A Warning to the nice girls of KN:

One day, you will be all hanging with your dolyak, upgrading your tower, maybe running some supplies to your keep or tower… when a BG zerg of Bad Boys is going to come rolling up on you. They will have their big ballistas, and their scruffy hair, maybe an eye patch or a pirate hat. They will wink at you, wave, maybe do a bow, all to get your guard down. Then they are going to ask you to come back to their keep, so you can see their superior flame ram. Flattered, you roll on over to BG’s keep, in the desolated swamp lands… and as you go in… you will be slaughtered by their superior arrow cart. As you lay dying, in the doorway, they will swagger up to you, all hotness, give you that smirk you know so well and say… “Nice loot bags baby, you need to be on your way.” And as you waypoint back to your keep, heart broken, body bleeding, you will have grow a tad bit wiser and a little loot bag lighter.

Or, that could just be what Pot did to me.

I also thought the FA NA crew tonight did a nice job using the timer to their advantage. You all were consistently able to flip camps just in time to get the points and for us to not have enough time to flip them back. When the scores are separates by 5-10 points its great tactics like this which make a big difference. Nice job, FA bad boys!

I read about the community and how the server was being named, and I didn’t see a huge connection between Anet and “OldRoar” Rall. The community of Gaiscioch mailed Anet letters asking for the server to be named, and then went there as a community after Anet did so. Not the other way around. Unless I’m missing some secret conspiracy connection? Looks like Anet did what they did to honor a fall gamer, who didn’t even play the first Guild Wars.

I personally, have not heard that rumor. And I’ve been in the TC Vent for the past week with over 100 different people, and not one person has even come up with that statement.

Let’s just end that discussion here, since it will only lead to worse feelings between the two servers. And now of course, that ‘rumour’ is out there, I hope it doesn’t go too far.

I know, and I only speak for myself, I am pretty frustrated right now. Am I hoping SoR moves to Tier 1? You betcha. However, it is what it is. We just have to deal with it right now. Do all the servers dance/jump/laugh on corpses? Yep, I’ve done it myself to a few BG people. Do all the servers have the individuals who do things.. which, maybe they shouldn’t? Yep, it happens, no server, guild, or individual can control what another person does.

Where I understand TC’s frustration, I also see SoR as probably not having a ton of fun either. It’s not fun owning everything. I mean, it is… but it’s not. Great, I can get world completion, but isn’t the point of WvWvW to fight other people. SBI probably isn’t having a good time either. So let’s just call this a week of learning opportunities for everyone and rebuilding weeks for some servers.

I have no issues with people doing the jumping puzzle, I do have issue with people spamming team/map chat for help to defend the jumping puzzle. Even that isn’t that bad, if, when the chips are down and the keep/garrison is about to fall they would actually come help. But you ask them to help, and you get this typical answer.. “Oh, I don’t WvW”. I slam my head on the desk every time I read it. I think I may have a concussion.

FA and BG in Tier 2 for TC? Ugh. I’m going to go cry into my pillow just based on that prediction! :P

I’m on TC, spend most of my time in EB, and I don’t ever see anyone in EB selling seige. This is not a common TC practice, from what I know (and I’m there pretty much every night, and some morning, depending on school). While I think you are within your rights to sell seige as you see fit, did you even notice all the times we were struggling against Blackgate? A struggle to even just hold onto our keep, so we didn’t lose it overnight? I’m not saying you have to donate all of it to people, but how about placing a few pieces here and there in the keep. The keep is where YOU access the jumping puzzle. Maybe just drop a few pieces, sell a few pieces, etc? I don’t know
