The problem isn’t existing classes but meta builds.
Celestial is little overpowered ATM.
Cripple is now little underpowered, and doesn’t bring much to the fight.
My idea is simple simply make it additionaly to existing slow, reduce endurance regeneration by 25%.
- Cripple – movement speed is decrased by 50%, -25% Endurance regeneration.
What are you thinking about it ?

Deffinitly fits specialization for engineer. It’s like synonym to Engineer proffesion, and specialization is like synonim to base class. Same, yet different.
Although they never explicitly said this, they made it sound like they will be locked, and unchangeable, but there will be loads of different legends to cater for loads of different styles.
From all speculations there will be 4 Legends for revenant. There are 3 Traitlines: one for Mallyx, second for dwarf and third is profesion mechanism. So it’s obvious that last 2 Traitlines are made for another 2 Legends (offensive and healing).
Noone knows how it will work, but you wil deffinitly can swap some skills from 6-0 becouse even on stream there was little arrow above them which is for changing skills in other classes

It’s 50 energy, and you can taunt only on Dwarf stance.
So at best it’s 6 seconds + 6 seconds (when started from 100% energy) 12 seconds of having agro on yourself. Next 18 seconds (in wait for energy) you will spend auto-attacking becouse you will spend whole energy on taunting.
Is it “viable” tanking ? No it isnt. For price of having less than 50% of mob agro, you will just stand and do nothing (every skill except auto attack cost energy).
It’s bad idea.
Granades compared to all ranged skills have:
- Huge arc
- Long flight time
If you made them non-targeted skill, you will miss everything that is moveing.
Also granades explode on impact with the ground, targeting system locks aim on middle of the player, so when you will throw grenades on enemy face most of them will explode behind him doing 0 damage.
Also with target locking cames firing on enemies that are in front of you. Ground-targeting allows you to throw granades in 360 degree arc, this makes them very good skill for both PvE and PvP.

I’ve just test my theory.
Results ? Hybrid builds (which deal both physical and conditions) have higher priority in mob’s aggro than pure builds.
Meta engineer with granade kit inflict tons of various conditions and this couse that aggro.
Try to shorbow ranger in zerk gear on meta events ^^ Every champion will fallow you not forty man zerg.
Why waste resources to make tons of skins to “new weapons” like crossbows, greataxes etc.
To me it’s better to make all classes use more of existing ones (like specializations).
At example give engineer : Hammer, Mace (of hand also), Torch, Axe (of hand also).
Adding new weapon type to the game comes with huge costs of developing them.

Naah. Ranger are the longest range fighters with ranged weapons.
In dungeons you must keep close to the rest of the team to get might’s and boons from them. Also sword has better overall dps than Longbow.
It would be bad if melee would be worse than ranged, there would be no point to not stick ranged combat all the time.
But in open world PvE, leveling, PvP and WvW scenario your longbow is absolute monster.
If you build yourself into burst spec, you can spike targets/another players in 2 seconds. (see atachment)
tldr;
In dungeons stick to sword, in other use what you like

Bombs + Elixir gun + Healing turret + regeneration can heal sick ammount of health per second.
One you remove conditions with Healing Turret, Flumigate (5 condi removal per 12 sec.), Super elixir.
Two you have Huge burst heal of blasting healing turret *3.
Three you have heal from every tick of bomb (fire bomb, smoke bomb, glue bomb ticks 4 times), super elixir, perm regeneration. It about 400+337+370= 1100 hp per second. Amount of heal per second can double or even more if you keep spamming with all bombs.
Numbers can be even more absurd if you go PvE with apothecary gear.
So even now if you want to be a healer, you can! But don’t expect to do much damage.
The other part is that GW2 healing builds doesn’t work good becouse of spike damages.

This skill is terrible anyway, so why not make it turret ^^.
But in otherhand I wouldn’t like buffing it.
Just let’s make it shoot every 3 seconds and overcharge will be number 5’th skill.
Mortar has huge AoE range and this is it’s strenght. Let it be “teamfight” turret, which is bad in 1v1 scenario but gains in teamfights.
Pasive stability would be to OP in PvP, hmm let it give aegis every 16-18 seconds.
Also to not make turreter to powerfull braindead let mortar keep it’s “minimal range”. People will have to think to where place it to have minimal shooting range in other hand is in range of giving buff to players. Turret engi is strong enough, don’t make it more powerfull.
Also it would be nice to Frocefull explosions increase explosion range of turret detonate, rocket turret attacks and mortar attack.

You don’t even imagine what gem price rise would be after “release” expansion on the Black Trading Company. From ~110 gold per 800 gem you would have to pay over 200g-250g or even more.
Imagine that inflation. That would ruin economy becouse everybuddy will farm gold to buy gems to buy expansion.

So I’ve asked myself how to fix mortar skill. In fact that’s realy easy.
Let’s make Mortar somewhat close to Lich Form.
- Allow mortar to perform a critical hit
- Mortar is now summoned for 20 seconds
- Increases precision by 910 like Lich form, but doesn’t increase Vitality
And it’s fixed.
Let’s make smal comparision with Lich Form with mortar after this fix now:
- Damage: Lich’s auto-attack 2120dmg 0,85s cast , Mortar auto-attack 2,700dmg(traited) 1,70s cast (double , ouch)
- Range Lich: 1200, piercing, Mortar: 1500 traited , 180 AoE very slow projectile
- Surviability: Lich: Bonus 910 Vitality + Full Condi AoE Transfer 20 sec stability, Mortar: Immobilized, 1sec of stability every sec, 0 bonus stats, but you can leave it heal yourself and get back.
- Cooldown: Both 180s
- Duration : Both 180s
So why Mortar would be compareable to Necro’s Lich form ? Becouse of AoE efects and range, much slower but hit’s harder. Perfect addition to zerk granadier like Lich to Powershroud.

