It took us a while to assemble 15-20 man pug zerg when you guys took the tower. Like I said, GoM did organize last night and gave us a good fight. Badges for all!

Shout out to you guys. Some guild leaders and myself are trying to get things going on this end. We realize this match up is lost, but it doesn’t mean we can’t make some things happen.

Please stop blaming spawn camping. If me and my [UO] crew, a crew of [Aí] guild members and a ton of random people can bounce out and cap half of the GoM borderlands by zerg capping faster than they can be taken back by Yak’s, I’d say suck it up. There is more than one exit, and we took a different one. Didn’t see a single Yak’s player until we started assaulting a tower.

Keep it positive guys. SF and GoM both can take and hold points. A small group of people including myself on GoM took a few points and held them for a while. You don’t need 50+ people to defend a camp – just a few people with their head on a swivel and the ability to call out where help is needed. If we can get coordinated like we were for a small bit last night, we can make a difference. This match up is lost, but you can definitely improve for the next one.

Stay positive GoM – we will bounce back.

Have received a few new members that have seen this post – bumping it for the last time hoping for exposure. GoM needs your help!

I am in the GoM borderlands right now, and the morale is so low that people don’t even want to venture from the walls of the spawn point.

This is a call to arms for the Gates of Madness server. We have recently had our biggest WvWvW guilds transfer off due to some lopsided losses. These transfers have, as a result, caused a bit of a snowballing effect, generating a bigger gap in losing.
We have talented players here, but we don’t have the numbers.

I currently run a small new guild, Kal Ort Por, that is home to some old school UO/DAoC PVP’ers that want to compete. I am not expecting this to become a huge 500+ zerg guild – but I want some core, talented recruits to slowly help us take back GoM and get us into some real competition week in and week out.

If your server has ridiculous queue times and you want to get in to WvWvW and make a difference immediately, UO is for you.

If you are on a server that is decimating your opponents every week with no real competition, leaving you with nothing to do, UO is for you.

If you are already on GoM in an unorganized manner, UO is for you.

GoM player here. Every time that I join in to WvWvW this week, we are being absolutely dominated by SoR – major props to you guys, as you are doing it right.

I don’t really know too much of what I am doing at level 39, but I can say that I definitely try to help the overall flow of the battle instead of mindlessly joining in the zerg. We have a few commanders that seem to know what they are doing, and I follow them when I get a chance (Phiyzn, Dr. Duplicate, Dedstorm,) but it seems like we just can’t coordinate as a whole.

Until we figure out how to move as a unit (NOT A ZERG) and start playing strategically, we will continue to be at the bottom, and people will continue to transfer off of our server and we will continue to get worse.

Thanks to SoR for showing our server how to WvWvW with a real strategy, and showing how to not grow complacent. We killed it against our opponents last week, but we are just outmatched right now.

As a side note, I am looking to join a WvWvW guild (I’m in a tiny 3 man guild right now specifically made for WvWvW,) but I’d rather just join a large guild already set up for this so I can learn more and contribute more.
