It doesn’t.
Becouse there’s bug when your damage display keep adding when you use channeling skills.
You can even show 49k+ at it won’t prove nothing. Only first cast of Firejet shows real damage in numbers

FT Group buffing suckz compared to elementalist or warrior.

Bullkitten. Flamethrower has very low dps compared to bombs or granades.
Flamejet has almost 2,5 sec casting time and you can’t cast abilities while channeling.
People are saying “look i hit it for 5k from auto-attack!”. Well you hit 5k every 2,5 seconds, which is 2k dps. Single warrior axe chop from auto attack deal more damage.
Wanna be usefull in PvE ? Use granades or bombs. I’m tiried P/P 0 kit engineers and flamethrower ones saying they are dealing “tons of damage” when they actually doesn’t do anything :/
And becouse of that players that doesn’t play engineer think that engineer is weak.

I don’t agree with you at all.
Engineer is the best “debuffer” in the game, also he has most combo fields with simple 3 kits.

(you need to have skelk venom from event).
So what that build can offer:
- permament 25 vulnerability on every enemy (note that bosses has only 50% vuln durration)
- pernament weakness and almost chill
- AoE pull (like guardian gs 5) from kit refinment
- cap 25 bleed, perma burning and poison
- 4 seconds AoE blind every 20 sec (very usefull versus strong trash mobs, non champion, helps alot in 49 fractals)
- 2 AoE condi clear every 20/15 sec and 5 condi removal every 12 sec from flumigate (noobs don’t know about it)
- pernament cripple (more dmg from traits, and usable with ranged kite bosses)
- Blast combos: 12 AoE might, 8 sec stealth, 8500 AoE heal
- Usefull regeneration from toolbelt and heal from Super Elixir
So don’t tell me kitten about that engineer can’t do nothing ^^

1. More weapons to each class
Add weapons that fit to the class. At example scepter won’t fit at all to engineer or warrior.
Warrior: Main/off hand Pistol ( to be like Rytlock), Torch (warrior has allready tons ow weapons)
Guardian: Longbow (coz of Spirit Bow), off hand mace, off hand sword
Ranger: Hammer (Bunny Thumper), Sword Offhand, Dagger main hand (condi melee weapon)
Engineer: Hammer , Mace main/off hand
Thief: Rifle (sniper weapon), mace offhand (CC weapon from thief game series)
Necro: Axe offhand, 2h sword , Torch off hand (DHUMFIRE!)
Mesmer: Pistol Main hand, Axe Main hand
Elementalist: I don’t realy know what to add to this ^^ Sword mainhand maybe ? Coz rest of the weapons have their Elemental Weapon counterpart.
2. More elite skills, more utility skills
At example engineer has only one useable elite skill :/ We need them more.
3. Reputation system in zones which we have 100%
Doing events in maps where we have 100% competition increases your zone reputation. More reputation gives you:
- Unique PvE utility skills (PvE ONLY!)
- Unique Weapon and Armor skins
- New Tittles
4. Unique Skins for sPvP, sPvP skin progression
5. Unique WvW skins, Commander leveling, WvW player progression
Commander while commanding his group at WvW can lvl up their command level to unlock unique abilites like:
- Changing Commander symbol on the map
- Writing adversivment to his fellow brothers of war in squad and all people around him (like GM massage apears at the middle of the screen)
- Global map drawing, Commander Waypoints which everybuddy on map can see (or in squad, near commander)
- Unique Commander Golem blueprint which only can be one on the map. It isn’t stronger but looks cool and has ray of light from heaven on him which only allies can see.
6. Guild upgrades
I’m talkin here about:
- Upgrade able GUILD HALLS!
- GUILD vs GUILD system.
- Tier II Guild Puzzles
- More Guild Upgrades offering unique skins etc. to old and experienced members.
7 PvE and Dungeons, Fractals changes:
- Remove condition cap and give personal condition cap on it place.
- Add enemies which requaires healing, tank and condition builds. End of zerker meta!
- Add hardcore/veteran dungeon variations with highly increased difficulty level. This dungeons are much harder to do, requaires tight group cooperation and gives… unique skins!
- Mobs has AI! They no more come into wall or corner to use your charge, spin attacks Mobs are now mobile while combat.
- Add new stat: Wildness which gives chance to your conditions to deal more damage. (like cricital chance , but without critical damage). To encourage people to do glass cannon condi builds.
8. Personal Story Act. II
New act of personal story which happends after dead of the Scarlet. You need to track Jormag and Mordremoth to hunt them down!
9 Raids!
Hard 20 man dungeons. (4 parties). In some cases you need to split, but if one of party fail with theirs objective rest 3 are doomed.
10. New zones
- Maguma Jungle
- Far Shiverpeaks
- Blood Legion Homeland
- Ancient Dwarflands
- Crystal Desert, and Elona
- You have been waiting for it: CANTHA
11. Huge maps -> Mounts

Most of these changes and features comes from paid expansion packs , like it was in the first Guild Wars

And after it you can slowly lvl up your crafting and craft it in the time.

Thats all, rest you can craft even in 2020. Only get those parts.
Simple fix: Allow players to hold down the button of a autoattack marked ground target skill, thus having it go off where the mouse pointer is on every recharge.

