We have about 41 members, maybe 20 active. The most elite players this game has to offer.
People hate on us on forums because we have either
A) kitten them in wvw with half their numbers
B) Declined them entry to the guild.
Let the hate flow. Every server we fought learned our name quick. To say we are famous is an understatement. We have followers, stalkers and most of all haters. You cant get to be #1 w/o those along the way.

According to my calculations, AoN 7 member gank squads average around 3.4 kills per minute and play 24 hours straight, everyday. 5,000+ Kills a day is quite impressive.
Some PRO players thought they could get a jump on me while I was eating at my keyboard. Killed 2, got killed by 2 randoms passing by when I was at low low hp, not bad PRO, bring 3 next time

You’ve been trying to discredit ME as a zerger this entire time, saying that I don’t have any skill because I’ve run with a zerg. Like I’ve been telling you in post 1, zergs do things that small man groups cannot. And again, I also roam, and I’ve won (and lost) plenty of small group fights. I know how my class works, thank you very much.

So many players from my guild are rage quitting over this, seriously ANet, do you realise how important this is?
We had a constant 50+ turnout for guild events in WvW (we do 3 a week and is our main focus) and now we’re down to half of that. EVERY SINGLE person said they would not come back until culling was fixed…now many of those have decided not to come back at all.
My guild will die if this isn’t fixed like yesterday.
Please please please Anet, hire whoever you have to, just get this fixed in the next 2 weeks.
No, culling isnt killing my guild, we dont find strength in numbers, rather in player skill our 10 man could take on your 50man.

You sir are what we call a zerger. Running in numbers doesnt promote healthy learning of your class due to relying on the 30 people behind you as well.
You want to test your metal step away from the zerg and large bodied groups.
WvW is about big armies fighting big armies. Do smaller ‘havoc squads’ and ‘kill teams’ have a place? Absolutely.
But, if said small team runs into a 30+ person zerg, and tries to stand their ground (for whatever reason) then the odds should not be in their favor.
Sure, skill can help. Good tactics on the part of the small team can help. And hell, despite the odds, the small team /could/ manage to come out on top. It’s not an impossibility.
But that should never be an automatic thing, even if it is just because of sheer overwhelming numbers.
Zergs are here to stay, whether you like them or not. If you never want to deal with the fact they you might be outnumbered and overwhelmed, then sPvP is over that way…
Even the games mentioned used “extend groups” to wipe superior numbers. No one “stood their ground”.
The issue in GW2 for elite 5-mans, currently, is threefold:
1.) Causing a player to overextend does nothing as they are revived by the wave flooding over them (dead player should not be rezzable from defeated in combat, downed state, sure, but not totally defeated.).
2.) The current rendering issues (mistakenly called culling) make it impossible to tell exactly where the “front” of the pursuing zerg is. This makes it nearly impossible to effectively “kite” the whole zerg.
3.) Aoe caps make it so that AOE CC applied, only affects 5 players. If groups could snare an entire zerg with an aoe, a 5-man, if well played, could force a zerg to “extend” making the numbers more manageable. They’d then only have to deal with a few overextenders, then rinse and repeat.

Also, your assumption about 30 players having no skill is wrong. You see zergs usually form because a commander is on the map calling people to rally on him to achieve an objective. At least in the higher tiers it is like that. Hence, those 30 are going to be composed of a variety of people. Some will be absolutely horrid, but that’s OK because they’re new and learning (or maybe they’re experienced and still bad, but everyone has the right to play the game, so it’s still fine because they’re usually still helping in some way). Most will be OK players, and a few will be good. Why should a five man group have ANY advantage over them in the open field?
I totally agree with lowering downed state health and getting rid of resurrecting dead players, but the idea of nerfing a zerg just cause they’re a zerg is silly.
Where did the nerfing a zerg idea come from? If anet nerfs zergs(?) then who would roaming guilds fight.
You would fight nerfed zergs, after all you seem to want to (unrealistically) farm zergs like movie heroes do.

Requests for a 5v5 have been sent.
Requests for 5v5 have been declined along with smack talk how they are the better guild. These things dont tend to go anywhere when we challenge people.
Guilds usually decline or smack talk how wvw isnt 5v5 and that they wont do it =\
AoN formally declined our 5v5 challenge last week.
20v30 the 20 players well win if they have some organization, but that doesnt mean its not zerg v zerg.
Look at RG’s numbers. Do they look like a zerg guild to you?
Also it’s not just “some organization”. Look at all the boons stacked on each person, look at how the blast finishers set off water fields and heal everyone, look at how everyone’s health is almost always full. Look at how QUICKLY RG wipes those larger guilds.
Id like to see this video of 5v30. When you find it post it otherwise your full of kitten.

Oh and if you’ve never held off 30 with 5 people you shouldn’t be telling me I have no skill, nor should you be bragging that OG is the best, because there are people who have won 5v30’s, and were on the 5 side. (granted, against horrible players, but you did say “doesn’t matter how good the 5 are”)

The problem is that skill does not play enough of a role. Of course skill could matter to much and make the game inaccessible to new players but as it stands numbers > all
I have lost 2v1’s (where i was on the team of two) and consequentially i have also won 1v2’s (where i faced two opponents alone). I can’t speak for gear but everyone was lv 80. Yes, skill matters, and numbers do NOT trump all. I’m sure many others have had similar experiences of winning and losing outnumbered open field fights. Also, have you not seen the 4v30 videos? or the 7v50?
Numbers is the greatest advantage you can have, I’ll admit that, but that’s the way it SHOULD be.
The 4v30 and 7v50 video is not even worth watching. The zerg is scared of attacking them thus getting free hits off. Only when last couple minute of the 7v50 the zerg realized what are we doing? Lets push them and came there down fall.When they can easily push through and crush them. If that was in a higher tier server they would of just get wrecked no problem.
That’s something called superior (or in the 30/50’s case inferior) skill.

