EMP is undefeated no more in GvG, wtfpwned by CDS of SoR.

How do you consider 1 kitten match a win? We play best out of 5/7/9.

Both guilds concluded it was a wash and a reschedule will be determined.

There are reason’s why we limit the amount of chatter on forums.

In regards to the “CDS GVG Video”, it was unplanned and uncoordinated. I’m not here to draw up further semantics, but the facts are we didn’t have time to set up. It was unprofessional, the leader refused to correctly coordinate with us nor did we have time to correctly display the fieldwork. The only communication we recieved was when the “match” was started.

EMP is here to have fun, and most importantly make things fair. GvG’s are fun if we can sit down and meet on agreeable terms with both parties but at the end of the day, we play for the server and the PPT. I can go on about certain elements of the unjust and exclusionary evidence of that “gvg video” but at the end of the day, it wont prove anything and it’s just unfortunate that this debate has been going on 5 pages into this thread.

We want a fair and a modest fight. . If we loose, we want to loose in respect under the jurisdictions of rules set forth by the courtesy from both guilds

The end goal is to promote healthy rivalry and respect, like guilds we faced in the past. Choo/HB/Tsym/ICoa/VoTF so we can create other possible structured events, not sever them.

We lost to VoTF fair and square and you don’t see us bickering about it over forums. Heck, We even posted a video about that loss.

So let us please clean up this threat a bit and keep the fight in the arena.

This is why we are very disinterested in working with TW. We cant even have a conversation without some backended remark or random video that has nothing to do with the situation.

We have a nice collection of screen shots/videos etc of all the slander figureheads from TW but the thing is, we dont care. We just want to have fun. We don’t throw up little remarks or post pathetic videos of a megazerg to justify our claims.

The reason why we do GvGs is to build respect, show sportsmanship across all the guilds we encounter. We respected all the guilds that have set up with us
(VoTF/ICOa,Choo,HB,TSYM) because they are civil about it and are reasonable.

Quite frankly at this rate, TW is the last guild we ever want to set up with. The sooner we drop this petty subject the better. Its not worth the time.

This wasn’t a GvG, this was just NA Primetime yesterday, with alot of 3way fight, and is not TW vs EMP. TW didn’t show for the GvG time. Then they wanted to play the GvG at NA primetime when EMP was Defending JQBL xD. And the zerg from SoR is more like TW, Fear, Hel and anothers guilds in SoR, not only TW

You forgot the 9 times we wiped you in Hills/Lake/Water subsequently following the leader bashing our commanders for a frantic GvG to refuel the chest thump meter during NA prime time 2 hours past our intended schedule!

AWESOME fights EMP. Very good fights. Even when one side won, it was very very close each time.

As Indo leads the server meetings that happen before reset, I doubt they’d be participating on a reset night, especially since tomorrow there is also a server event planned before the reset.

You should double check with him or one of their officers.

Unless i got the wrong TW/TWL i’m sure they are participating. Multiple officers/cmders told us they were interested and will be there.

you’re free to think what you wish, i’m just letting you know the reason why our GM didn’t list them in the guilds that we want to fight.

You say you respect TW as players and would love to fight them, but then turn around and refuse to include them in the list of guilds you want to fight. I mean you do realize there are third person parties you can go to, to communicate.

your post makes it seem as if i made my statements previously, and then somehow made the list myself. i did not, my GM made the list, he was the one who recieved personal attacks from members of TW, not me.

To be clear, I am not a leader, nor an officer in the guild, I am a member, nothing more. When i say that we have respect for TW, that is the opinion of me, and several others in the guild, but when your GM decided to personally attack my GM with whispers, he closed a door that cannot be so easily reopened.

Do you want to GvG EMP? maybe someone from your guild should make a post saying that instead of “witty” remarks about precursors. I am really trying to keep this diplomatic, so please try and do the same.

So does EMP want to GvG against TW tonight or any time that we can get together? Send me a PM whether yes or no on the forums as I’m at work right now so we can set this up.

If any other guild would like to set up something as well send me a PM here first and then in game. I promise to keep the names of people to myself to keep away from any trolling.

No no, just trying to get some fun battles in for those who like and enjoy them since we don’t currently have a specific GvG mode. By all means everybody should keep up the great work in the WvW .

We’re down to do GvG’s tomorrow 2 hours before reset to any guild that shows up! Lobby will be set at windmill ramp south camp on Jade Quarry Borderlands.

Preferably keeping match-ups to sizes between 20-30 and about 9 rounds. Let me know if you can make it and if want to know more about the details.

Yea sorry I mean SEA… I have another accoun and Im thinking whether to move it to JQ or BG depending on which server has more filipino guilds/players that I can join. So far I know BG has Urge while JQ has Exitializ. I’m only considering strictly wvw with Filipino’s. I’m not going to spy or whatever for SOS.

I’ve seen more [Omen] than [Exi] in wvw; maybe join them instead if you ever get into JQ.

Edit: Ofcourse [Urge] in BG is looking for more wvw focused players.

I like this. Not sure the enemy tag color is necessary by any means, but throwing the emblem onto the guards and maybe having the guild tag put onto the end of their name could be pretty cool, and the chat notice/reward bonus for guild defenders is nifty.

Also enjoy the ability to see guild names via banner mouseover. That’s something I’ve really wanted to see.

Not even sure if this will get our or even be considered but due to all the time I have spent slaving away in WvW in hopes for the new changes, I would like to suggest some interesting ideas that could easily bring together the competitive/hardcore player base WvW is looking for.

A bit about me, I’ve been leading and managing one of the biggest WvW International guilds in (NA) since release and since my time on the borderlands I’ve come to understand a great deal of WvW and how it is operated. Without further to do, I have listed a few innovative, simple, and intuitive ideas that could greatly benefit the guild demographic in WvW commitment!

Guild Benifits & Claiming

• Guild Keep/Tower ownership banners displayed guild name while highlighted.
• Fortification NPC mobs with “guild decals” exe. Veteran “Guild name” Guard.
• Guild chat notification when claimed fortification is under attack
• A specific enemy tag color when in proximity to the defending guild “Purple tags instead of RED”
• Special Icons above guild defenders? Possibly guild logo + shield?
• Increased influence/exp/karma/gold while holding down fortifications, minimum base bonus over time and grows according to how many guild defenders are present during a rappel.

I feel like the top 2 alone will bring more reason for guilds to get more involved. Sucks holding/upgrading/investing hours on end without any recognition whatsoever besides a unknown guild emblem.

Thank you Anet if this is at all in consideration! I’ve spent several hours talking among my fellow guild (400+ active WvW members) and we’ve all decided that these modifications could do wonders in this game mode!
