From what is sound like is you have to fight Giganticus Lupicus in his room and can’t lure him back anymore?

I wasted so much candy corn on a broken event that was later fixed. I want a refund on my candy corn. This is unacceptable and has ruined the Halloween event for me.

How many people here haven’t bothered to read dev comments? All of the halloween content hasn’t even started yet… it’s not like what we’ve seen so far is everything. Try reading once in a while… the mad kings kingdom hasn’t even opened up yet. The best content of the event isn’t going to start until the 28th.

I don’t know why I bother to log into the forums… the vocal majority seem to be the least informed and the most presumptuous.

There is maybe 1% of actual player base that posts in forums? Maybe? 99% of the 1% is kitten kitten complain kitten and moan.

I opened 17 got 5 keys from those 17. 23 total I got 2 skins. So i highly doubt people opened 200 and got 0.

You don’t have to spend real money for gems. You can convert gold to gems. Nothing in this game requires you to buy cash shop items. You aren’t inhibited in anyway in this game buy not buying gems.

Other f2p games actually require you to purchase items to either let you advance go to special areas or just become way op.

It’s really annoying hearing people complain that they need to buy gems in order to do this or that. No you don’t it’s all optional and doesn’t affect you in any way if you never buy gems.

Oh and look at WoW (yes bringing it up) you pay a subscription and they still put mounts and pets and items in the cash shop.

There will be a trail of candy corn, smashed pumpkins, and zombies that lead you to each place.

Well I’m level 80 and pre-ordered the game. I have friends who can’t play much and are sorts of levels. I’m glad they can participate with me in a group.

I don’t feel like im entitled to anything special.

7g, but I have The Legend staff to make Bifrost plus half the materials. That gives me what 300-400 gold maybe 500? depending on the market.

The best game I’ve played with “skins” or appearance is EQ2. There was an actual slot for each piece next to the actual equipment.

I hate to transmute some items because I want multiple looks. Forces you to either take gear with the wrong stats your using, create another exotic, or just keep transmuting over said piece.

Have you ever tried swapping weapons in real life? Not just dropping them and picking up another.

Try swapping from a great sword to a sword and shield and then back without just dropping them and bending down to pick them up. Takes a awhile.

I got 3 from a yellow with a fine salvage kit. So seems to be even better lol

They are bought from Vendors. Any tailoring vendor sells them. You are buying the inscriptions. You use those and “discover” like normal. But since they are for level 400 tailoring you don’t actually gain any xp.

I am sure the answer is no it doesn’t but hoping it’s a yes.

Does Bifrost make your sickle blade on staff turn into a rainbow? Or is it still black?

I try to not spam 1 but many other games where 1 isn’t auto attack so i am used to hitting 1 a lot.

I’m pretty sure most of the major npc’s in game can’t be recreated. I came close to here face but something is always off.

So you are complaining that:

A) you need to target something to use it?
B) Can’t cast it if you aren’t facing them?
C) It was fixed so now it’s broken?

Sounds like some people here made builds entirely based of a signet which even with cool down reduction still has a long cooldown.

God forbid yo have to target something now to use a skill that should of been that way to begin with.

All they need to is is make it so you shoot rainbow hands of death!!!

After searching google and these forums I am having a hard time finding armor stats.

I am interested in the different stats combinations for gear between lv30-70. I already know what exotics are. Does anyone know of a link that tells you the different combinations for non-exotic crafted?

As an example: Malign gives this, rejuvenating gives this.

True I could experiment but I do not have the material nor the money to buy the items to test them all.

I had an OP somewhere about it. Essentially happened to me 3 times. Since then it hasn’t happened.

It kicked entire party but at least nothing was reset.

I have done ac countless times. I took a bunch first timers in last night. We did Ghost Eater.

One of the harder fights for a first timer is Kholer(sp). There were deaths and a few wipes. What I saw though was people learning. They figured out what his different attacks looked like. You can explain something to death and never understand it till you see it in work.