Proposal Overview
Make fractals more rewarding activity, by adding unlockables and new rewads.
Goal of Proposal
To interest people with higher lvl fractals. Adding new courency, making fractals more “dungeonish”
Proposal Functionality
- Add a new courency (like dungeon tokens), which you will gain in the lvls 40+ (or 50+)
- For that courency you would buy tier 2 fractal weapons (ascended weapons, with new skins) and fractal armor (ascended, with new skin).
- This would be long term, goal farming high level fractals becouse you will gain about 20 tokens per run (higher lvls more tokens), but armor and t2 fractal weapons would cost 180+ per run. You can gain only one time tokens by each lvl, each day. I mean: If you do lvl 48 two times you will get tokens only ones. After that you will do lvl 50, and you will get the tokens.
- Tier 2 weapons and armor would be without stats. After purchase you will choose which stat should it has (like new ascended backpacks). Choosing stat is avaiable only once.
- This would not ruin the “Ascended crafting” becouse to get to the lvl 50+ you need that additional Agony resist (from the armor), to survive.
- Also for players who don’t need that armor, they don’t like that skin or somethin somethin. Players can exchange tokens for T6 crafting materials. This will reduce price of crafting T7 mats , and also make Fractals more profitable activity if your goal is not that new cool armor and weapons.
- Also also, You can buy with new courency new Gift for new Legendary weapons , trinkets or armors (in future).

Giving turrets legs means complete model redesign, and its much work to do…
People are always taking about “moving” turrets, but they dont understand that cost a lots of resources…
It isn’t so simple like ranger spirits which have monster models…
Turrets:
- Increase cooldown of Healing Turret to 30 seconds, but reduce Cleansing Burst cooldown to 12 seconds. (This will nerf the burst heal potential but gives stable healing income, and force players to have turret placed instead of detonate’ing it right after overcharge).
- Reduce hit box to model size of turrets. (bug fix)
- Repair turrets bugged attack speed. (bug fix)
- Decrease cooldown of Flame Turret’s overcharge Smoke Screen to 24 seconds. It now last 6 seconds and infict blindness every second.
- Rocket Turret – increase basic damage by 20%.
- Decrease cooldown of Rifle Turret’s overcharge Automatic Fire to 24 seconds, now infict both bleeding and vunlerability per shot.
- Net Turret – change attack speed to 10 seconds, Electrified Net now correclty increases attack speed of turret.
- Change Thumper Turret basic attack mechanic. Increase attack speed to 12 seconds, but now automaticly knocks back enemy when target enters the turret attack range. Thump is now instant ability.
Turret Traits:
- Low-Health Response System – change health threshold to 50%
- Accelerant-Packed Turrets – increase the damage, explosion now scales with player’s stats.
- Merge Autotool Installation and Metal Plating into one master trait.
- Rifled Turret Barrels – now increase attack speed by 20% of ALL turrets instead of damage (this will buff all turrets, not only “damaging” ones). Increased range will also increase efect radius of “non-shooting” turrets like Thumper Turret.
- Repair bug “The bonus range granted by Rifled Turret Barrels is removed from a turret’s regular attack if the turret is overcharged.”
- Elite Supplies – move to adept tier. Summoned Turrets now are efected by traits.
- !!! Add new Tools Master Trait: Upgraded Cogwheels – reduce cooldown turret’s overcharges by 20 %. Turret overcharges are now instant. (Turret auto attack reset in the moment of activating overcharge)
- Deployable Turrets -Turrets use ground targeting, picking up turrets now decrease their cooldown by 40 % .

Guardian’s spirit weapons are also crappy and buggy…

Turrets are basicly the worst skills in engineer setup… and Arena nerfed them when they added “turrets now attack players target”.
Remove bleeding from rifle turret and burning from rocket turret even more decreased their damage output.
The only “usefull turret” (compared to rest of engineer skills) is Healing turret but when it’s used in the way which doesnt “fit” to the turrets.
Place turret -> overcharge -> blast -> destroy turret…
Is that realy how turret should work ? In my opinion it should be steady amount of healing with possibility to burst heal…
Turrets from Supply Crate stands only for 60 seconds so we dont have “typical” summon elite like rest of the classes have (Nature spirit, Flesh Golem, Elemental).
Turrets are stationary and … they deal less damage than necromancer minnions (which leechs life to their master, removes conditions from nearby allies , removes boons from enemies and MOVES!).
Even the attack speed on them is bugged…
So there’s the question: Can we dream about Turret buff ? … Or another nerf…
That sniper kit should be rifle in Thief equipment in my opinion.
Engineer doesn’t fit to be “stealthy”, he comes in, do blasts , explosions, etc.
And remember! Cool guys don’t look at explosions

- Blood fiend auto attack doesnt scale from healing like tooltip says
- All tooltips have wrong information with damages
- Flesh wurm is weakest minion (in terms of dps and damage), only helps that it’s ranged
- ToM is most usefull on high damage minions, also buffs their active skills damage, should be moved to adept line.
- Nowadays 0/0/30/30/0 is easiest and most usefull core to minionmancer, 20/0/20/30/0 for more burst
- Minions actually better than other summons (spirit weapons, turrets, elementals) but in my opinion worse than ranger spirits. Minions are usefull becouse of many utility traits which other summons lack.
- Minions and all summons scale from: Condition damage, Condition durration and boon durration.
- Minions can crit but it doesn’t scale from players cricital chance (Furry works with them)
- Life leech shlould heal minions too.
