Wiki says, is the one in lion point, but there is no Bixx in lion point.

its broken again, it stuck at 90% and after a reload, is not connecting.

I think it just fixed… I entered and now it dowloading a patch … a huge patch 60000 files or something.

I wouldnt suggest you to do that, in fact its better for you to have 2 accounts. Because most of the stuff in game is “bind to account”, even the dailies… So if you have 2 accounts, is like you got 2 characters.

I do that for myself, I allready have my main account and an f2p and as soon as I improve my main account (buy all the extra bank/bag/etc stuff), I will upgrade my second account also. Since there is no sub fees, I will invest in an extra account, instead of extra character slots.

I cannot enter the game, the client cannot load even the basic screen to login. It says connection problems, but its not from my behalf.

There is also huge delays in your webpage, while the rest of the internet works as intended (the world). It takes up to 3-4 minutes for the topic to be created.

its not working, ive tried… when u stow it and u get attacked or get any kind of damage, it comes back automatic. This is not good for raids and fractals. And also some times we wish to be without pets…but we cannot. We are doomed.

Also the naming is fail, you name ur pets and it resets after u move into another area.

I bet you can solo it with a pug group… Lets say you own a guild and you play an event with pugs/random people… when the event finishes, you may have the chance to claim it.

In silverwastes our pets just staying still with some enemies, dont attack them. But my biggest concern is the command STEW or something… to send them away. They come back without asking, after a few seconds. I wish to send it away and call it when I want to.

When I complete the episode, I see the anet symbol (*that is completed), but after a while, if I load the story tab, its a green star again and when I click episode 3 to check why its green, it says “continue episode 3”. If I do that, it makes me replay allover

This happened with my main (ranger) and I did replayed it, I thought i did something wrong. But now it is again green, I stop bothering. Also it just happened with my warrior…

It happened in both my 80s… When I finish it, it looks complete in journal, but after a while, the anet icon replaced by a star (like I havent finish it) and it asks me to continue it and when I click continue, it makes me replay it allover… lol… shall I quit it and move into 4?

Lets hope the pet controls will be fixed. We cannot send our pets away, the way it is now. They go away for a few seconds and they resummon themselves… And improve their AI, sometimes they dont attack specific targets.

Imagine a raid with druid healers and we try to send our pets away, not to agro things… but we cannot. I have no problem with healing, I always played as healer in other mmos… but I wish to have more alternative paths, thats the truth. I wanted to be like robin hood inside jungle, not with a dress and tutus…

I also think, I was in luck with chest farming. I got a ZINTL ascended chest and its shaman stats… Druid heal needs shaman stats? I havent used it yet… Also those who invested in ferocity and power ascended items.. Now they have to start over

its logical druids to be healers. They should pick a different thing for rangers, but you shouldnt complain after the revelation of druid spec. You should complain from day 1, if that was the issue.

You can avoid play as a healer i think. The good thing is, rangers will be the best class to farm stuff…. Easy to find a group, easy to farm solo… unbeatable.

The only thing I didnt liked from the video last night, is the casting spell bar… huge delay, i hope we have some instant casts.

Only in the fantasy lores, not in actual driidis (druids) and created by people who live in different cultures. That is also why I stated it, that it has nothing to do with any kind of lore in the beginning of my message.

Druids are more related with Lyra than any moon… Its from my civilization and I know druids… So I dont disagree that druids are celestial. They did the right thing. Our symbols is the SUN, we never use moons.

ps: even Asterix and Obelix cartoon is driidis (they possess ancient knowledge and they live in nature), its the roman edition of druids. And my point writing this, is not to confuse magic with druids, its a different story.

And think about it, simple logic. Nature/plants/trees/animals, etc needs the SUN in order to live and grow and eat… what makes druids so gothic, if moons are related with them. Witches and wizards actually relate with the moon.

What I will type bellow has nothing to do with the gw lore or anything, but what driidis is ( that druid comes from).

3) does not use magic at all. Its all about celestial/soul/spirit energy.

do not confuse or merge witches/wizzards/moons and dragons…with driidis. (druids). Magick drains power from something else, by doing sacrifices, offerings, invoke the power of something else… Druids, the power flows from within them. Its not magick. Take for example elementalists, they do magick… “i call the power of ocean, balthazar, etc” It keeps that tradition.

