Did it used to have an animation? I just got one the other day and it looks darn cool as it is. An animation would make it even cooler. Why indeed.

I also agree that the staff should have a similar look instead of the current (boring) appearence. I wouldn’t want it to be a carbon-copy of the Trident (there are a few weapon sets that have the Staff / Trident exactly the same and thats lame) but something with a similar glowy feather motiff for the Staff would be nice.

I am sure the feathers used to rotate.

Is there a speed cap?

I have:
Signet of Air = 10%
One with Air = 5% faster every 10 seconds you are attuned to air. maximum 25% bonus movement speed.
Windborne speed = You and allies gain swiftness, while curing crippled, immobilized, and chilled. __ 33% Movement speed.

Now my maths gets that to 68%

BUT

If i use Windborne speed when with allies who have no speed buffs, we all run at the same 33% speed. (It seems)
Even though i have Signet of Air and One with Air which together equal 35%

Can someone explain to an idiot (Me) what the max speed i can run at

RE-vamp the basic requirements to run the game.
I would just like some feedback from the ppl who make the game, how to make it run smooth without problems and to make it do what is advertized.

I think the title says it all.

I’ll keep it short, becouse it takes me ages to type and by the time i have finished slagging the game I have calmed down.

I only come on here when i have connection and Lag issues.

At the end of the day i dont think is the game at fault, it’s the management of it.

Is this down to ArenNet or has it been shafted by NcSoft?

I do hope someone from arenanet aswers this question, becouse i think its an issue with the internet connection between the US and Europe.

All my speed tests around europe are OK. (from UK)
When ever i do a speed test to anywhere in the US the results are kitten, I get faster speeds on my phone.

So the question is:

Are there any plans to get Servers based in Europe?

In Game Discussion, put a opic called: General or None of the above.

Something that gives a place where ppl can put stuff that they don’t think fits in the topics you have there.

I am getting Blo**y P***** O** with LAG.

WvW is NOT PLAYABLE with LAG.

Can somone tell me a remedy for this.

This was a FANTASTIC game to play when it first started.
I could give it nothing but prase.
I thought it was the bee’s knee’s
I thought it was the bench mark of future online games.

Now it just gets slower, slower, slower, slower, slower, slower, slower, slower, slower.

Ok, i have calmed down a bit so I will go do 3 speed test before I post this.

1. UK Local : Ping = 7 ms, d/l = 57.99 Mbps, u/l = 4.89 Mbps
2. EU Germany: Ping = 34 ms, d/l = 10.36 Mbps, u/l = 4.8 Mbps
3. US Texas: Ping = 124 ms, d/l = 1.91 Mbps, u/l = 4.35 Mbps

Oh dear it seems I can upload faster than I can download from texas, may be I should hoast the EU servers.

They reset at 7 EST, which is 4 PST server time. Everything in the game re-sets at this time. This is when Dailies/Monthlies reset. This is when chests reset. Dungeons, everything.

It has always been like this. So unless you live where Midnight falls on that time it has never been midnight.

Anyone know which are 24 hours and which are daily?

It pis***s me off to do a jump puzzel that cpuld take 2 hours to do, only to find ther is no prize at the end.

Basicaly it seems I should only do them every 2 days.

Daily or 24 hour whats the diference?
Daily = I play GW2 Daily. 24 Hours = I play GW2 every other Day.

I have noticed quite an increase in commanders now, and sometimes we have a few on together.
I had an idea (verry dengerous), maybe arenanet could (If you have the book of corse) put in an option on the create squad to join as lieutenant (different colour), so you get an icon (different colour) that the main commander can send/direct ppl to.

I know this is what is done at the moment with all commanders showing the commander icon, but it would give those ppl not in command an idea of who has what roll in the event.

Just one of those silly ideas i woke up with this morning.
Wondered if anyone els has thoughts on it.
I meen as time goes on the place will be full of commanders and some thing might have to be done in the future

Re-Set Times, which is it?

24 hours?

I am sure some of the Jump Puzzels I did early on in the game re-set at midnight.
I am finding now that I have to make a note of when I last did one so that I can make sure 24 hours have passed before I do it again.

Some days i am on late and I do a jump puzzel, next day i am on early and won’t be able to get on later, so that day I cant do the jump puzzel.
This means some times I am only able to do some Jump Puzzels every 2 days.

Have changes been made?
What re-sets at midnight?
And
What re-sets every 24 hours?

I think i should have w8ed untill after the update before i replied. hahaha

I thought it was a simple rule, you cant atack when in stelth mode.
I have no problem with a thief being invisible, the thief can sneek and hide from me all it likes.
But when i am being hit by one, don’t you think I should know about it?

It seems then, when i get ataked by a thief, I go and make a cup of tea.

Maybe those that disagree with this argument can tell us how to survive an attak? Oh wait, I know the answer, dont be an elementalists whith a staff. Be a Thief, Mesmer or Ranger like every one else. haha

When you finish off an enemy, isn’t this a weapon/killing skill?

Who thinks the Thief should be visible when it is doing this?

Everyone else has to stand there vunreble while they do it.

While im on about Thiefs are you sure there stelth aoe is limited to 5 ppl, i have been in big groups and the Thief seams to vanish for everyone.
