If I remember Altruistic Healing heals for like 50-70 for each boon proc.
more or less.
and + to healing doesn’t give AH much of a boost. (but it does boost regeneration nicely, and with all 6 runes of dwana the regeneration boon procs off AH)
So usually the idea is to focus on generating more boons instead of healing gear.
but the healing gear from AC with vitality and precision seems good.

how can you think that he misunderstood something???
anyways … This is shocking News. Great find.
>.<
because he implies since vigorous precision only hits the guardian and not the allies that it doesn’t proc AH.
I am currently using clerics, but not because i think its an improvement over knights/berserker (because its deff NOT)
I am playing with the idea of a battlefield medic in WvW. Instead of always enguageing the enemy, i try to focus on res-ing fallen, and booning like crazy.
Clerics does not work for the traditional concept of crit>boon>AH proc.
I notice a huge difference when I have clerics on. I constantly have to generate my own boons instead of depending on the ones form empowering might.
Wait a sec, isn’t vigor from Vigorous Precision applied to you only and not to allies? I just tested it and it only gives it to me
you are correct about vigorous precision only applying to the guarding casting it, however I think you misunderstand the trait Altruistic Healing.
Altruistic Healing: Applying a boon to allies heals you.
Notes
Triggers healing for every boon applied. Applying area-of-effect boons will trigger healing for each ally affected (including yourself) and skills that apply boons repeatedly over time, such as symbols, will trigger healing with each pulse.
Skills that apply multiple stacks of might will trigger healing for each stack.
Synergizes well with traits and skills that rapidly reapply boons, such as symbols, Empowering Might, and Empower.
apparently you are your own ally.
trait-ing in radiance for crit certainly makes sense in a AH build…..
But I feel naked without 30 points in honor. +300 to your healing (for AH), +300 vitality, 2-handed mastery, Empowering might, Wrathful spirit, & Selfless Daring.
they all seem to have synergy with AH. I just try to get my precision from gear instead of traits.
I didn’t know pure of voice is bugged.
rune of the solider REMOVES one condition
pure of voice CONVERTS one condition to a boon.
Id think to two have no synergy, and seem like a bad idea to put together.
your rune of the pack has synergy with AH but there are better options than 5%.
rune of lyssa, and rune of dwana are two good choices for synergy with AH
OK, sorry for the double post but I tested it.
Wrathful spirit grants the guardian retaliation when aegis is consumed through a block AND when it expires from un-use.
this also works with Might of the Protector.
Might of the Protector: Gain might when you block attacks.
So with both you get 2 boons when Aegis is consumed or not used, but NOT if its removed.
On another note, I’m not sure its possible to actually dispel aegis since it’d probably Block whatever attack has the ripping effect.
Well they fixed Arcane Thievery in the 10/22 patch, but I don’t know about the others
Arcane Thievery This skill now appropriately removes the aegis boon rather than being blocked by it.
I was wondering about this. Because otherwise how would Pure of Heart work?
Pure of Heart: Aegis heals on removal.
key word being “removal”
wrathful spirit is worded like this: Aegis gives retaliation when it ends.
how is “ends” defined exactly?
after aegis triggers, accepts the block, and fades?
aegis duration ends?
my opponent dispels aegis?
the aegis eating monster pop up out of the depths and eats me?
all the above?
please help, thanx in advance.
I’ve seen this kinda behavior in other games like Aika, and Prius. Its no surprise it happens here too. Actually I’m kinda surprised it isn’t more common.
Any time you have a competitive pvp game you will see gamers do anything to win.
I Could be wrong, but your post to me feels like you are one of those that enjoy gaming with your friends all on vent and facerolling a bunch of randoms. If thats the case GW2 will never be like that. The good news is there are a bunch of games that allow such nonsense. league of legend, smite, loco, and smnc just to name a few.
If I am wrong then like the post above me said, man up and join free tournies. The tutorial describes free tournaments as “the way to get your feet wet”
