I play exactly the same way that you play, I take my time and I discover things by myself. I listen to every npc, I read dialogue and I don’t skip any cutscenes. I’m having a blast
!
I didn’t knew that it had so much negativity until I came to see the forums… lol, but I should have expected it, shame on me.

My lvl 80 engineer
Still got the helmet, pants and shoes to change!
My brother has his character named Smiling Poop
TL;DR
So my question is thus: What is there to do at level 80 for someone interested in PvE? Dungeons and DE’s are nothing more than an easy grind for useless gear, crafting can be a bit interesting but ultimately is the same grind for useless gear, and exploring the world is fun for a while but becomes repetitive quickly (if I wanted to enjoy beautiful landscapes I would play Skyrim).
If I understood you, you are not caring about the rewards, but only the dungeon/raid itself and the amount of fun that it gives.
Have you tried every explorable paths in dungeons? It is a easy grind, if you always choose the easiest path. If you want to enjoy difficult challenges and new content, tryout the other paths, they are actually hard.
Exemple: TA explorable, Path 2 Foward/foward was a big pain in the * the first time I did it with my unorganized group of friends. I’m pretty sure that the other dungeons have difficult paths, but i have not tried them yet. One of the concerns is it might be difficult to find people willing to choose the other paths, unless you play with some friends.