As for the healing thing… ok I may not having a problem, but what about picking up 2 paths, 1 dps spec and 1 healing spec. Rangers was kicked out by most of the groups, now rangers will be most wanted, but also will get a heavy burden… is it fair? Maybe the heaviest of all, because many can tank and dps… but only 1 can heal.

Hello, just a fast question. How many bandit chests can I have inside my home instance, a reward from season 2 ?

I allready got 1 and soon will complete season 2 with my second toon, thats why I am asking.

I just dont wish to see my ranger in a robe/dress looks… Other than that, I am not sure about the mix of a hunter and druid. They are 2 different elements. Hunter kills and hunts and druid protects the planet and balance between forms of life.

druid should be a different class. I watched the videos for other classes (chrono, berseker, etc…) it is a logical evolvement an extra to what they are. Ranger-druid is 2 different elements.

In my opinion, ranger should get a huge mobility upgrade in the jungle… like a robin hood style… lol (and more traps)

when I start playing gw2, I saw huge groups running and farming in SW… I came from other mmos who consider farming as “bad”… because they promoted everything with raids and tokens and crafting/farming is irrelevant. So new players like me, when they first see this thing, is funny and strange… but then we understand its importance.

But then I realized that this game is all about it! And I like it! I wish more feature areas with events like cf in SW, for HOT maps. Drytop is not that a big success, but only if you are advanced and not in the silverwastes level.

So if Arenanet made that as an experiment… Its a success, keep it up.

I would also suggest you to change everything if possible (email, password). Because when you enter websites who bot and sale gold, they use phishing stuff to hack you after…

You may become a victim…. And dont buy gold, farm it your self.

I experience this problem allot and it effects my gameplay. As I lose lots of big events like TEQ or story content that makes it disturbing. As an example, I am in the last story event with my warrior, I have to fix the air-ship, then go kill 3 bone pillars, kill a boss, then move to the airship again, kill dragon champions and the last dragon…

ALL that without a single checkpoint/save!!! So the client losing connection and I have to replay ALL OVER again and again and I stop playing.

Its your server problem, as my connection is very good, VDSL with 70-90 ping.

Server : Aurora Glade.

Suggestion, add save checkpoints, so we dont have to replay a more than an hour story content without saves and with these server problems.

edit : After 4 tries, I made it to finish my second toon story…

I read the whole topic and I used a longbow with my warrior. I died only once and I did it! So the mechanic here demands range

I revive it a year after, because I am stuck there, I cannot progress. It is said in this topic that the boss does not regenarate life after I die, but in my case it does, so its all over again and this time my army is dead! Also the mesmer holographic npc is stuck in the btm of the mountain. Is not coming with me in the battle.

So its a KO . Can I request a ticket to change the path of progression? This is a 5 man quest and maybe even 10… swarm kill me in 3 seconds.

this quest line is just not playable.

I play this with my warrior. I choose a different path with my ranger (find the missing squad).. but this choice here is not playable. I regrate my choice with my warrior.

Graphics are fine but comparing with newest mmos, the only thing that would be great for implementation, is some cloth animations, to be more realistic and the basic walk/run speed of character to be increased… (it’s a bit slow till you get buffs and spells).

I found that the ingame email is very limited 10/10, no matter what if the mails are old, read or unread or from gemstore purchases.

My email got filled up very very quickly because season 2 purchase (all episodes) send you ingame mails, in order for you to progress…

shall I delete them? If I wish to replay the episodes, or with my other characters, I get the mails back again? My mail icon is red and it asks me to delete my old mails in order to get new ones.

Suggestion, make it unlimited, but if the mails are from players, to be time limited and auto deleted after (lets say 1-2 weeks)… And those from purchases/gemstore and arenanet to be unlimited as well.

they have to add sandbox stuff, we see that in newest versions of online games (not entirely mmos)… built it ur self, etc…

the guild halls is a start, but is going to be a premade?… who knows.

gw2 forums dont have any suggestion section… I ve made once a suggestion. Singe guild halls are like small villages, we could modify them the way we want… Drops of rare npcs (as items/decorations) to place them inside our halls, also traps, etc and with group finder thing.. to turn our halls into dungeons with timing, so if the opposite team lose, we win and unpredictable. Thats sandbox.

MMO theme parks cannot survive for long if they dont invest money all the time… Sandbox mmos can survive in the long term.

