Theftwind, actually, after we took your Bay and Garrison, we were tired and all going to bed. The golems were a spur of the moment thing, and after Bay and Garri, we parked them, where they probably despawned.

Nah, I am not complaining, it’s going to happen whether we want it to or not. Our server has been accused of it A LOT (i.e. IoJ/DH threads).

[Abys] decided to take a little break from PvE night and paint the town red.

Personally, I rather like NSP, and was glad to see us matched up with them again. Last night, I swear every corner we went around, there they were!
NSP has been the least whiniest of all the servers we have gone against.

For one, I apologize for my server laughing, but it was only one person. Don’t say “DH” as in we all do it. The guilds around your body are small ones, so don’t take it to heart. Every server has the spamming emoters, maybe you should just unclick the emote box if it really bothers you that much?
My chat box was full of DR and IoJ spamming every emote but “kneel” last night in DH BL…..

We have our core guild Seventh Abyss, and our WvW guild Seven Sins of Abyss. Same founder/leader and same people from the core guild belong to both, but some people in the WvW guild are not in the core guild. Sorry if that was confusing LOL.

Is everyone else getting AoE lag, AC red circle lag and invisible siege???

Next time someone sees Princess Snuffles running an [Abys] tag, could you look at the name of the guild and see what it says? Ours are “Seven Sins of Abyss” (WvW) and “Seventh Abyss” (PvE).

That IS strange! I am a member of both [Abys] guilds, and I have never seen her before!
When we got on the map last night, we noticed her commanding and not killing any IoJ that she saw. We just went without comm. tags for a while. When I asked her about her two IoJ guilds, she called me a “meanie.” Haha!
She has to be a regular player, because she is lvl 80, has a commander tag, knew what she was talking about with a thief, and had a title. Not sure, seems to be a mystery for the most part!

The only necros I can think of are Magast (Nudd) and Clover, who run with us sometimes. Male or female character?
We got a whole bunch of new people recently in the WvW guild, so there might be a new one I don’t know about.

I heard one of their big guilds got banned for hacking. >.<

I am looking forward to the next matchup also! I feel terrible for FC being put in this matchup this week, it shouldn’t have happened. >.<

IoJ, you know we have a love/hate relationship, but I hope we don’t get paired up for a while.
DH, I hope we get up somewhere where the scores are close, like the last couple of weeks. Admit, you all love the adrenaline of logging on and seeing a 40-100 PPT lead! But then again, I think more content is coming out, so that is going to do more harm than good.

Dude, the first time we came to Garri, or the second? I have never been hit by so many AC’s and ballistas in this game. How many did you guys have?!?!?! Then capping in the Lords Room, and still getting pelted by arrows. >.< My poor little Asuran body couldn’t handle any more, so I had to log.

Have fun capping everything tonight, I noticed you already have a head start on EB.

BTW, it does take skill to take a fully fortified keep from someone who has the advantage.

One person placing AC’s is not the reason we win.

when that AC is used to destroy all inner siege defending a keep, then yes, it is the reason you win. You see DH is so insistent on running karma traints 24/7 with they’re 50+ man zergs and yet they have to exploit to turn everything paper so they can flip it whenever they want allowing them to maintain a 300-400+ ppt for 8-10 hours a day.

TL;DR
basically exploiting is the only reason I’ve ever seen Abys manage to take a fully defended keep. And it’s one of the main reason DH has managed to stay in the lead.

Hmmmm, my group hardly ever uses AC’s, unless we are defending a tower/keep. I very, VERY rarely go into EB (too much lag and dc), so no, AC hacks are NOT the reason we are in the lead. I guarantee the group I run with in the borderlands has a little to do with the PPT…..

Yeah, we have numbers (haven’t always), would you rather us run around in 50, 5-10 man groups? Might as well have a zerg with that population, super map coverage. Sometimes you just can’t help it, there are commanders who the pugs will flock to. IoJ has a great Oceanic presence, but I don’t see many complaints about that.

Every time I log on, I feel sorry for FC, because they should not be stuck in this match-up (we were there a few months ago when I started playing). BUT, to the FC who are hanging in there and fighting back, kudos to you! There aren’t many of you, but you hold your own as well as you can, and don’t run away to cry on the forums when we do meet up.

You mean the 10 of us that held hills for four hours last night against your [SE] + pug group? The 10 of us that were split between defending our yaks, water and stargrove, whilst you guys kept trying new things to get the walls/gates down? Not to mention the time when four of us hopped over to IoJ to stop that first attempt at bay, and organised the push on your guys. Seriously? Golems, catapults, trebs and rams were all destroyed. I truly hope you’re the commander I punted off the edge with my GS 5, because you truly deserve it. That was a terrible offensive.

Picture related is what finally managed to get through to inner, but sadly it doesn’t do it justice. DH was also attacking us from the west gate, and we just didn’t have enough to spot the treb they also tactically constructed at the southern part of hills. I’m sure if we had gotten that first shot off, the whole picture would have changed. Props, however, to the FURY thief that I have targeted in that picture – that’s some nice siege placement, and it had us all raging. :P

Also, what’s all this talk about an alliance? Red name, fair game. No one guild or person can act on behalf of the whole server.

Yeah, we were in FC, hardly saw a soul and were kind of disappointed. I can’t speak for everyone, but I personally would rather have an open field battle with equal numbers, than one server rolling over another server, that’s no fun.

Fought a necro outside DH BL Workshop (by Bay) camp tonight, and I wanted to say thanks!!! I don’t remember the guild, I am so tired! That was my first 1v1, and I recently put a new build and armor on my thief.

Sorry I had to come into the camp and kill you after you killed me, but we need that camp. >.<

Nah, that’s just due to a coverage difference between us and the other two servers. It has been happening pretty much every day. You can also look at Kaineng’s previous matches and see their point spikes at ~6am in those too.

Maybe for PD, but I know that part of our guild has been MIA for the week.

Yeah, new content is so frustrating for DH WvW-er’s. We lose too many people.

Kain, of course you took our BL, it was about 1:30 am PST (server time) and that’s when most of us log off. You had a huge zerg with golems take Hills, Bay and then I am sure Garri too (I had to go to bed, kid gets up early), and there were maybe 10-15 of us. Not much we can do. Ah well, we have still had a good time fighting this week, see you on the field!

To be fair, we held it for well over 6 hours straight while on nearly constant attack. Over half the time while flying the outmanned status. I’d still say it was a good performance.
