I find that the character models gets stuck in a pose if got interrupted in some ways during an animation but only some of the time
like if I am downed and am using life leech (necro) and rally unexpectedly my character ends up stuck in a strange pose
always seem to be able to get out of it by sheathing or dodging
I’ve seen the pact staff on some characters looking like it is positions too high up when sheathed and when I preview the staff it appears that way as well
wonder if they have to do with the Mursaat to some degree, requiring infused gear be more effective against
correct, failing an event does not count even though you get a small reward
I thought it was just the quality slider but with a bit more testing it looks like I can avoid the bug completely by moving the mixing buffer size slider all the way to “most stable”
I never getting it then, even with sound at highest quality
can other people try this out?

only ever happened to me once
one thing that’s really been bothering me with world completion is WvW since certain worlds have no hope of doing well
For those worlds it should be possible since the world colours may change each match giving them access to the different areas however I have noticed for HoD we are rarely ever red (I think we were green for weeks, then red for one week and then blue for weeks)
I imagine you can’t have every world rotate colour each week since the match ups will change but on a world that is consistently losing each week it’s impossible to get world completion when we don’t change colour
(on a losing world you also pretty much have to be in WvW on the day it “resets” to get areas before they are lost to another world)
the reason why the game has zones is because each is it’s own instance so it would be pretty challenging to have it seamless
I noticed that while I am activating Signet of Spite my staff disappears
I believe it will take the status from the stats you’ve picked but it would be nice to take the highest status of the items transmuted (at least when both are exotic or greater)
on a side note I would like it to also retain the status text rather than just saying “transmuted” thought that’s more cosmetic than anything else or would people confuse it with the rare item?
this just doesn’t work for all armor sets but maybe they could have some variety of guild armor skins
@Mojo, when putting things into a bank why would you want your small venom sacs to take up 2 slots rather than 1?
Anyway I think this thread needs to stay alive. Even in the reduced form Mojo suggests it’s a must in my opinion.
just from a usability perspective I don’t want to ever drag an item to a bank slot and not know where it went, so rather than be automatic it should be optional (most flexible approach seems to be contextual to me)
Why would you not just right click and deposit all collectibles? It goes in one slot and does not effect crafting. Whether you put it on your bank or the collectible area. You can still use it for crafting.
this is probably more for non-collectables like rare crafting materials, potions, tonics, and other items that stack but aren’t collectables
I like the idea of having more variety of backpack appearances
I love the Mad Memories, the look is perfect for a necromancer imo
don’t like things automatically stacking when you drag across, how about instead we can right click > deposit which automatically puts the item in the first appropriate stack
or a compact option like you get with the inventory
that’s why it is in the suggestions section