I just created an f2p account in order to upgrade it in the near feature as an ALT account. Anyway a couple of questions.
1) My account is old since beta (the f2p one) and I am somehow locked in a server which I didnt choose “underworld” or something like that. Because it was a beta account and not real servers at that time. Anyway, I dont have the choice to change server and it says “upgrade to receive one free server transfer” . So when I read “one free upgrade” I thought there is a service I could buy with gems maybe? But there is not…
2) The gem store have 2 products GW2 HEROIC edition upgrade and for heart of thorns. If someone with f2p account purchases that, automatically turns into a full account?

So if anything it would add to the game and give us a reason to go back to the core game and its maps and look at them from a different perspective.

Because the maps quite literally weren’t designed for it. The amount of time, effort and money required to redesign those maps isn’t worth it in the slightest, and that’s not even getting into how it would screw every single Jumping Puzzle up the butt without lube.

I was about to do the same thing, I mean to buy some character slots… but since everything is account bound. I find not much of a reason of doing it, if you do stuff with 1 character, applies to all. I may get 2-3 slots, to make a thief and an engineer… but other than that, I may invest in an alt account.

2 accounts is going to be like, I have 2 characters. If they ever make it a bit more friendly for the alts… give me a reason of having many characters in 1 account. I will do it. Right now is NO…

Thats why I didn’t gave any feedback, tell them what…
1) This time the map felt smaller (but it was 3 floors/layers)…
2) gliding cannot be used outside jungle.
3) if I wish to jump in a vertical way down with gliding, just to avoid suicide (not just fly a big distance), I have to wait till the stamina ends? I press the buttons to cancel it, but it didn’t, I made circles for a while, till my stamina ended, so I could land. (this may be my fault, because I dont know the controlls of gliding yet…)

lol I read about druids these days and I thought its a new class/pro but now I find out its a ranger thing. My main is a ranger and his style is not for druids with a staff. Now I have to lvl up a girl ranger lol

but I hope they fix some things along with the druid implementation… beyond all the rest of the player requests…plz improve the pet bar!!! Also when we send away our pets, let them stay away until WE call them back! Some times I want to be without a pet, for fractals or in huge events, but I cannot send my pet away, the pet comes back after a while!

A question, druid is the only elite progression, or they give 2 paths/choices ?

I am new in gw2 coming from another mmo and all I have to say is that more people play dungeons in gw2, than any other mmo…

If ANET devs dont like dungeons or find it hard to make for them, doesnt mean people dont like them, or dont play them. Group finder is filled with dungeon queues. I never found my self disappointed, if I want to join a dungeon to play.

In other mmos, forums are filled with complaints, because of the long queues… Here devs dont like dungeons… well…

I believe their problem is not that the people dont like them… Their problem is :

1) they created a huge HUGE interactive world, full of events and

2) dugeons require cinematics, resources, story telling… etc

3) they need producers, writters, voice-overs… more bucks to spend.

thats why ANET says people dont like them.

The reason I suspected that, I got an ascended item as a drop and I was so WOOOW about it, that I linked my drop in the map and many said " gratz, good, hurray"… but also many said " get out from the map, you took what you wanted…" etc.. so I suspected that it may had to do with it. I’m confused. You don’t need to stay in the party to stay in the map. Taxi (to a map) is just that, a taxi. You are supposed to leave the party as soon as you enter the map. Why would you need another taxi, or party?

By joining a group for a taxi I got penalty and I couldnt join other groups for hours, for over an hour the join button was inactive and it said “recently you joined many groups, wait a moment before you can join again”. The game didnt allowed me to join groups for hours. not moments or minutes.

They should remove living world from group finding

They have to give an option to change instance every 2-3 minutes. Ive seen that in mmos and they tell you : come to map 3, map 5, map 7…. thats how it goes!!

Its not about mining or farming materials, this is saved after all, the restrictions apply. Or else its a totally unfriendly system and they shouldnt advertise living world after you get 80. They should say instead : come and play living world BUT BECAREFULL you may not be able to play for the rest of the day.

Its not that the maps getting full I understand that, its the group finding the problem, that we cannot group up… Its group unreadily game

Living world is not a dungeon, they taxi you and kick you out. Or if you join a group and the world is full, it is count as a penalty, you cannot stay in that group and smell the fresh air, you have to move out and join another group that you can actually transfer into this world. That is Anet’s fault.

Its the only mmo that I ve experienced such things. Its a motivation not to play.
Many mmos have a kind of penalty if you join pvp and abandon, for 10 minutes max… but for reasons that it is not my fault, I couldnt get in a group for over an hour! Thats ridiculous.

