If you watch, I got bannered in that fight, the fight cut out for like 5 seconds and that was because I accidentally hit my fraps hotkey during my play. What WP rotation? Same location same area same exact spot I down’d in. Hills was contested in that fight as well.

This doesn’t show us dying, maybe retreating but I don’t see us being farmed.
You can’t farm your opponent if you can’t kill them. Anyone who watches this video carefully can clearly see most if not all of TWL/TW dying and returning from the hills WP.
You got maybe 5-10 kills per battle, that is not farming. Also I am glad you decided to use ghost tonics on the same day you cried about them.

Yes i understand what they did with the pots. But saying that you want to keep tighter trains means your MA should only have to use. not your entire group., only reason you are using them now is for the distinct visual advantage that it creates for some people not being able to see what class you are. I agree with why you have to use them,

Our casters don’t use Ghost tonic. It’s impossible, it comes off during combat. Everyone knows this.
Also asurians are also the hardest class too telegraph skills with as of their size. Which is why most spvpers are using an asurian model, because you can’t see what skills they’re casting clearly.

I guess there is only 1 way to tell the differance from a class….asurian or norn, it isnt that hard. Even with the pots its not hard for me, but for others it could create confusion.

No matter the case, if you feel your group needs to use pots to create some sort of cosmic connection between melee train and MA, more power too you guys and good luck. It was unfortunate that we were not able to meet in the middle to make this happen. Hopefully, calmer heads will prevale next time and we can meet and maybe we can get this settled on the gvg field.

Wearing a tonic skin is like wearing the same coloured jersey on a soccer field – easy identification. While the others are wearing a mish mash of colours, prone to confusing themselves even.

In GvG terms, it translates into the ease of consolidating your team members, and differentiating who are your enemies. Perhaps as people earlier stated, masking the class of the person?

The AC mage tonic looks visually striking so it is vastly easier to spot your team mates to squeeze a tight train.

For fairness, either have everyone use tonics, or strike it off completely.

Yes, actually. But food buffs are extremely common with those guilds who do GvGs, so its pretty much understood by all guilds who GvG that food buffs are permitted. These tonics though, are pretty rarely used by guilds that GvG, other than RG and other guilds who want to be like RG.

Cool video. Gotta say, I completely understand where TW is coming from. The tonics do give you some kind of advantage as it would be tough to see the different classes. However, I think TW should have stated it earlier.

I see it as a simple sacrifice, it seems like you were more worried about being focused down too fast. Little faith in your gameplay ability? Not a good thing.

HOD before the game was released the “titan alliance” set about to absorb guilds to cover all timezones for wvw pretty much making it so noone had a shot against them

JQ got alot of xfers to them when HOD broke up

SBI then recruited a few more guilds and there sea pushed well into EU

SOS then got alot of the bg transfers that left the server after there first drop outa t1 mix that with the ET guilds and Some hod FOE from et PRX hod

JQ then went ona mass recruit to beat sos

BG followed there example and mass recruited that with them having the only eu plus late sea pushing the eu time zone

SOR then followed to Counter BG’s sea/eu coverage

and that covers t1, altho for the most part t1 for the pass month has been the closes its ever been

now cut the bullkitten crying out JQ u have had ur shot twice now to change the state of t1 and u didnt. BG ur Sea along with ur EU pushed into that eu timzone ticking for 400-500 many times and now ur upset ppl recruit to counter ur PUshes ???

T1 has always been a tier of recruit to counter wut the other server is doing. JQ recruited to counter sos. BG then recruited SEA to counter JQ and seeing Bg had EU it made them Crazy strong. SOR then countered this by recruiting EU coverage

my guess is that in the coming weeks/months JQ or bg will mass recruit to counter SOR or one will implode(which i doubt) and TC or DB will get the bulk of there numbers creating another t1 server

It was the best gvg fight I’ve seen/experienced in NA so far. Each fight was one of the edge of your seat fights when we started the comeback. It was really well played by both sides.

Word is a couple of guilds on SoR aren’t too happy about TW’s transfer shenanigans. It isn’t helping the fact that some of those players already felt a little swindled by a false promise of good fights during the guild’s prime time.

Hopefully TW’s obsession with BG doesn’t destroy that #1 NA community. eek.

Actually small groups ganking stragglers is no different than zergs running over smaller groups. A small group is a zerg versus a single player. The numbers win so the small groups promote zergs teaching players that the strength lies in numbers. Personally, I only enjoy winning against the odds.

If RioT left idk what I would do….I wouldn’t have my favorite BG havoc squad to kill anymore. The disappointment would kill me.

yea i was in that fight, it wasn’t equal, u were more and yeah i agree its sad to see dropping AC’s at the drop of a hat, i simply stopped running with that group and moved to a different channel after i saw that.

am talking to AC use specifically, doesnt matter what server it is.. and i am not the only one who hates them more than anything in gw2.

It’s not a bad idea to drop Ac’s if you are massively outnumbered. Dropping them when even fights or you outnumber them then I can see that being annoying. Though it’s all part of the game now. Everyone needs to adjust to that.

For people who need a visual on what TW means when they use terms like massively outnumbered.

From your map I see 3 commander tags, a slew of green dot allies to the left of you and behind. If you want to fictionalize the numbers advantage, remember to remove the dots on your map before attachment……

Scroll above and read the post from the TW guy who was actually there about how the numbers were even and then ponder how you foolish you look….

I used the term “massively outnumbered” in regards to the fight that took place at the north camp in the archway. At the time that happened we were outnumbered, but we got a huge swell of player towards the end and managed to push out.
