I love the irony of a post like this. The tier is even due to the exact numbers they currently have. As soon as you look to move to an even tier, your going to be throwing out the numbers (sure one person might not make that much of a difference (though it might)) But as soon as you have a guild or more start moving, the tier is no longer even.

Always better to look for a tier where your move can make it even. That of course requires the individual/guild to look at the server’s that are not winning in a tier, and doing enough research to find out how many, in what timezone etc is needed to even up the tier.

I’m not stupid enough to believe my presence alone will change the ranking of a server.

I’m just trying to find better and more consistent competition.

You’re going to end up spending a lot of money if you transfer everytime tiers become unbalanced.

Tiers that are balanced now may not be in a month when one of the servers loses its spot.

Its not just the uneven tier that im stuck in, its my servers lack of population when im the most active. They can only break 200PPT when im asleep and the 2-3 zerg guilds we have start running.

Other than that small time window we get obliterated with no active commanders for hours at a time.

T1 and T2 both sound great.

Pretty tired of my current server. Either we obliterate the enemy team and they all leave the map, or the opposite happens. Id prefer a more even matchup.

Id like to avoid servers that are only populated in WvW at certain times of the day. If any exist.

Everyone starts out bad. You should be upset at the veteran commanders not showing up or helping the new commanders.

There’s that too. Haven’t seen quite a few since before reset. A whole lot of new ones though

It’s not like people who openly sneer at Commanders (“You just bought your tag anyway.”) who are trying to organize something. If there’s one last reason I flushed the idea of getting a tag (aside from the mountain of others) it’s that there’s a certain percentage who do not respect Commanders of any kind.

If you don’t have a strong attachment to your server, playing on one that coincides with your play time might be best.

GW2 should have WVW map capacity of 1×2 the lowest number of players. This way, at least the server w/ least number of people will have a fighting chance. But means more on queue. Remove the so called outmanned buff. ;3

I agree, but yeah that would cause queues for servers like Mag that are stuck fighting lower population servers all the time.

Maguuma has been going overboard with golems, and I am not a fan of it. But I haven’t seen us act as silly as SBI does with their golems. Their attempt at east keep yesterday morning was completely wasteful. “Golems, go! Did we get through the gate? There’s five arrow carts behind it and they’re repairing? Throw more golems? How about now? No? Throw the same amount of golems plus more. Now? MORE golems!”

You mean the same way that CD oceanic prime time outnumbers Maguuma’s? And when we tried to state that as a point when they vastly outnumbered us, we told to “play better” by CD. Can’t say that I I’m not sippin’ on my revenge wine right now.

I hate the oceanic presence. It keeps us in a tier we don’t belong in.

Every time we would find the hiding spot, they would disappear. Then another tower would be instant capped by golems.

This back and forth at Stonemist was totally worth losing it though. Racking up the badges today.

CD is too dependent on commanders to do anything. If there is no blue pin no one will ever show up.

Anyway, its been a good matchup. I’ve had a lot of fun against both servers.

2-3 hour siege to take Stonemist from Maguuma and they just walk right back in with no resistance.

This server really makes me sad sometimes. I was standing right on the entry point when they showed up, and gave everyone at least 10 minute warning in all borderlands. No one came.

I think we should have a LFG. I haven’t done a single dungeon because its so difficult to find groups that aren’t picky about every item you have and your build.

Not necessarily, trust me, I’ve been running Monte Carlo simulations on this stuff. Borlis Pass is taking the lead in Tier 5, and it’s only a matter of time before EB and DR lose motivation to play WvW and give BP massive point gain (+BP will gain lots of fair weather players). This launches BP into Tier 4, and the fair weather effect on SBI due to smashing Tier 5 will likely last long enough for them to overtake us soon, meaning CD will go to tier 5. That will make a CD/EB/DR match which will be extremely balanced, although they will likely still complain about night capping.

You’re relying on a lot of hypotheticals. The biggest one being that CD’s night presence is still enough to essentially lock you in this tier unless you lose all of esf/awe.

Our night presence is ridiculous. We push 300 points at night and are currently at somewhere around 60 at what should be prime time.

So many quitters. Theres like 20 total CD in WvW right now.

Hope its gone forever. Asian themed expansions are the worst. Nothing but ugly buildings and tons of really bad voice acting to match the budget martial arts movie feeling of the entire thing.

Sounds like the best answer. I was just looking for a way to make some gold, but it looks like id have to spend all mine to get invited.

If it is your first time entering, its definitely going to be daunting and possibly frustrating depending on who you enter with, especially if its a pug group of all first timers/inexperienced dungeon runners. You aren’t necessarily required to change gear/builds to make it through, but you are going to want to have the mindset that you just might have to switch a few traits and possibly get survivable gear to do the dungeon. Once you’ve gotten enough experience learning the dungeon, Gear / traits wont even matter. You’ve got to give yourself as much of an edge as you can since skill/experience is the most deciding factor of a successful dungeon run.

I have been focused mostly on WvW since i came back to the game. I have full exotic gear, but i run toughness on most of my accessory pieces.

Sounds like the aggro system doesn’t like you when you have toughness. I have no issues doing damage though.

Guess i just need to get lucky and find a group that isn’t so picky.

Because Arenanet is for whatever reason, so hard against an LFG in game for dungeons, someone made a website and it has become rather successful for LFG. The website is gw2lfg.com and for my group has produced great results for finding a member or two if we are short.

It looks like people only want zerker warriors, whatever that is. Im not changing my build and buying more gear to do a dungeon.

I never see anyone advertising for dungeons in town, and i don’t see a dungeon finder anywhere.

How do i find a group and does anyone even want a dps warrior?

Leveling tons of alts tends to kill my interest in a game after a few.