Well, I attempted to lure less than 3 FA away from their zerg, seems they only care to fight in large numbers (as you can see from EasE guild member running away from a 1v1 )vs 1 person. Havent seen any decent roaming players from FA, infact none that have even been a challenge. FA is mainly “Zerg here” “Now zerg there!” “Oh theres one person from an enemy server all 20+ of us must chase him till hes dead”
It’s WvWvW… and if you’re near a zerg expect to be chased. Whenever I get disconnected from my group and have to run back to them, i occasionally run semi-near a db or mag zerg. Even if I’m so far away that they can only see my outline, I still get a huge bunch on my tail. It’s just player mentality and stop complaining about FA because every server does it. If u want a 1v1 then go duel in the jumping puzzle or Spvp.
Eh I wasnt the one being chased, some d/d ele from DB was being chased by 20+ FA, while I was just sitting on the rock watching it by myself. He lasted a bit too for how many FA players there was. No one from the zerg approached me by themselves, they sat back till they had about 6 people then came after me..lol FA

Some OG vs Echo guild and pro guild today. Good fights. Not sure how many Echo guild had, 15+ for sure. We where running.. a 7 man? Wasnt able to get any screenies of our fights echo guild my apologies.

I keep reading posts from this OG guild but I’ve never met them…until tonight. Here’s a vid of our encounter. (NB: My guild has almost no spvp/tpvp players and certainly makes no claims about being good at roaming fights).
Initially 4 FA vs 5 Maguuma. After we retook our supply camp it was 5 FA vs 6 Maguuma (it’s hard to tell if they had more as they kept spreading out, but you can certainly see at least these tags — 3 OG + MUG + SKIL + PXP).
My main concern during this entire video was retaking our supply camp. TBH, I can’t see any justification to the claims that Maguuma’s roaming gankers are any better than FA or Dragonbrand players.
I clearly saw two OG in the video, certainly not a roaming party and certainly not enough to make up for 5v2 og and up lvls that i continuously saw. also randoms floated in and out from FA the entire fight.
I think your confusing the mesmers clones from OG that you continuously targeted as counting for more OG than there actually was. Aside from aoe you had next to zero single target abilities so dont act like you where the person downing people with 2k hits here and there, 90% of the fight you wher on clones, the other 10% the thief that 4 other players where also having troubles killing lol.

That was actually the fight we where watching. For not being a zerg guild you guys sure held of the entirety of DB BL in that one keep. Ill admit you have a tactic, drop 3 mesmer portals let DB rush lord room, portal back up rinse repeat, sad they kept falling for such a silly gimmick.
Also you had a fairly large amount of people, when you guys portaled in and out my screen completely filled with red BT tags and we where at a distance. This video is zerging with some tactic, still outnumbering the enemy and you cant say you werent because I was there, you out numbered Mag and DB at that keep.
Only an equally large group (zerg, duh) could fight the other group (zerg o.o)
I’m sorry, but you’re the one that’s wrong. Very often smaller groups break the backs of “zergs” and send them scampering for the hills. Sure, the zerg will often roll a small group, but if your group can only beat equally sized groups, you seriously need some WvW practice in teamwork.
I dont think you understand me here. Small group is 5 in maguuma, idkwtf it is for you guys. Yes, these small 5man OG groups do take on 10+ and even 13+ people and win. But there comes a point when 5v20, no matter how good you are just isnt going to do it.
And these videos you guys posted of us..those count for nothing, it wasnt an OG roaming group by the looks of it it was just 2 OG’s roaming till they where zerged.

BT is far from a roaming guild, your title is more correctly justified as a zerg guild. You portal bombed us today while we where watching you guys fight DB. 30+ people came through that portal so many that I lagged slightly. Hardly considered a roaming guild.

Im sorry, but this statement is just SO wrong. Having massive amounts of players is a crutch, its a huge handicap, be it players who know what they are doing and even some who dont. It doesnt kittening matter if theres so many people culling becomes an issue.
Being a small group taking on larger numbered groups does make you a better player and more elite. Out numbering people 3-1 by zerging does not make you skilled.
Zergging isnt a term used for dieing. Its a term used when your ran over by a force to large to fight due to numbers. Only an equally large group (zerg, duh) could fight the other group (zerg o.o)
You can kitten foot around being a large organized guild all you want. Zerg is zerg.
Just because you utilize “some” tactics and voice chat doesnt make you not a zerg. You simply defeat your opponents by out numbering them, simple as that. In equal numbered fights you dont stand a chance against even half decent roaming guild.
Not to say your not a good zerg guild. +1 respect for that. Magguma didnt want to be in this tier and if you want the honest truth, the guilds on our servers arnt ment to handle zergs like you BT guys, simply dont have the numbers.