Descriptoin:.WvW and PvP, PvE doesn’t lag at all (except Fractals, only fractals). Instead of typical skill delay which is normal lag it’s masive up to minute lag spikes. Strange thing is that chat is working good, but everything else is lagged.

Just make mortar deal more damage like Lich Form. It is very slow and unmobile but it’s AoE – Fair trade.
Coz now mortar deals less damage than granade auto-spam which is absurd.
This will make mortar absulutly usefull elite both in PvE, PvP and WvW

Granades are throwed in the lob , not in the straight line like underwater.
So it’s impossible to make them working auto-attacks.
Have’ing no aim controll makes it REALY easy to dodge simply by move’ing from right to left, but when you have control (like now) you can predict enemy movement and throw in front of enemy next moveing goal.
So my answer to auto-attack is: Deffinitly not and impossible.
Try to imagine what hapends at 1500 range, it isn’t longbow, granades are slooooow projectiles and lobbed.

The problem is mesmer can kite that’s all.
In “real” pvp matches there’s no time for fighting off point so kitting mesmer = useless mesmer.
They are not OP, I wouldn’t even categorize them into “strong” class. Thing that saves them are portal and stealth which are amaizing utility skills.

Engie has the hardest DPS rotation in the game so any of the Axe warriors won’t switch to the engineer. To remember and do perfect rotation you need TONS and TONS of practice. As people say we are on 6/6/0/0/2 MA spec. Rotation is:
BoB -> Fire Bomb -> Granade Barrage -> Throw minex2 -> Minefieldx2 -> Blundersbuss -> Jumpshot -> Shrapnel Granade -> Freeze Granade -> 4x Granade -> Shrapnel -> 2x Granade -> Blundersbuss -> 2x Granade -> Shapnel Granage -> 3x Granade -> Mine Field x2 -> Blunderbuss -> Jump Shot -> Repeat
If S/D hammer ele thought their rotation is hard they will quickly change their mind.

I think they will change ballance at the next feature update (Q4 2014).
Now they can’t make larger ballance changes becouse of ToL.
You can’t change ballance in middle of tournament.
What’s your opinion about summon builds place/role in competetive PvP.

Guardian Spirit weapons need more traits to change their role. Like new 2 traits to engineer turrets and now they are awsome on PvP.
Wearing heavy armor also means that you are heavier.
Heavier you are, heavier you fall… and stand up.
As elite survival skill it would be sweet
Here’s my opinion. I’ve been playing Turret Engineer on sPvP from about the month and it’s beast.
How to tweak Damage:

- Add 6 seconds of cooldown to the trait
- Reduce the pushback effect (300 -> 250)
How to tweak Rifled Turret Barrels:

- Increase damage buff (15% -> 25%)
- Now reduces cooldown of overcharges by 20%
Fortified Turrets are in good place.

Hello.
I have an iteresting idea to tweak summons in all of the game modes.
So here is list of actual summons:
- Elementals (Elementalist)
- Spirit Weapons (Guardian)
- Minions (Necromancer)
- Fellow Thieves (Thief)
(Mesmer’s clones and phantasms skipped becouse they are working in good way)
Problem:
Summons deal damage same damage, no matter of player stats.
- Hey, isn’t that great ?
Actually in some part this is great, in other part it’s bad. Why ?
Let’s take a look at 2 player’s:
1. Jake is Necromancer Minionmancer with maximum possible deffence stats (Healing Power, Vitality, Toughnes). He doesn’t deal much damage at all, but his little helpers (minions) deal nice dps while he is hard do kill.
Effect: Full bunker build deal “big” damage.
2. Kate is also Necromancerer Minionmancer but she played lot’s of pve and she love’s to wear berserker amulet. In PvE her minions doesn’t deal much damage so she must swap it to another build. In PvP she deals real nice damage by her own, but minions can’t critical hit so lots of her stats is wasted. Additionaly enemy quickly understands that she has less surviability than her summons -> She’s being targeted.
Effect: Full “glass cannon” deals less damage than she should be.
Ok so how to fix it ?
My idea is simply:
- Reduce damage of all summons by 20%
- Make summons scale from player’s Precision and Ferocity -> Let them critical hit
This will nerf the very bunkerish summonners and buff some more offensive ones.

Have’ing engineer with 2 weapon sets is pure madnes.
Imagine Riffle CC + CC from shield.
Engineer would be OP and that class doesn’t have much weapons to pick, so all builds will be pistol/rifle. It’s not the fix, it’s stupidity.
Stupid idea.
Granades requaire aim to use it, learn it or don’t use it.
If you can’t aim, granades aren’t for you.
My answer to that sugestion: DEFFINITLY NO
(non-aim granades would be OP as kitten at melee range)
1. AED works only in the moment when you are going into downed state. Within 5 seconds of activating AED your base HP (not downed state hp) must fall down to 0, instead of going into downed state you will be healed. Does work when you have red death pentally but doesnt work with falling damage.
2. It activates when you are at 25% hp (or lower), so try to keep above that 25% and then when you are out of heals it will be activated at that percentage. Yes it actives even you have heal off cooldown. You mean this trait ? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Self-Regulating_Defenses
3. Both player and allies.
4. They will activate all at once. Later it depends on trait cooldown.
5. As far as i know, yes.
6. It transfers only ONE condition every 15 seconds in the moment of their placing. At example it will convert 6 bleed from pinshot (coz that skill applies 6 bleed at once) and any other condition (bleed also won’t be converted) next 15 seconds.
