This is a really cool idea, but a lot of stuff is out of place and most of it doesn’t make any sense. Your idea is REALLY good butt it needs fine tuning, for example, a lot of burst skills you suggested are either OP AS F*** or out of place (unnecessary conditions on power weapons like the confusion on the axe).

Why are you not working on ANet? T_T

I am unable to enter the instance to complete the prologue, (It NEEDS a restart button) it would be nice a Dev could teleport people into some instance. It has been 4 hours, and i can’t play the story on my main.

I bet the way they will ’’fix’’ Warrior/Berserker problems is just by adding more damage to random stuff. I don’t know why they keep nerfing warrior survivability when the real problem is damage, see rampage for example: it was OP, how they nerf it? reduce the duration not the damage.

And why they keep adding random designs that don’t work into the profession, no one use physical skills and what berserker give us? MORE physical skills. See Litany of Wrath for example, i NEVER saw any guardian running that healing skill, and they do? add the same skill to berserker. WHY?! And they will probably ’’fix’’ it by adding damage into the healing skill.

Plz, stop with this idea that warrior/berserker is a ball of meat and damage.

Condition Berserker is good, the problems on berserker come most from normal Warrior problems and the lack of survivability that berserker offers. Also the new rage (physical) skills are pretty much terrible and will never see any use.

In PvP, WvW condition Berserker is really strong, in PvE it might need some buffs.

Final thoughts on berserker (Most WvW roaming).

  • Discipline (fast hands) still mandatory for any melee build, and the berserker trait line does not offer anything to minimize that.
  • I was playing Mace/Torch Sword/Shield Condition berserker. Full dire with krait runes and it was really good. (But only in PvP, WvW because you can’t interrupt a boss or CC him to apply conditions in PvE).
  • I’ve tried a Sword/Torch LongBow burn build in PvE and, with a good rotation, i was able to maintain 8-12 stacks of burning, this with Dire gear and 0 precision.
  • The Burning on Torch 5 felt almost nothing (even with 100% burn duration). I was using it only for condition removal.
  • Wild Blow still clunky to use.

Suggestion to Blood Reckoning: Remake it, is really terrible. In order to get it to work you need: Berserker stance, to not get blinded, and last stand to not get CC’d to the ground while trying to heal. So you need to consume 3 cooldowns in order to get ONE heal and if you are fighting any stealth base profession, good luck. I would suggest to make it similar to Enchanted Daggers with a 20 sec cooldown, a flat heal and heals per hit.

If remaking it isn’t on the table at least remove the cast time, so you can combo it more easily.

Even more thoughts on Berserker.

  • Adrenal Health still doesn’t work properly on berserk mode, it only count as 1 bar of adrenaline.
  • Dead or Alive is pretty much useless (maybe add 33% heal efficiency on heals done by you on you while you are in berserker mode).

More thoughts on Berserker (most WvW roaming).

  • Berserker has 0 sustain so i’m forced to use stances and tanky gear (would be nice if when you are on berserker mode instead of adrenaline rage skills gave you health).
  • Condition berserker is really good (plz don’t nerf it).
  • Most of the rage skills will never see any use in any place (i can be wrong).
  • The Cooldown on berserker mode is a little high (maybe make it 10 sec base line).
  • Blood Reckoning is super massively terrible. (i would suggest to remake it).
  • Minor Bug: Sometimes when you enter berserker mode after using a burst skill you will find your primal burst skill on a 3 – 4 sec cooldown.

What builds were you running for condi berserker? I was trying defense/disc/bersk with mace+torch / sword+shield with perplexity runes. was quite fun^^

I’m using mace/torch sword/shield Berserker, Discipline and Strength. Full dire with krait runes and i was able to melt people really fast.

My thoughts on berserker WvW roaming.

Pros:
- Condition berserker is really good, (it will be nerfed, sadly).
- Synergise really well with Rousing Resilience.

Cons:
- Blood Reckoning is now more terrible, 25 sec cooldown is bad.
- Sundering Leap is really clunky.
- Rupturing Smash was good, now is terrible, 1 sec imob is almost nothing.
- Fatal Frenzy now has a THREE SECONDS SWIFTNESS, why? (maybe buff it to 10 sec).
- For most viable build, warrior still depends on discipline.

