Really depends I played engineer up to level 35 but stopped. It got monotonous to play only having 3 weapons to choose from. The kits are nice and they also provide a sort of perma swiftness (perfect for wvw) but eles do it better. And though Engis have very unique utilities and skills almost none of them seem to really go well together. Overall I would go to theif but I would keep an eye out for engineer who knows I still pray they’ll just give us the freaking hammer for a decent meelee build :/
No, anything you apply that skin to becomes account bound. It requires 7 points in HoM to get that skin. Everyone starts off with 3 points just for linking accounts.
Getting the 4 points to unlock the staff skin isn’t too difficult …
The only problem is I’ve never played not bought gw1 and would rather save my money then but just for the sake of one weapon skin in the hall of monuments…
(. .) oh nooooooo (T T)
Soo I never played the first GW’s so I’m kinda at a loss as to how I can get this skin. It’s my favorite staff skin and would look great on my necro. Is there any way I can this skin and maybe transmute at all without the need to acces HoM?
Was an example, you can find other ones here that donst fit with certain gear thats how it is..
That’s a little thing called diversity. Of course not everything is going to work with everything else and look good. I would hate to see a bright pink, yellow, and lime green gaurdian walking around in the world. But it’s possible and people can do it. But do they? Some do but thankfully most don’t. I really don’t get what your trying to prove as to what your saying was already completely obvious and stupid to point out.
Well, however i would love this it isnt possible, would create tons of issues, imagine human t3 medium with that rainbow dye, wouldnt fit together with the skin. as an example, no sorry i dont think it will work out, BUT T we might get dyes for weapons
Well, for one that was just one suggestion not all of this would have to implemented. An secondly some people don’t like to look extremely kitten and awesome and look rather silly and comidic. For me I’m more interested in dyes that would add cool aleffects to your armor and I threw in the rainbow dye as just an idea that would be rather interesting to see.
So I’ve had this idea and told most people on my server and all of them thought this would be awesome to implement. It would be a new tier of die and would have special effects to the armor you equipped it to. So instead of that lame midnight fire dye you spent 5 gold why not actually spend your gold on something awesome. Why not buy a dye that actually turn your armor on midnight fire and walk around and astound other players. These effects wouldn’t be as noticeable as perhaps the effects on legendaries or maybe they could. How about these new dyes be craftable and costly (not to much though) and make your level 80 character into a god! Some effects would be-
Nightcrawler effect
Smoke- varied color
Fire- varied color
Energy- varied color
Rainbow dye (a dye when applied will slowly fade into a series of colors on, one or more the patters will sync)
The possibilities are endless and I’m curios as to what you guys think. How would this be implemented (champ drops, chests, crafting) and how will it effect the black lion trading company…( inflation 1000 gold for one dye yikes!!!) and what effects would you like to see? Please comment and leave your thoughts thank you for reading.
How about this then have the weapon skill trainer be in 1 out 10 secret spots and every character you creat will be randomly assorted to one location. Or have a series of levels where you have to talk to 10 diffrent trainers and combine their knowledge to gain your new skills. Of course this would be time consuming and difficult so you actually earn them and not just get them after one day of grinding. To make this somewhat more interesting it could be kind of like a personal dungeon slash quest where once reaching level 80 you begin to further increase your knowledge and understanding of your power and choose a certain path for the new skills such Gaurdian greatsword you can pick 1 of 3 mastery paths (all of which would be diffrent from each other and completely diffrent from those of a warrior or mesmer) and if you didn’t like one you change your mind and go for another path (and not be restricted to just the one you chose and were stuck with). Of course this would be perfet as long as all these skills were balanced and tested first.
Okay sit down for the best asuran light armor combo. First I like the cultural tier 1 helm for the eye thing, then I have the cultural tier 3 chest piece and these make the armor, also use the sorrow embrace should piece. For the rest go with inquest dungeon and add either radiant or hellfire skins (whichever you prefer or chose)
Anyone know any good weapons that would look good on my mesmer once he reaches level 80?
Nah man, Fuschia Butterflies go with time.
haha lol thank you for your imput
Im obsessed with the idea of a chronomancer in gw2 (i think they are just a perfect profession for this game), but sadly this will most likely never happen…. My question is which class should i pick that is most similar to a Chronomancer. Im tied between a mesmer and a gaurdian. The mesmer’s play style fits a chronomancer but i dont think the staff skills are very good. I prefer a gaurdian because of the awesome cool blue color scheem that comes with it (blue seems to go with time)
I know the premise behind the chronomancer is very similar to that of the mesmer (distorting reality by bending time, and confusing foes) but I was thinking it would sort of be more like all three Mage classes combined. But my idea would be a mesmer play style with the elementalist control over giving themselves boons. For style and aesthetics, the use of the staff with the chronomancer would be like the necromancers scythe effect but with gears and blue light or aura.(not necessarily with the scythe). Or when using certain skills gear wings would appear on the back of the character model. They could use weapons such as a greatsword, staff, shield, sword, rifle, horn, scepter, focus, and trident. They don’t have to be light armor they could also fit in medium or even heavy as sort of a more Mage then the gaurdian. This is most unlikely but I can dream this will somehow be in gw2’s future….
I think CC is fine I would only sacrifice SOME healing power from the conditions and gain stacks of might. But that’ll never happen
Dude just TP somewhere else… If it bothers you that much switch to a new server. Or don’t take these things so seriously. I have never ran into any of these problems at all and if I did it shouldn’t matter so much to going to reporting them unless their cheating or exploiting.
So there seems to be some talk of wether dhuumfire is going to stay 100% burn for four seconds or something else but nonetheless if it stays I think it would be awesome if the flames from this trait were black and green (like the guardians blue flame skills). I feel this would provide a uniqueness to the class and be visually appealing to the eyes and gameplay knowing “oh hey I have black and green flames on me crap there’s a necro somewhere…”
Necro was never unplayable.
Stop trying to take unique traits/appearances from a class and putting it on another.
Thank you.
I meant playable as in variety. Didnt mean to insult or bag on the necromancer on the class. I always loved necromancer and I though this would be a really cool idea.
Oops 100% to burn for four seconds on critical***
Okay so necro is now playable and I can’t thank ArenaNet enough but I have a really cool idea to add. So with the latest update the developers added a new trait called Dhuumfire which provides a100% to burn for 4 seconds. I love the skills but I would love if they changed the look of the fire. Guardians have their kitten blue fire and I was thinking it would be visually appealing if they could make the flames a black or green (or black and green!!) flame. And with this maybe some affects for other classes and skills. Anyways leave your thoughts.
