Nothing appears anywhere. When I choose to select a specialization I only get Explosives, Firearms, Inventions, Alchemy and Tools. No Scrapper. Checked everywhere in the menus too.
I’ve earned enough points to finally unlock the Scrapper specialization and I got Master Scrapper achievement but seems like the skill set isn’t unlocked. Heck, it doesn’t even appear. I only got the core specializations. What gives? Anybody else got this?
I was looking through the various light armors in the Wardrobe Storage and I found one about which there’s no detail anywhere. It’s simply labeled “Guild Armor” and I have no clue about how to get it. I’ve tried searching various GW2 armor websites and so far found nothing. Does anyone know anything about it?
I gave it a fun factor of -10 and after more playtime it still remains the same. I’m really trying to get into but I just can’t. Instead of being wide open spaces of exploration and deeper understanding of the lore they simply assembled the worst elements of Super Mario Bros (including walking ’shrooms, of all things) and blended them into the GW2 universe all the while vacuuming all that made GW2 fun.
I’ve had a good run with GW, ever since 2005, but now, with this last offering, I think it’s time I take my distance for a while from a game I don’t even recognize anymore. I used to play at least 4 hours per day, even more during week-ends but now I’ll put those hours to better use. I honestly and most sincerely regret the prepurchase.
The music is just a big vat with nothing remotely attached to a specific region like in GW1. The incessant, stupid, vapid chatter from NPCs. Shut up already! I know you’re rich and that your time is precious. Oh, and those doves too. Punk hairstyles with neon colors pretty much kills it as well. I could also mention uninspired voice acting in many cut-scenes and sometimes unconvincing skyboxes (i.e. flat low-res textures for “clouds”). Well-lit caverns when there are no light sources anywhere. Ambient sound effects in nature for the most parts are seriously lacking…
That’s officially a wrap I think. No bunny ears, but I can’t complain. :P

Actually, I am happy that ArenaNet does not love money. They are not greedy, and I like that. People with Bunny Ears and items unobtainable can feel special and unique more time. Indeed, seeing old items being brought back to life would have been great; but respecting old players who got them and kept them is awesome because it provides uniqueness to old players.
I do not have Bunny Ears, nor do I want this item. But I respect old players who have it.
Actually, yes, I’d like them to have a little bit more love for money, as it would provide them with enough fuel to create larger expansions and thus give us a bit more meat on the bone.
It has been 3 years since the release of Guild Wars 2 and what do we have apart from the core game? An upcoming expansion which opens a small part of the Maguuma. Within the same time frame with the release of the original Guild Wars, and with a smaller team, we got Factions and Nightfall which opened up TWO continents notwithstanding the fact that GW1 was much bigger map-wise than GW2.
YES!!!! We’ve all been waiting like, forever, for boosters to be marginally(1) discounted! Such sale! Many wow! So glee! Very savings! Takes me right back to the glorious days of Double Mantid Pincers week-ends of GW1!!!

This isn’t an anniversary sale, it’s a fetid bin o’ shame liquidation of stuff almost nobody wants. Anet truly shows they have the whole “listening to your fanbase” theorem mastered. Ho hum.
I can’t wrap my mind around this. People are litteraly waving their money in Anet’s face for this particular item and the Gem Store team doesn’t even react. Hello? McFly?
I’ll add my voice to those who have stated their displeasure at the revamped system. The old one was perfect. Allowed us to choose from a large variety and didn’t make us wait hours on end for a specific event or run around a map like headless chicken looking for events that haven’t been designed for so many players.
Well, something fried somewhere in my computer while I was playing. CPU and GPU were both running hot. String of BSOD’s followed, lots of reboots, rinse repeat, and now I can’t access Windows anymore.
Well, looks like I’m not the only one with this issue. The game used to play fairly well before the aforementioned september patch but now, not so much. My framerate constantly goes from 2/4 fps one second to 35/45 fps the next then drops back to 2/4. Rince repeat. My CPU temps does rise significantly when the gw2.exe is launched. Playing in window or full-screen mode changes nothing. Unfortunately I will have to sidetrack Guild Wars2 until this problem is fixed because I don’t want to damage my CPU.
It’s the same for me. The frame rates aren’t stable at all. One second I can hit 45 and the next right down to 12. And it keeps going like this throught the game, wherever I am and whatever I’m doing. I fiddled with the graphic options, turned down the music, there’s nothing that can fix this situation. Everything was going well until the last update.
Well, I wasn’t aware of this and I got scammed pretty good @ 11:15pm Eastern Time by receiving a rifle! Pretty angry about this. Since Anet knows of the bug they should 1) disable the feature until fixed properly and 2) Refund the lost laurels.
