A non-botting multibox group is being handled by one person manually. There is no way you are more effective than a group where each character is controlled by a separate person, except where there is a difference of skill, and that is earned.
So, which of your characters does the target marking and do your other accounts respond to your marked target or just do their own thing? Right, multi boxers don’t have to target mark and pray the rest of the party is paying attention.
I get why you’re defensive, but I’m not going after your gaming style, I’m with you I think multi boxing is fine, but you’re just lying if you think it doesn’t have certain advantages. There are disadvantages to multiboxing, but there are also undeniable advantages.

The Developer class. They would be the only open world pvp class. They would stealthily attack the other classes with dimishing returns, gold leach and nerfs to dmg, movement speed, and increased casting times. Other classes could purchase protection runes from the gem store to stop Developers coming after them.
I’m not against multiboxing, but any reasonable person would have to admit there are advantages over an average player. For instance, a multiboxed group can more easily focus and coordinate attacks. The multiboxer doesn’t waste time lfg’ing. One player ends up with a pool of resources and gold gathered across several accounts versus smaller amounts of gold spread across the entire group for actual players.
None of which are gamebreaking advantages, but definitely advantages. Why would anybody multibox if it provided no advantage?
So we’ve got the Server Status Conspiracy, now the “I’m getting screwed out of Ascended Gear because I complained on the forums” Conspiracy. This community is setting new lows every day.
The short answer, OP, is that no there is no conspiracy against you. It’s just bad luck and Arenanet already said that they realize RNG was a bad system to use and they will be changing it.
I think it’s a reduction in developer communication and lack of response to consumer issues, combined with a perceived change in development direction, that promotes mistrust and guides customers to imagine nefarious explanations due to a lack of reasonable explanations.
Plus, it’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you, and it’s not a conspiracy theory if it’s a conspiracy fact. And tin-foil is cheaper than gw2 gold.
I stopped playing when loot stop dropping off mobs. I don’t enjoy dungeon running. The pvp got stale for me. I played to loot mobs for crafting materials to equip myself and friends with exotics. I was able to get the three of us a couple exotic armor pieces each before the loot stopped dropping. The work vs reward is no longer fun for me so I stopped playing.
I want a Skritt character pretty badly. I bet they’d sell more than a few character slot expansions if they add new races. I’b buy another one for a Centaur.
