For those that don’t recall I lead one of the biggest WvW guilds EMP in Jade Quarry and RE in Dragonbrand! Our combined official GvG record ended at 11 Wins, 1 Loss.

I Just started playing again and rebuilding on Blackgate, if your interested in looking for a top tier competitive WvW guild with experienced members let me know.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the guilds I had the pleasure meeting and fighting alongside and against. Glad to see guilds such as: TW,SF,Choo,Merc,FOO,FIRE,OMEN,FEAR,ICOA,RG, VoTF,IRON still going strong! (to name a few)

Big shout out to all the members that have followed alongside my campaign in: EO/ESOL/SOL/EMP/RE back in JQ and DB. I’ll never forget the 90+ man raids , the daily workshops and the exciting GvGs! It’s been allot of fun but unfortunately life is moving on at an incredible pace and I can’t miss out on all the opportunities! I’ll be calling it quits on gaming entirely after today ( after 10 years)! Glad Gw2 will be my last platform.

Although Gw2 is just a recreation that we all take part of , we can still forge many valuable attributes that can carry on with us on our future endeavors such as communication skills, politics, sportsmanship, fairness and quality competition. All in which are imperative to any career choice, to some degree.

Thank you WvW community for making my gw2 experience possible. I’m glad to have had the chance to meet so many people since my time here, friends, distant friends, acquaintances and even enemies alike and the main reason why I have played for such a long time.

Stay classy Gw2 WvW community! The best and last game I have had the pleasure in partaking.

I’ve been actively involved with WvW since day one and leading one of the biggest Hardcore WvW guilds in NA and i’ve seen people leave the game drastically after the said febuary patch that was pushed back.

As much content we try to bring out to the field, being GvGs, trainings, etc. Guilds will experience attrition and its been occurring at such a substantial rate. As much as PvE is good and all for short term rewards and gear, it doesn’t contain the competitive playerbase.

I remember back in Gw1 were GvGs, HA, RA, TA were the hype of the game. When spectator mode actually worked. That is what guild wars was known as. It’s sad to see such a brilliant game with its mechanics take such a dive.

Some of the top guilds I know personally are starting to draw away from the game due to lack of content for guilds in the PvP aspect. Unfortunately if things don’t kick up in pace, I wont be surprised if people float to other platforms as a few substantial guilds have already done so.

The crew is working very hard and we can see that, but it shouldn’t have taken 6-7 months for even a progression system.

Every major WvW update has either been bugged, delayed, or blacklisted. Yet we see new maps, dungeons, skins, every month and the ascended/badge system is a joke.

3 months to get a full set excluding a back piece and the rate for transfers? 62g a pop is ridiculous. Great to see Anet capping all the servers to very high/full to pump out a bit of profit at the expense of those trying to forge better communities.

Siege is broken.

Apparently dropping 15 prints on a map = siege cap? hmmmmm.

Just wanted to kick start a thread about having a few personalized features to help get guilds involved.

• All guild members in the zone have (no boundary) color specific dots on the map.
  exe. yellow pins
• Guild decals: All claimed fortification banners/mobs have guild specific names.
  exe. “Guild name” veteran guard & guild banner display ( like existing banner buffs)
• Guild notifications when claimed forts are being attacked.
  exe. " your Hill’s Servername/map is currently under attack!"

I think these things alone could vastly improve guild presence with a sense of stronger commodity. What are your takes and suggestions?

Why do you keep posting the score? I have done a lot of GvG’s and never seen anyone so disrespectful, which is counter to what GvG’s are about.

??? Its not Zerg vs Zerg. When two guilds agree to gvg they have every right to post the official scoring and videos. In fact, people do want to know the scores therefore your argument is invalid. Clearly you don’t do GvG’s right. We lost to VoTF, they posted a score and we didn’t complain. We actually posted a video of our loss in respects to the match. Point and case .

Basically, even though DB missed a good window when they first came into T2. Now the quickest way into T1 is to just win by small margins until whoever is the lowest in T1 is done giving up max GLICK-probably JQ-, on the week they are giving up less than 10 GLICK-check via Millenium- go balls to the wall on the score and TADA, welcome to T1.

I’ve enjoyed my first reset on Dragonbrand. Within 1 hour we hit 340 PPT which impressed me. Maintained higher then 250 PPT so far. [CO] went to EB tonight. Again, I’d like to give shout outs to WAR and LoW from Dragonbrand, VK from FA for being great opponents and TV as well. Also, a shout out to all Dragonbrand tgat worked with [CO] on our first reset night. It was nice meeting a lot of you guys and introducing ourselves to the community.

My favorite moment of tonight was at Umberglade were we caught VK by surprise and once they were downed we went on the plateau south of the camp. Before we could really heal up a huge TC Zerg came charging up the plateau and we managed to kill 80% of them, but we started dropping in numbers and getting scattered while our opponents were rezzing each other on the side.

Oh, I also enjoyed the DB train across Ogrewatch as the FA Zerg was on the gates and meanwhile as soon as TC pushes out the tower (the moment we were waiting for) we rolled over both zergs, regrouped in Pangloss and ported to our spawn before we could be sandwiched by FA at the north and south entrances of Pangloss.

Overall, my favorite and best reset by far.

Hope there will be possible intentions to add this game mode!

Not sure why its difficult to just have a standard map with no objectives other then defeating the other team. Have like a 2 minute spawn timer or something with a 15v15 20v20 set up. Seems legit.
