I caught a wonderful bit of footage on my livestream acouple hours ago.

I and 4 others were on our way to JQ-BL north camp, we entered and started on the camp and was responded too by about 10 JQ players. We pulled back to the alter of power and i noticed the JQ players set up and build an AC at the base of the stairs for us.

Ladies and Gentlemen. I present to you the second DCN of SoR….though alot of context was not suitable for all ages especially the talks about bridges I kept as much as I could.

This video was made in loving memory of Diggins who recently passed away after being ambushed by the musical players of SoR on DCN.

While we may complain about this matchup being stagnant as hell, it is the most competitive WvW that we’re likely to get in its current stage. Think of map politics this way (presuming everyone plays for first);

JQ: Strong SEA/Mod NA/Weak EU/Weak OC (1 strong, one mod and 2 weak)
BG: Mod SEA/Mod NA/Mod EU/Mod OC (4 moderately pop’ed)
SoR: Mod SEA/Strong NA/Strong EU/Mod OC (2 strong, 2 moderate)

SEA: JQ comes out ahead, SoR and BG fight over ppt and is often a stalemate (JQ++)
NA: SoR comes out ahead, JQ and BG fight over ppt and is often a stalemate (SoR+)
EU: SoR comes out ahead, BG leeches JQ points (SoR++; JQ-, BG +)
OC: SoR and BG come out ahead, and both leech JQ points (JQ-; BG/SoR +)

On paper SoR should always win via coverage, BG coming in second and JQ last – why is this never the case, well its to do with server politics. Its in JQs best interest to buddy up with either side because in that way JQ has less points that are leeched off by either BG or SoR (in oceanic for BG, EU/NA for SoR) – they have used this strat ever since the ET/HoD days where JQ would double team ET so that JQ would get a guaranteed 1st or 2nd place.

In a three way there is always a server that in reality is stronger than coverage than JQ but you have to give them credit, they are good at the politics game. Also it doesn’t hurt that BG and SoR generally don’t play nice to turn the tables back on JQ.

SoR Drunks: Raging Strong, a Server made for alcoholics and crazy party goers. Unmatched by any in all timezones.

In all seriousness though, I have heard rumors of Anet working on a GvG style’d area for the gvg scene. However those are just rumors. They do realize how big the scene is getting as I remember showing several anet players the gvg videos and also hearing them tell others they were noticing it and wanting to work on it.

If we do put Orbs back I suggest that they be put back in a way that wouldn’t affect the GvG scene if Anet does not make us our own area to compete in.

I just killed a few SoR on TC BL, at their supply camp, about 10m ago… I wonder how many guilds I just solo’d.

You kitten talk enough about TW being unable to fight without map blobs. I merely posted a video of us doing it without map blobs. There is no BT in the video because sadly I can’t record something that runs faster then me.

It’s common sense that your enemy will appear as if they had more numbers than you. So it’s not surprising that BT and TW each think their opponent is fielding 50+.

Instead of pointing fingers, why doesn’t BT just GvG TW with equal numbers? Until then, any claim that BT is better than TW is just a laughing stock.

I haven’t seen any claims that BT is “better” than TW. What I’ve seen is chest thumping from TW forum members pretty much enticing a response from BT, which they got. Don’t try to revive this conversation. :P

They are ticking 300 because they’ve logged from EU to NA held their T3 objectives meaning they can go on the offensive. It stays at 300 ppt because HiRE, TW et al can waypoint into a t3 keep or continue to push a map zerg onto our paper keeps in our home bl / 1/2 offensive bls (usually) that is why it stays at 300 ppt, numbers isn’t everything in WvW, SoR can survive its apparently “weak” timezones due to having t3 with map zergs inside, but if you look at ppt today for example, SoR’s NA pushed into oceanic and held 300-400 ppt. SEA rocks round we flip all their wps and bring them down to 95 ppt but that doesn’t last long as we spent all sea getting them there then bang, EU hits our SEA logs out SoR’s ppt goes back to 250+ and BG+JQ do not have the forces to keep pressure up that SoR has through KISS, IRON, LUN, TW and their massive EST NA presence so that our BG PST logs in after 4-6 hours of SoR being able to t3 their bl and thirds ready for NA.

Also our NA fights bloody hard anyone calling them weak, I’d love to see you push back from SoR’s EU/EST domination on days that HB/RK do not raid, SoR can’t deny that from EST NA they have all their maps covered. BT is our only 100% EST NA guild.

You aren’t making any legitimate point besides the fact that your SEA is weak. BG is outmanned during EU. So, yes, I am definitely comparing the two time-zones. You are pretty much exaggerating the difference.

You are queuing 4 maps when the server primetime audience is sleeping and working.

You are currently dominating EU primetime.

Your false equivalency is false and the numbers are showing it.

BG can kitten and moan (while they are winning) but you have stacked SEA so badly there is no chance of any balance, SOR would need 2-3 large guilds to match it.

Taking that last guild from JQ after you gave SOR grief about KISS not choosing JQ is just comical. You realize that is the same as SOR taking in one of JQ’s main NA guilds?

I’m not going to pretend that we don’t have decent coverage during oceanic/sea time zone… (also still in favor of trying to get everyone partner up to compare numbers :P lol)

On a side note,