Now that they know it will be an easier time the next time they do it.

I enjoy going with new people having them learn. It a different experience and I sometime shave to work at staying then just blowing through it half assed and surviving.

Oh and the beside me (lv80) the highest level in party was 38.

Anyone having issues with quoting? Why can’t I quote from page 1 of a thread if there are multiple threads? Why do I have refresh multiple times for quote option to even appear?

Is it intended this why or just buggy?

I tried WoW for kitten and giggles. I died. Forgot you can’t move and cast on there. SoI face planted when I ran straight into a boss thinking I could drop a well and dodge out….

Thanks for the input. I work at a Private company that has around 100 people. We have one programmer. He wrote the majority of the software we use.

When things break in the software it can take him hours to fix it and he knows the entire code and what it all does.

So I have no issues with Anet and how they are handling issues. There biggest concern for them and it should be is bots/hacking/security.

My experience of coding revolves around websites HTML4/5/Java. Even though it’s “easier” one change can break other parts and you may not even be aware of it till it’s pointed out.

Sometimes this can be true. I am not claiming I am a coding master, I am far from that. What I can say is that coding isn’t just black and white. Changing one part of code can break or mes sup another part of a code. Fixing that part can break another part.

Cut Anet some slack. They are people as well and can’t sit there 24hr a day 7 days a week coding. It’s a big task and they are working on all the bugs. You have to make sue fixing A doesn’t break B or C or D etc.

Nothing is ever perfect. I can’t say with 100% certainty that WoW or older more established MMO’s don’t break. I am sure they do they just tell you everything they fix.

Remember Dynamic Events have a lot going on in a coding sense. The interact with environments, players, times, other NPC’s, and mobs. Not to mention everything else you don’t see.

Sure the DR system doesn’t have all the kinks worked out but it will in time. It is another system that has a lot of interaction and a lot of parts to it.

I also think that the majority of the people that are complaining over and over on the forums is a small % of the actual player base.

Take a chill pill, sit back relax everything is being worked on. It may take longer then WoW but remember WoW is a billion dollar company Anet isn’t. If you can’t wait then go play something, but a new topic about the same issues every 2 seconds doesn’t help much.

Make sure you get first in for story mode!

By the time you hit 80 you will have extra skill points. Plus every time you “ding” 80 you get another.

Actually I noticed something the other day while in queensdale. I was fighting to ghosts that both blocked at the same time. As I swung my dagger at one both blocked multiple times.

When there block was over I was only hitting one of them. So something is.

Are heals affected by Crit% and Crit damage?

I am on crystal desert. I went to crystal desert boderlands and 2 days ago we were blue. I had all of our poi’s and vistas done. We our now red and I have to go get all those Poi’s and vistas again.

How is that not resetting? Our zone in is the same place.

Is the only way to get all the Poi and Vistas in WvWvW for 100% completion is by server transferring?

Not to mention every week if you don’t get all them they just reset and you have to start over?

If you want him dead just put him into a cut scene, or make her invulnerable till he dies.

Like I said tho, it has happened 3 times and only with her nowhere else.

Okay. We were really close to having her dead and the guy still alive. wanted to see if anything special happened if he doesn’t actually die.

We usually do Forward/Up First. I just find that it happens on the mesmer boss everytime. Will try Up/Up today instead first and see if it still happens.

Haven’t seen a thread about it and have bugged reported it. I am just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

When Fighting the Mesmer boss when she hits about 25% health for the first time the whole party gets an error that kicks us out of the game entirely.

The dungeon doesn’t reset but you have to start all over again.

Does this happen to anyone or have I just had three random game errors on the same boss?

When running around on my necro I use scepter/dagger. I have condition damage gear. in Pve the mobs fall fast. I can easily have 15 stack of bleed in a few seconds and a couple stacks of poison.

At 80 because each bleed is doing 105 and im not 100% exotic yet and I’m not total precision line either. Condition damage is very viable for PVE.

And in Well of Suffering and even veterans fall quickly.
