Why would you want that when you’re in MERC?

We only use carts when we’re outnumbered 2:1 or if we’re not on the map. Everyone uses carts, get over it – its just a disappointing change in the meta.

Eh yesterday morning you outnumbered a small zerg which you considered an Iron zerg because the commander was an Iron commander (despite the zerg being mostly us PuGs) and used ACs to defend multiple choke points while outnumbering that zerg 2:1.

But you do have a point. Everyone does use ACs. It’s just a dang shame that ArenaNet thinks they’re helping WvW. All they do is give baddies a chance. It doesn’t seem all that bad, but it doesn’t encourage people to defend objectives with tactics besides the placement of a siege weapon. The game should encourage you to get better, not reward you by sitting in a safe area on a wall shooting down on a big amount of players with an overpowered, easy to obtain piece of garbage.

To balance this new overpowered AC crap, ArenaNet should make those things have a limited amount of ammunition, or require much more supply than 30/40.

Nope, I don’t think it is rude at all. Some of the AC placement you used tonight was actually pretty ingenious. I personally think that anything the ANET intends you to do is fair game. This is war after all, not the Olympics.

Just making the point, again, that people come here thinking their server is the special snow flake that is different from everyone else (e.g. my server doesn’t PvDoor, Zerg, drop AC’s. 2v1. blah blah blah) and its amusing to bust their little bubble.

It’s not a bad idea to drop Ac’s if you are massively outnumbered. Dropping them when even fights or you outnumber them then I can see that being annoying. Though it’s all part of the game now. Everyone needs to adjust to that.

For people who need a visual on what TW means when they use terms like massively outnumbered.

It’s good thing both sides were pretty even or close to during that fight or else your post might actually make sense. We both had huge zergs by that time and at the time that picture was taken, I believe you had some of your force was still coming back from respawn.

I did say that we gained huge numbers to push you guys out of north camp towards the end so I’m not sure what you are on about.

How is US t1 now?. Any guilds actually running in 20-30 man or is it all on 1 commander 24/7 60-100 man blobs all week?. Making usual excuse for being bad its not gvg its wvw… From reading first few pages seems fair few guilds interested in some GvG. How are the EU hours?. How is the lag etc?.

Every server blobs. It seems to be a curse for the NA servers in general though. Everyone wants to follow the commander they know will give them the loot bags so yeah….It’s a downside and I hope it actually stops at one point. As for the GvGs, not alot of guilds want to do GvG…well I should say there are quite a bit that are up for it in T1, but not nearly as many as EU has. TW has been trying to months to setup GvGs and while we have some guilds that step up to the plate we feel as if no one wants to do them in general except for a select few.

Watching is different from participation, you should know that preparing a gvg requires time and effort to get to form your team. Need everyone to be traited properly and geared properly. Thats where all the theory crafting comes in, some people love to experiment build synergies but this will take a lot of time to test.

For [TW] at least, we kinda just show up for the GvG’s with what we have online and skip all the technical schizzle bizzle. But that is how Indo developed TW to be.

I find that hard to believe considering Indo’s history. And when he played on JQ, he was literally JQ’s first commander pin and was considered to be one of the best strategists by the community at large back then. I call BS if you are saying you guys just “show up” for GvGs.

I don’t know about the rest of TW, but I spend 2-3 hrs in silent meditation thinking of my goals I hope to reach and how I want to fight and support my guild in the GvG.

The interesting thing is the guilds that just stated they don’t have any interest in GvG have their members flooding the area when GvG actually happens. The walls are usually lined with a good healthy population from each of the servers watching the GvG.

That is why we in Black Gate are stuck in a bad position.
Right now there are only 2 active Borderlands SoR and BG. So we will be hit by both SoR who now have the strongest EU and JQ who are hungry for scraps.

The thing JQ lacks are guilds willing to duke it out with a SoR zerg and they go for what is easy and SoR have no choice, but to go to BG.

Overall it is a small mater. If i am i am no longer sick in a few hours then i will come on and go after SoR like i always do. After all there is no fun in fighting some one who do not have more numbers.

JQ does not avoid fights with SoR. Reset night for example SF and friends took Their home map hoping Their N/A best was there. We cheered when we found TW in hills. We knew it was on…and some great fights were to be had for the rest of the night.

What happened? While I was working on inner hills about 10 minutes after reset, Blackgate ended up ignoring everything SoR…and coming into the hole i made in hills…and attacked JQ

Then kept attacking us for the next 2 hours while doing their best to ignore or avoid fights with SoR. In fact each time i figure i’ve given Blackgate enough of a beating and i switch to attacking SoR..you guys come right back for more and hit JQ

So forgive me when i laugh at you here for even making this post. And forgive me for making a point in flipping Blackgate’s garrison 3 times so far this week and everything else i see of yours paper because of your laughable tactics on reset night

Oh we’re posting about it to put others down? During the real fight, when we were playing our mains, you were under 50% most of the time and you never got me under 85%. I just couldnt take that last 10% off you before your heal came off cooldown. I’d say thats a win for me.

Interesting….I never once put you down about the fights. I even said the fights went well. I am however just quoting you on your warrior when you said it was really bad and that you only wanted to test run it. I in no way am bragging about it.

He meant siege on inner hills, not ACs on the outer walls. It was very obviously a zoom hack.

Well…either way it’s just a screenshot of an ac at bottom of stairs. If it showed them actually being hit then I would agree with you, however anyone can take a picture of an ac and call hacks.

lol, 10/10! I’m glad a no name guild can judge T1 realms after just transferring to a T1 server.

It seems he has great insight on the happenings of T1 already. I for one am proud too Hoots.

Good luck all and hopefully we have many bags filled by BG’s new transfers and many ranks gained as well.

“No one should ever be happy when a competitive guild disbands or stops playing. I was quite saddened when I found out Waha quit the game, not only was he one of the most honorable opponents I’ve played against(never once talking smack or making excuses) and he always fought back regardless of the result. He never backed down from a challenge and was probably one of the most intelligent commanders I’ve played the CvC meta game against. Not only is it a loss for JQ but it is a loss for anyone out there who has a competitive bone and loves challenges.

That being said, enough of the smack talk, I mean there are strong guilds on both sides and each server has it’s strengths and weaknesses. At the end of the day, we should all just care about competition.

And while people keep posting as they are from SoR, I’ve looked into a few of a posters and I can assure you they aren’t on our server. I don’t know why anyone would want to pose and try to besmirch another server like that, no one should feel any sense of accomplishment from any board but rather from your performance in game. And going back to my original point because I can’t stress it enough, anytime a competitive guild leaves the tier or one of the servers everyone loses, no one should ever play to that goal or wish it.

I blame majority of this attitude that people have on the game mechanics more than anything else but still we can change the attitude of our tier if we want it.

We were ready for them coming though, I was scouting garrison’s depot and saw the drop

I could post a video of how fast they dropped, but I mean….just disgusting for anyone and this is what wvw is like now though. It was almost sad seeing them melt so fast.

The omegas actually made it pretty far, got inner gate to 50. Normal golems on the other hand.. it just isn’t fair.

One of our mesmers mis-portaled us into the middle of the stairs basically….We lost so much hp there, we knew we had to move fast then…lol, but it was for fun good times.