Overall berserker is feeling really good, i hope it doesn’t get too many nerfs.

Shield Bash Range.

Hello,

I’ve noticed that Shield Bash its supposed to move you 450 range, same as
Whirlwind Attack (both tooltips show 450 range). But in game, Whirlwind Attack moves you more than shield bash, which isn’t supposed to happen because both have the same range on the tooltip.

Is this a bug or the tooltip is wrong?

- Another viable heal that isn’t healing signet (maybe remove the cast time on defiant stance)(Blood Reckoning sucks).

Why cant we enter berserkmode without the need of adrenaline?

It already have a cooldown
Berserker mode have traits that trigger while entering berserkmode.. Those are now pretty bad designed because entering berserkmode is behind the need of 30 adrenaline.
Other classes dont even need to build something to get the elite spec stuff.. Like thief gets a free extra dodge and just maby get the dodgr stuuf for free without the need of a trait.

At the moment i still think it cost a full trailine just to get an f2 that only gives me weaker burst skills on a time gated./ even more adrenaline cost concept compared to the core specs.. Sure it cost less adrenaline while your in berserkmode.. But its for 15 sec.. In all tgat time i can just pull off the same amount of burst skills with core compared to elite.

Just make f2 a no adrenaline cost berserkmode.. (maby remove the adrenaline also while entering ofc). Make it usefull when you NEED it.. Now you always activate it because yeahbyou spend a traitline on it so why not activate it.. It still doesnt feels right.

I think the adrenaline cost is fine, it adds more player skill in order to get berserk mode to work, not just press a button and get everything and there is a lot of skills on warrior that give 30 adrenaline points + rage skills also give adrenaline.

One thing that might be cool is if you can activate berserk mode with 10 – 20 – 30 adrenaline points and with will give a respective duration 5s – 10s – 15s. That enable a lot of combo possibilities.

Hey Robert, one thing I was curious about was Sundering Leap, mainly that it seems to be a bit strong when compared to another skill, namely On My Mark. SL is a Leap finisher, damage, 10 Vuln for 6s, 6s Cripple, gives you 5 Adrenaline, and has a 25s CD (with no CD trait, but that’s totally fine, Rage skills have low CD by default) and all that’s in a decent AoE. Meanwhile OMM is a Shout with a 30s base CD (24s traited) that puts 10 Vuln on one target at 1200 Range for 10s, and that’s it. Is this something that could potentially cause OMM to be buffed (More Vuln and/or AoE effect?), would SL get nerfed, or working as intended? Mainly figuring that there’s no reason I’d take OMM while SL was an option to put on my bar.

This is a fair concern. With the previous round of testing we felt that Sundering Leap wasn’t offering enough for a skill that put you into the middle of a fight so we buffed it accordingly. It’s always possible that we went too far though and I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays in the next BWE. I think OMM still has a place in some builds though. The fact that its a shout gives it a place in builds running Vigorous Shouts. Additionally unlike Sundering Leap it’s also unblockable and instant so you can use in in the middle of other attacks without interrupting your flow.

Please let me know how you feel about this skill after the next BWE!

Why on my mark don’t apply revealed ? Makes total sense you are marking someone so they can’t stealth. Because nobody uses OMM, 10 vulnerability is pathetic, and there’s other classes that can apply vulnerability way better than warrior.

Suggestion:

Since warriors depend a LOT on getting fast hands, i would suggest to make Fatal Frenzy recharge the cooldown on your weapon swap and also remove the quickness since it doesn’t matter at all. For exemple:

Fatal Frenzy: Upon entering on berserk mode recharge the cooldown on weapon swap by 75%. (20s ICD)

Resistance and taunt bug.

hi, i’ve noticed that, if you have resistance and someone apply taunt on you at same time, and if taunt ends before the resistance ends, you will get a yellow name on your enemy’s head, meaning you can’t target them.
The bug will last until you or the person who apply the taunt die.
