elder dragons don’t reproduce, and are one-of-a-kind individuals, so they wouldn’t even have someone/something to mate with. thus, they are genderless.

Its unavoidable for some dungeons. Like path 3 in Ascalon Catacombs. I’m not sure how you’re able to complete that one without a full DPS only group, which naturally means some less DPS centered classes would get excluded.

Just did all 3 AC paths with 4 tanky Guardians and 1 support Engi. Dps doens’t go lower than that.
I have done all the dungeon with every combination imaginable, including CoE with 4 rangers and a mesmer.
I agree paths like CoE 1 are easier with 4 guardians and a Dps, for example. But saying it’s not doable without specific class combination is a huge exaggeration.
Sword mesmer is the solution to all your problems.
You have to learn to melee-kite and time your dodges/blurred frenzies though.
I prefer another sword in off hand for extra survivability/burst (riposte).
But seriously, you do great aoe damage and can survive any burst timing your distortions. Soaking sustained damage isn’t much problem either since you have permanent regeneration if traited (you are always in melee range close to your phantasms). Secondary weapon GS of course, since you don’t have condition damage and Iberserker is a wonderful aoe nuke. Though Staff might have some merit with the boons and defensive qualities.

You have to roll a new character and wait 30-60 minutes for a witch hat. Maybe in a year you will get ~8000 to get a lvl 80 green in the forge.
You can get any amount of horns you want instantly. Think about it.

Horns don’t work because you can get an unlimited amount of them.
It was hotfixed the first day because you could get infinite items using the forge.
It’s hard to predict.
The mad king set will not be available once the event ends, but the skin is not unique to it. So no one really knows if there is gonna be demand for the set once the event is over.
I guess you never played an MMO, expecially during an event, if you truly think this event is beautiful and worth. Nice to know you’re having fun, enjoy.

Clock tower is the most fun I have had in my recent memory. Everything else is great too.
Look down. Far down.
If you see a plataform with a chest, jump there (don’t open that chest) and keep climbing to the top.
If the plataform with the chest is already covered in goo, then jump to the right of the plataform; the next path will spawn there before you land (if it hasn’t spawn already.)
I always wait for the fatties to go first and then I start with the goo on my feet.
I still make it in time, you must be doing something wrong.
Also a tip: In the faith leap, if it took you too much time to get there and the plataform with the chest is covered in goo, you can jump directly to the plataform after that one.
I do that most of the time (due to taking my time waiting for the fatties).
Even a few Flame Legion or corrupted (not Risen!) harpies or something would make for some variety.
Heck, I’d even settle for some dragon-halfs or something. The last few days worth of gameplay have just been “See Risen… Kite so he comes towards and you don’t activate a bunch of them.. kill.. rinse and repeat”.
Love the game, but it’s getting tedious!

Yea! People that beat the clocktower should get some sort of title like… “Wasted my life” or “Sir Brags-a-lot”. It’d be nice to label the people I wouldn’t want anything to do with!

Dude it’s an “achievement” for a reason. If you are noob enough to not be able to get it, just deal witht it.
Else try harder, almost everyone can do it.
I am terrible, terrible at platforming games.
it took me 4 hours to complete the puzzle.
After that I finished it 5 more times… it’s just so fun… in a masochistic, psychotic way. Love it.
That being said, it’s just a matter of practice. What took me 4 hours the first time, now I can do it in 15 minutes, take a break and try later guys, it’s doable.
I loved every second of the 4 hours it took me to finish.
So much rage and laughs…
Just keep trying. It’s hard, but if I could do it, anyone can with a bit of perseverance.
If you are getting frustrated, just look at all the other guys falling and laugh at them!
