sorry was drunk when writing topic but let me go deeper to the point

rata sum:
go under surface. its 3rd map from top (at world map) the place with bank, crafting stations, black lion npcs. then you see those huge holes at sides of the floor. jump there. you discover a vista and alot of empty space with nothing interesting in there.
i meant to say, put some stuff there. something interesting.

lion arch:
just slam that public sauna somewhere there and fix it

yes im nicer when im drunk

I think changes are good. “Old” players will not feel bored because of changes.
Discussion (about changes) on forum is part of the fun to some. And interesting to ANET. Changes could be “bad” looking from some angle, but it’s okay if they are about as good as before, only thing that changes is point of view.
And I really don’t know wether ANET is reading forums or not – but what else are they here for. I’ve been thinking, WoW is Blizzard’s game and they have forums, and that game is about war, and war is profit, if gamers would have some interesting ideas to give for the game —> blizzard —> USA. Now that’s just conspiracy and off-topic… but a way to use forums too.

On another hand forums can be used to develop the game and consider the ideas —> potential profit material
I would rather ask, why wouldn’t ANET read these forums, if at least by glance?
Of course they are gonna read.
It’s this doubt/faith thing we have with other people sometimes, when we feel like our relationship is not well.
I’ve been trigger-happy doubting some people in close past because of my own psychological imbalance.
And when playerbase goes skritt-forged-pack-intuition, all we need are about 2-4 first players to comment agreeingly on the matter and the rest come cheering after.

Back to the matter of changes.
Take christmas toys from few years ago, and my little sister for example. Her old toys pile up somewhere and become forgotten. That was not quite the case with me, actually, but even I must confess getting new things for me is exciting.
All new shiny clean.
Who doesn’t want? It’s like when you get wild in market and come out with twice as much stuff than you intended to.
I saw cute plushies of one brand I didn’t know about in the grocery store and I bought each type of them. They are small, cute, and you want them.

GW2 does updates because other games do that too – and it’s also important to keep “old” players playing and possibly buying things from gem store.

Since I’m new player, I can’t tell, but GW2 could use something revolutionary update, just like any other game at some point. And more advertising.
Now my thoughts have crumbled, have your delicious puzzle here.

The BGM in-game seems one-sided to me. It needs variety.
Could there please be at least one piece per zone or at least even one unique for climate type (jungle, snowy mountains, beach, etc.)?
At best each zone would sound slightly different in addition to tracks that already play there.

im a player of this game.
i customise character for hour (or actually im not sure how long) then delete or remake it. ive remade my current characters 2-5 times because of that.
i plan to finally get total makeover kit for my asura.
im new, and my guys are all under level 30.

when i bought this game, i bought it also for internet friend i have never met before. now we play it together. my friend says my customisation problems are pointless, and that i should focus on playing the game. i know, but im like this, its something underbrain no-one understands that these stubbornities occur. to some it could be a cup of coffee or tea, etc. it has to be done.

i like gw2 community alot, especially map chat with stuff like “anyone got a matrix key” response—> “neo is not here”
and when i saw impossible strawberry patch someone helped me get there.
best community ive run into.

in real life ive been alone most of my life so games with people are important to me. and its not because of looks, its just because im shy. ive been made shy by this stranger culture (recalling how i behaved in childhood. im not from where i live by blood – and origins have alot of power in my nature, in my case)

ive seen two ufos in norn starter area…

Is the charr a dog or a cat?

dragon… cat. cow? catcow? too much uncool.
aha, a demon! or devil, devil himself, yes. catcow… cat…
cat = panther, tiger, etc. mighty hunter.
the ugly charr are cows, the cool ones cats, the super cools are dragons for real.
charr are a race of miniature dragons whose wings have been banished
no…
demon
dragon
demon
dragon
demon
dragon
8 <—

my flow of thought. demondragon. anybody agree? as ugly as demon, as awesome as dragon.

Suggestion: GW2 to work on Linux by itself

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: Pockethole.5031

Pockethole.5031

Please make GW2 work on Linux as well, just like it works on windows.
I hope people will not suggest alternative programs (pointing at this post) to make it work on Linux,
I’m purely suggesting GW2 staff will make the game work on Linux in addition to Windows.

Only reason I can think of are frustrated Linux users who switch to Windows so they can play GW2. I’m typical Windows user myself.

Please take my suggestion into consideration.

All Around usefulness?

i’m new and i’m curious about thief because almost everyone seem to have a problem with it, right now i’m level 10, i have dagger in my main hand and pistol in off hand, i challenged myself with a wolf boss in human area.
i kept failing until i used shadow shot (button 3) all the time.

then looking at head shot (4), it’s useless. why it’s there, if we have (3)?
that’s not right!

the other skills are okay.

but to me right now it looks like using the right skill at right moment… is how this profession works…
1v1 button 3 seems good.

so, thief = situational adjustments is success
is this so? still what is that head shot there for? the way it functions seems to be only useful in maybe pvp for someone ranged attacker, that aside, why?

armor durability, game installation

in Players Helping Players

1. armor durability & race
my friend noticed that asura and sylvari armour breaks faster than on human or norn
(shield icon pops at equipment at hero tab thing)
and i myself cant really confirm anything because they are about the only races ive played over level 10.

so does it depend on your race how fast your armor breaks?

2. installation, registration & computer
if you install the game at one computer, and play it there, but then install it elsewhere, can you play it in that location (2nd install) anymore?
my friend works with computers and i gave him a game, but he said its better to register and install on my computer for my account, and his account on his computer – but does that really matter?
he said some games are function like that.
but registration is done at internet, a web browser.

does it matter wich computer i install the game for first time?

thank you in advance. just curious about these small details.