I’m actually pretty glad my main is a necromancer wearing the shadow set dyed black, now I should be able to get a staff to match
I enjoy the dungeons but the tokens a bit off, I feel that it would be more rewarding if you got a small amount of tokens for partial completion and that completing all the different paths should have a reasonable reward, I understand that you have to earn the tokens for the armor for it to be meaningful but if you go to the trouble of completing all the different paths you should have something to show for it
happens with a lot of objects actually, a temporary solution is to keep moving as you attack
400 tokens for the potion recipe is a bit much and if you were to craft the potion you might be disappointed, I can craft other extended potions but they’ve lasted 1 hour which I believe it how long powerful potions last
also the extended potions I’ve seen all say 2m in the description, I’m guessing that they are supposed to last 2 hours
actually the text is pixelated at any UI size but most notably on the small size
for me this seems to be directly tied to the incredibly poor performance when there are large numbers of players in an area
and I only seem get the issue when my sound was set to highest quality
I’ve noticed that objects in general often can’t be hit with projectiles (sometimes says out of range, sometimes says obstructed)
melee are affected as well but instead they miss unless attacked while moving, sometimes they don’t have this issue if they find the right spot to attack from
seems none of these occur with some specific objects like the very first burrow you encounter in AC explorable mode so I am lead to believe that it’s a matter of where the actual location (or “hit box” if you prefer) of the object is configured to be or something like that
it is counting your sPvP armor as well
ha, sounds like that debuff shouldn’t be transferable
it was in one of the patch notes but I do agree it should have an error message to explain what happened
often I don’t get the option to invite to party or to join party while sometimes I get the option to invite but it doesn’t work
when it’s not working I can manually type in their character name into the party panel (P) but it seems “invite” doesn’t work when they are in a party while “join” does, why are these separate?
also a small suggestion on the party system, can we see the character details of pending invitations?
in what way is it not working? if you have the wrong type it will not allow you to drag the item in, if you have one of the items equipped it will do nothing when you transmute
well maybe not directly related to hom but a skin item like that which you can acquire as many times as you want, should make that choice so much more significant if you could keep the appearance throughout without consuming transmutation stones
feel free to list any other items that have this “starter-only” limitation. and hopefully anet will fix them.
quite a lot of them probably, as necro you get a choice of three different facepaint but I don’t think you can get facepaint items from anywhere else
does “return to sender” work?
confused me for ages too since it wasn’t like that in the betas
I’m definitely get back health from Parasitic Bond, about 200-ish when I kill something in higher level areas
the pvp items should allow for preview as they aren’t transmutations
some jewels and gemstones should work, for instance I upgraded mine with an Exquisite Sapphire Jewel
I believe, like with karma, this is suppose to represent your own progress, if you want a skin you better be interested in doing the related dungeon
a better idea may be to have more things to buy with the tokens that might be interesting to people who are not trying to get armor or weapons

had an on and off issue for awhile now where sometimes I noticed I’m not considered in the guild so I try to unrepresent at which point I can’t represent any guild
my sylvari warrior has his speargun always holstered at the wrong position and angle
doesn’t seem to happen with all speargun models

My experience with Greater Marks is that Mark of Blood does increase in size but the trigger does not while Chilblains doesn’t increase in size but the trigger does (Chilblains triggers early when someone walks near it)
The problem with Chilblains in particular is a good reason to avoid this trait for now, also someone mentioned somewhere that none of the marks actually become unblockable
- Vampiric (siphon health when attacking) only returns 25 health per hit. Don’t worry though, you can trait for 50% more return when siphoning health and it increases to 29 health per hit.
it’s very unclear what the Bloodthirst is actually supposed to apply too but what I would add is that Vampiric doesn’t even apply to staff attacks (Necrotic Grasp)
So far we have found that,
- All “more damage” traits never applies to condition damage
think this might intentional to avoid crazy amounts of stacking
for instance “marks do more damage” is referring to the damage done when the mark is triggered and not the damaged of the conditions from the mark

it would be nice to have a shorthand where I could drag an item onto a party member in the party UI which composes (but not sends) a mail to them with the item attached
really minor but in dialogue cutscenes, while I recognize that they are setup with a bright light on the character on the left side (hence the intense glare), my character actually looks more pale than he should and the eyes (dark green) are a lot lighter
that makes me think of warhammer 40k actually

it’s odd though with the keys, I world have sworn they dropped reasonably often in the betas and in the first few days of launch even but as it stand now I have 26 chests and haven’t seen a single key in days and the last few keys I’ve gotten were rewards from unrepeatable tasks like personal story and map completion
happens to me every now and then, need to move a bit away from where I was in combat for it to work
I seem to often not be able to join a party and I can’t see why, in particular this is what happened to me tonight
I saw in map chat someone looking for more for a dungeon but don’t get the option to invite when I right-click on a name in map chat and when I type the character name into the invite panel it does nothing
so I asked them to invite me and they just reply saying they don’t see the option
I’m not in a party at the time so it’s not like there isn’t room but maybe the game thinks that I am in a party already
also I don’t seem to ever see the “invite to party” option when right-clicking on a name in map chat, is there some reason for that or is it a bug?
