I think it’s sad that flame rams have a better fear, or at least a longer fear, then Necros, Warriors fear last longer as well, I don’t understand it really. Sorry, I guess off subject a bit.

Where’s the outrage? Why can’t we get something in WvW besides OP AC’s or a ranking system that means nothing really?

Guardians and Warriors are not the end all best classes while running in wvw one day I got completely kitten d by a D/D Ele I was dead in about 5 seconds and I have full exotic pvt gear on my Guard, so they can’t be nerfing classes all that much.

What’s a double team precious? What’s a double team? I have no idea what your talking about.

If you know the class and know your roll in the group, any class works well in wvw.

If they want to throw skill into the equation then they should add a couple of the spvp maps to wvw. Some tight close quarters action might be fun with 100 people,

So…if we are a big zerg we are less skilled then ..say a 20 man team? Let me ask you this Devon. What did you think would happen when you put three servers on the same map and let them at each other? Did you think they would all split up into 20 man squads, or small scale pvp would happen?

I have an idea come to Blackgate Server and run with ICoa for a while, or any of the guilds because they are all great people, and listen to what our commanders are saying. This way maybe you will get an idea of how things are being done.

Set up server discussion sessions with top people from each server and get their feedback and listen to what your player base is saying instead of making decisions because it is how you think the game should be played.

Just make the game open world pvp.

I don’t really care how long it takes just make the the skills you are using the wxp for worth taking the time to get, right now there kitten.

I still don’t understand the decision to buff AC’s by 80%? I do agree that towers where to easy to take but 80% buff? At least take it back by 20% rams still melts even with the changes and whats the point of placing rams anyway if you can’t man them.

Please just let us play and quit making rash decisions that make people not want to log in and then not listen when it is obvious you made AC’s to OP.

I’ve seen a good Thief get a way from 15 people before and he wasn’t always in stealth, just being able to see him doesn’t mean you are going to kill him.

so we can have four groups, or 20 people, in the same party and see where everyone in the alliance is by a colored dot.

Like the OP said “Are you playing the same game we are?” Before the change in the AC’s damage we could barely stand on the rams, but now it is just ridicules. I understand something had to be done keeps and towers where flipping to easy, but you guys act like you want WVW to fail by making changes because <b>you</b> think that these types of changes are best for the game.

Come play the game a while see how it works before making drastic changes like these.

About 1 out of 5 times I cast it I don’t get swiftness, if I change direction while in the symbol I don’t get swiftness.

Why is swiftness activated at the opposite side of the symbol where you enter instead of as soon as you enter the circle?

Welcome to the fray all new guilds that joined t1 recently, on all servers, much respect.

I would like to see an entire wvw map just water, maybe a couple small islands.

If you are going to buff one piece of siege you have to buff them all. As it stands all cata’s do is knock me down, I die from AC’S now. It was bad enough before when people would have multiple AC’S in a tower, but now it is just ridiculous.

Only a WvW player knows the blissful, almost trace-like stat, of following a blue dot.

As someone already mentioned this is just a way to keep people in the game more. I do think it is a bad idea as I have two level 80 chars and one almost level 80, which will be my last leveling after this.

We where told we would have a big update for wvw, if this is it then all I can say is that it is a big fail. I for one could care less about titles and everything else that is coming out in this next patch. Culling is a big problem, but wait until it is gone and see how much QQ you find on these forums about lag.

I have played a game that has one of the work arounds they are implementing, if you have never chased name tags around, just wait, you are in for big treat.

If your zoomed in to look at your chars feet all the time, your doing it wrong.

I played a game that has all the changes they are going to implement here and it is not all that exciting as people think. Chasing names plates around is no fun and takes away any feeling of immersion for the game.

Yes, culling is bad but lag is just as bad. I think they should have given a few other options to alleviate some of the lag, like the option to turn off the skill effects of other players, it helps, if even a little.

Also, wvw is not the only place culling is a problem.

In some ways I think this game is made to be around awhile in that such issues will become obsolete as computing power and bandwidth increases.

Or, as people quit, the lag will reduce and the few players left will have less lag.

It just broke my game. I read this thread a few minutes before I logged on and get into game and can’t even auto attack. This after getting DCed the first time I logged on. I was not even in wvw I was in cursed shore.

Because in WvWvW it is Siege Warfare, IE: large Groups, storm the castle, that kind of thing. So it’s the theme of WvWvW to be a large group of people to hit an objective, if you wanted small fights, there is sPvP.

I came into this thread to say the same thing. You can’t expect to square off one 5 man group against they other it doesn’t work that way.

I thought I was the only one with this problem I was running MSI Afterburner and now it just locks up my computer. I uninstalled and haven’t tried anything else yet.

I can’t see mobs or players in wvw because of the culling and now I can’t play because of the lag.

And it just does something it itself? I started the client and was expecting some dialog box or something to pop up saying it was repairing files.

I tried to use the cmd line augments but someone will have to be more specific about what to type in because “…\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -repair did not work.

I’m having screen freezes and then the screen goes black. If I open up task manager it will show two listings for the gw2 client. This has only been going on for a couple days. This happens at random times into the game but usually after about 20-30 minutes.

I have check all drivers and everything is up to date. I’m not sure what log people are talking about in here if you could tell me where it is I will post it. Iam going to put in a support ticket now.

I completely agree with the OP on this. All I do pretty much is wvw but I have to stop and do pve to make gold to so I can participate.

How do you know he left if he is using stealth?
