JQ has not only been expanding with guilds but increasing in roster sizes to our main guilds prior from the spike. EMP for example has grown from 40~ to 70~ fielding as an international guild to compensate for the growth.
In my eyes, it only made sense to reach out to struggling guilds before the outrageous transfer prices and by doing so we were able to slot in almost every hour of downtime coverage.
Wasn’t easy work alongside my fellow WvW leaders from various guilds, but it definitely payed off.
With the way WvW will be evolving in the near future , its almost a shame not to take the opportunity and strengthen what has already been built, the community.
I can definitely see the downfalls against opposing servers but at the end, it provides a very great challenge intensive to those that want to match up because without innovation, coordination, and stability, wvw would never be this competitive.
I’ve had a great time facing so many renown guilds and working alongside guilds like: RG,TSYM,AGG,MERC,ONE,DIE,ND,HB to name a few, it has challenged not only the community leaders of our WvW structure, but the way we run on the field with adaptation never at rest.
Many more exciting match-ups to come sure enough.

It seems that somewhere along the line you folks in JQ became so fixated on being #1, that you’ve forgotten most of the fun in WvW is a good balanced fight.
All I’m concerned with is improving the benefits of our server. For almost every guild that has joined JQ, they have stayed. Clearly we are doing something right.
Fact is, like I mentioned before, Tier one consists of the top contending guilds with the best coverage hour wide, if your server cannon field numbers at a given time, you will loose PPT thus loosing overall score.
Many guilds out there want to join servers that can uphold the tick when they log in, seeing as why we received so many oceanic. All we did was give them the run down, how our situation really is, and what we can offer if they consider us.

Do not let this thread trick you into thinking JQ need more players.
They now have a stacked server with long queues on every map, and are trying to get to an “invincible” state of the server via outnumbering everyone after being outplayed for so many months.
They do not need more guilds or players, look at the scoreboard.
If you want competition, look to another server.
1st and foremost, Tier one will naturally have guilds with the most amount of numbers and coverage. It’s the way of the Tier progression. The fact is we DON’T have ques during our NA lunch hours(EU times) and Sea/Oceanic times. On top of that, our NA prime-time ques are Only 10-15 minutes
All my leader colleagues and myself took the opportunity to reach out to those guilds that WANT the competitive play without loosing all their gains overnight.

I must absolutely give you props on super solid job with your recruiting. I do not enjoy playing against all of your recent efforts. I totally understand you are not the only GL/Commander recruiting from JQ, but I have seen nothing but the up most grace and dignity you have represented on behalf of your server’s community.
Hopefully we, over here on SoS, can do half the job you have done to help ensure strong, epic battles week in and week out against each other. And we fail, and drop a tear or 2, I believe my server’s community will only get stronger for having faced such a grand adversary not only in game, but also on the recruitment threads.

Thank you for the kind words. It’s been a hectic couple weeks and countless hours speaking with all interested guilds but the benefits definitely payed out!
I’ve enjoyed fighting against SoS ever since you guys joined our match-up and all of the consecutive wins inspired us to move forward!
