Why get a Linux if you know its not supported by most game developers? XD

Why are people against mounts? All they do is add an extra nice layer to the game lol. I dont see the problem….

Its a real shame that GW2 fails to deliver us good looking armors. They make or break a character for any of us. We all love to play around and dress ourselves up n icely, dont we? We want to look ’ ’awesome’’ when we are attacking that keep, or when we heroically fall down and die. GW2 offers a beautiful world, with awesome mindblowing textures, yet when it comes down to the amors if fails so bad.

Of course its not 20 second.. Every bloody skill us mesmers have lasts too short already.
Its 10 seconds now, and will be nerfed to 5 seconds in the future.

I think the Mesmer already is the weakest class and you ask for it to be nerfed down even more up the point we might ask ourselves why we are playing as Mesmer again other than the cool fact you can ’’clone’’ yourself.

To be honest, I do agree to a certain extend that the Combat feels boring.
In its essence, GW2 is just another ‘’Hit Tab’’ and press ‘’1,2,3,4,5 +’’ and watch your charackter perform an auto-attack.

Unlike for example TERA, where the combat styles is unique, using a crosshair to aim and you are actually able to dodge attacks there better. You co uld jump down a hill whilst charging your attack and let go when you land on the enemy’s head for example. It felt more FUN and interactive.

This however did not become an issue for me yet at GW2, as the world is simply amazing. But I did wish that combat would be improved to match TERA’s style.

I could write a long story about who I am and why I post this all. Since this is technically my first topic I open here. But it is late, and I am tired, yet I feel the need to drop my frustration here.

After being killed yet AGAIN I feel too frustrated to continue playing tonight. Perhaps my build just sucks but when it is 1 on1 I cannot even kill succesfully. My DPS is so crappy compared to other classes. That would have been acceptable if I was able to defend properly, but no… all I can do is clone myself and run.. run VERY slowly. Not to mention all of my stealth skills only last for a milisecond, a succesful escape 1on1 is not possible. Once i am sighted by an enemy, i just know i am going to die unless I am in a big group, as ironically that is how Mesmers ’’hide’’ themselves, not among clones but among team members. Well, on my server we are heavily outnumbered during World PVP so that option is very limited to me.

I am upset that Mesmers got nerfed in the patch, simply because it already is such a difficult fragile and weak class. If anything, Mesmer should be buffed, with either better defenses or escape options, OR increased damage output. It is ridiculous that everyone can blindly kill a mesmer, and a disgrace to the entire class. There is a reason you do not see many mesmers in world PVP, and I am starting to understand why everyone roles Archer/Thief/Necro. To answer your question: No, I am not going to reroll, I want to play Mesmer, but they have to make it ’’playable’’. Not impossible to play god kitten

Performance on Windows 8 is brilliant. Not having ANY issues at all. Things run smoothly, graphics are awesome and world PVP is great. I would really recommend Windows 8. Once used to it, you do not want back!

I could not agree more! Clones should look like GOOD clones and visually be indentical to the mesmer. They could move a bit around, whilst performing the auto-attack. I dont think they should have increased health, as clones are only there to confused the enemies. But their healthbar should match the healthbar of the mesmer!
