Are people seriously kittening about being helped? The players of this game kitten me off sometimes. Incredibly ungrateful jerks.
dude… you are just incredibly short sightened if you dont understand the problem here…
the fun is searching and finding all karkas by yourself
but if you show people (who didnt specifically ask for help) the locations of the karkas then you steal them the whole fun!!!use your brain before making a post pls
Thank you. Someone here has a brain.
It’s called helping when others ask for it. Doh.
Here’s a spoiler : Zaithan dies. Ooh, i shouldn’t have said that, sorry for spoiling your day.^^
You can help by whispering the person who asked.
OR, you could just avoid map chat on the first day of a major patch when a new puzzle has been introduced under the expectation that this is the exact sort of thing that is going to happen. Because of course it is.
Not in “The Secret World” where the community is much more mature and puzzles are a big part of mission mechanics there.
I mean, are you actually asking for, “Then go play Secret World?” And I guarantee it’s really not more mature, but whatever. Live in your own fantasy land and believe whatever you want. It won’t change the fact that this is no one’s problem but yours and ANet will never do anything about it, nor should they.
Oh no, ANet most definitely should do something about these GRIEFERS who spoil new content.
I shouldn’t have to sacrifice being social just because some kitten kids want to ruin the fun for people who like to explore.
Actually, yes you should. If you want to play your way then you have to allow others to play their way. If that means having a conversation in a channel specifically designed for such conversations then you have to respect that. If those conversations interfere with you then you need to be willing to close that off.
I personally also like to explore, and wouldn’t you know, I was able to do it with Map Chat on, and it still didn’t interfere nor ruin anything for me. I just didn’t read the conversations while I was on the hunt. This is 100% your problem, and no one else’s.
Do people know what common courtesy is anymore? You don’t spoil new things publicly. No way.
It’s called helping when others ask for it. Doh.

Can we please ban them, ANet? Institute a 3-week ban on public spoilers of new content.
or how about you turn off map chat? I find that a simple solution.
It is called common courtesy to not spoil things.

Maybe this whole trait redesign was a cleverly constructed ruse to get our minds off duration increase nerfs?

It says it affects 5 targets. What do skills like this that affect enemies and allies generally do?
Can we make this a bannable offense please?
Snape kills Dumbledore. (AKA go to an IRC channel.)

I think it is only expensive because they charge $$$ for item space in the game as-is. “The Secret World” only charges for content and extras, not “necessities.”
How about free bag slots with purchase?

The price is too high with your already VERY aggressive monetization scheme that leaves new players with a very small amount of space to store items. More free bank space would be good, too.
I bought it, though. Still, “The Secret World” has a much fairer buy-to-play system that doesn’t require you to spend $$$ for inventory or bank space.
So, Devs, why can’t you just go back to the Manifesto and make world boss event spawns truly random so as to promote exploration and a sense of wonder? This is the main reason I haven’t been playing. It was bad enough when you could time the boss spawns using third party tools, but now that you know when they will spawn is just ridiculous. I tried asking 9 months ago.
Make them non-guild specific. <3.
I’d let a 6 year old play this. I was playing DOOM and Killter Instinct at 6ish.
I’m very disappointed with ANet’s response to this. If it is not information released on the official site, abusing said info should be insider trading.
Plus 1, verily, I do sayeth.
Grrr. No more money spent on this game. Telling everyone to not get it.
Found what you are talking about.
Yeah. I’m not gonna spend money until they revert the New Player Experience… our NGE

Ahhhhh. This summarizes it. This.
Uhhh, what happened in FP2 to make you all angry?
Why are you betraying the people who bought the game based on your manifesto? Being able to know when stuff will happens ruins the living and dynamic world.
I’m afraid of getting kicked from more groups for being “slow” when all I want to do is not exploit. Happens in every game where exploits become common place. If you don’t exploit, you get kicked or people avoid you.
Please fix the exploits so I can enjoy Fractals without feeling peer pressure to exploit.
NCSoft should have killed ANet, not Paragon Studios. q.q
I was about to quote that. Really, this is kind of pathetic.
That is not an IRC channel, idiot.
Certainly would help to look for specific levels.

A raging fanboy killeded them all.
It is past 5:00 PM. I think they forgot about the blog post and us.
… of unpredictability
I think the big metas should be taken off fixed timers in order to bring more sense of discovery to the game, rather than log in every 4 hours for dragons.
What do you think?

Everyone is afraid to respond here because they don’t want their predictable, boring farms ruined. I hate having to feel I have to log in at x-time… so I don’t and miss out on a lot of loot. I’d rather things just come up as I explore, that would give me more incentive to play.

I don’t think it is in the spirit of your vision of an ever-changing world where you don’t know what the state is when you log in to have meta events, in particular dragons, have predictable spawn patterns.