After I created this topic, the “join” was activated again.. I joined I played for an hour and from 11:00 up to 12:36 I couldnt join again!!!!!! I didnt joined 2-3 groups, I joined only 1 and I couldnt join after for more than an hour.

That also makes me wonder…

shall I ever join a guild? Its unfreandly to group up. I see no point.

Today I joined 2 groups be able to enter in silverwastes, then I couldnt join another group for about 10 minutes. Now I tried to join a group for sw again, but the game load me in a different instance because the map was full. So I tried to join a group for TEQ and I cannot, its more than 30 minutes and i cannot play.
Its not our fault if we join groups and the ones who own the group (created it) kick us out, our your instances are filled up.

The game is unplayable and its a horrible thing not be able to join a group and play. If you didnt wanted people to join groups, for teq, for cf, for anything… You shouldnt give the content the way it is. If I have to suggest the game to a friend, I will warn him, that most of times he wont be able to play.

Remove the living world content from group finding… Find a new way for it.

I am still trying to find something that I like for my guild…
I was about to use the horse with the wings, but it also have a horn…
Horse with horn = Unicorn from Chinese myths (healing abilities and related with the moon)
Horse with wings = Pigasus from my civilization Hellas. (Only the brave and pure hearts can tame it.
But the guild wars 2 is like a unicorn and a pigasus made a mixed baby…. NO WAY to use that for my guild. I got disappointed.
The name of my guild is related with Pigasus, no way with unicorns.
ps: I used a Gryphon for now, gryphon are Zeus pets…but still trying to figure out how to do it right and with the right colors and background.

I tried to load the launcher and it start loading 300000+ files patch! I stopped it immediately and repairing.

tl;dr ANet loses a considerable source of revenue if they allow people to use gems to purchase the expansion.

This. “somebody else bought the gems with real money” isn’t an excuse for a gold farmer to get it for free by conversion.

WOW is going to do that, in the new expansion, you will pay ur subs and stuff with ingame currency and with ingame gold (if you are good of getting it).

Anet did that, to avoid/eliminate(?) illegal gold farming. And this somebody who payed these money to get gems and get gold (with Anet service), HE WOULDNT buy these gems , if Anet didnt gave this service from the first place. So there is no loss of revenue.

It is just some people who play allot and some others who pay allot.

I believe thats not an excuse, because people buy gems (who dont wish to greed for gold) and buy gold with it, from players who greed and get gold.

Thats how the money flows. Its not a money damage or something. The only problem I see, if they did that, it will cost allot of gold to get 400-800-1600-2000 gems!! I noticed that each time they add a cool item or offer in gemstore, gold/gem exchange rate increases dramatically.

I am a new player and when I first logged in, the exchange rate was 65 gold for 400 gems. Durring the feather offer, it went up to 114 gold for 400 gems!!! Now its 95

its like a bitcoin.

I am new and my first character is ranger and the things I ve noticed so far compared to other classes are :

1) is less complex
2) if you dismiss the pet, it respawn after you make a jump from a small height, or move into a new area, without even requesting it.
3) the dismiss button is bind with the button to change pets. So if you change pet, you cannot dismiss it if needed, you must wait for the CD.

I wish them to fix the pet buttons, some more pet control and also buff the ranger spells a bit. (why not add a couple of item/accessories in our pets, to buff them up).

Some groups in dungeons and fractals, hate rangers, they kicked me a couple of times because of it, without even letting me play.

I ve tried to name one of my pets (give a name), but after I summoned another, the name resets! So I stop bothering… lol

I have pre-purchased gw2 through a retailer, bought gems through paysafecard, so im puzzled why none of those options are available to me when I wish to purchase HOT.

My country is in capital controls, but gw2 – wow – ffxiv are supported for a reason. Retailers are filled up their stock with these games and their features (gemcards, timecards, etc). So I bought my copy of prepurchase edition from a local retailer.

The mmo I played before capital controls implemented, is not supported from my country retailers and many people from my country abandoned it, after they forced capital controls. Such as I did as well and moved in gw2.

Your backpiece disappears when the glider comes out, and vice versa. You don’t have both at once.

so I could buy a similar skin for gliding (black wings + black wings gliding skin) and it will look like… perfect

Or they could simply buff the wings with a gemstore token or something. I remember in the beta, that gliding feathers pop-out even if we jump small heights, NO need to jump from a huge mountain, I consider some animation glitch(??), but if they make it look nice, why not.
