, the place I play 99.99% of the time for seven months (in weekends sometimes 16h). I am sorry but you guys were attacking our side towers from our spawn with 100-200 ppl, making lots of lag.. we were just with max! 30 or 40, I call that blobbing on its best.

And your right in rebuilding our server, but when Anet keeps us in these insane match ups for months in a row, we really cannot do that. They stated matches would change on the 28th but still we are fighting the same server.

We want to get out of this tier, but even losing doesn’t help, but its my fair opinion when I call you guys blobbers when you attack with around 100 ppl. It scks mate.

I sympathize with your problems and understand your frustration, it’s hard to be in your position, but let me remind you that as usual Deso puts all of their chips in EB, and yes EB its still pug land for us, so if you don’t have commanders it’s hard to split the forces, unless wen we have to defend two points.

Blaming us for having the numbers doesn’t add anything to your “fight”, and Deso is showing a great spirit, last night you guys fought us near the outer door of SM in your side of the map, ok that fight was only good for us, because we are upgrading SM, and at the same time our main group was doing the points, also Kodash attack us at Ogres, with no chance to succeed we have trebs and mortar, no chance for them, but that was fun, once again 0 points for them as our main force was doing their job.

I think it’s unfair to call a guild raid with 30-40 people a blob. That is simply a large guild group. It becomes a blob when there are multiple guilds running together and you have to question why do this? Are you so unskilled that you need to rely on another guild to carry you?

INVI had close to 30 people last night on Kodash and then SFR borders, which is a fair number yet we struggled to do anything because SFR (and you have admitted this yourselves) blobbed the hell out of us. Fair play to OSC and Fry, initially it was clever what you were doing, but we stupidly fell for it over and over again. However, the rest were just ridiculous and resulted in a very boring evening of WvW.

At one point the SFR blob was just staying around Greenlake and Water. Every time myself and only one or two others went to re-cap Water, 50+ SFR would come running along. What’s the point?

So please, if you are a guild group then just try to do your own thing because it is simply not fun constantly having 50+ blobs of multiple guild groups chasing you. It’s not even fun being in a blob, there’s no skill or challenge involved.

Of course Deso as never done this.

I wouldn’t mind having ACs removed from the game while they are so overpowered, but not being able to build any catapults and rams severely punishes small teams (I am talking about groups of less than 10). Taking down one reinforced door or wall without any siege takes way too long time. Enough time for that huge SFR blob to arrive.

Thus this is the perfect patch to favor those who have larger numbers. Yes, I know that golems work, but if you have just 2-3 players on your side and enemy has 20-30, golems are not that realistic option either.

I was so happy that OSC transfered to sfr. I was looking forward to meet them again after they really impressed me when we met them 5 weeks after release or so and tought they were really good.
Now all I see them is zerg around and if you meet them 1on1 on the field they run without even trying. realy disapointed… and btw you re in really bad company with XAOC those are about the lowest skill players from sfr.

I was this evening playing couple of hours in Deso BL. I couldn’t see much anything else than SFR blobs. Just avoid confusion:
blob = 10 or more
Most of the SFR blobs I saw today had roughly 20-30, some had more, but it is difficult to count past 30 in a hectic fight.

Anycase my prediction was that SFR will win this week, Deso will be #2 and Kodash will be #3, seems to become reality. Let’s now start predicting what opponents you will get after the reset and new random system. I hope Desolation will face Kodash and Piken Square in next match up, which is possible, but also it might be so that SFR + Kodash + Deso will stay in same tier.

Please address you’re which of GvG space to Arenanet, I don’t want to be not able to enter WWW to play, because some guys decided to have some “fun”.

I am really happy to see SFR improve during the week and getting some of their core guilds back. It would have been a shame if the people from a whole server would have been punished for the misstakes the dev s made.

Maguuma Commanders get 20+ levels a day doing 6 hour runs. I think OP isn’t standing in the capture circles when claiming a tower or guard post, or killing any players.

20 lvls is 100k wxp, in 6 hours we talking about 17k (yes, 17,000) wxp per hour, and each tower cap gives 150. That’s 113 towers an hour for 6 hours, every day…

You must be in a low tier server. We have a great matchup with Yaks and Kaineng. Lots of battles on all BLs and EB. And you do realize that you get WXP from not only towers, but guard posts, camps, and killing Invaders too right? You think we just sit around looking for towers and avoiding zergs? We’re Maguuma. We chase zergs or rush head first into them. And when we’re not paying attention, Paralda leads off a cliff like lemmings.

Stop being pathetic. Your numbers are impossible; you have the 5 min buff.
And btw I’m from SFR, not from any lower tier server.
