Monsters and Enemies are different they are on auto….you can most of the time slide past them. You cannot pass by a person behind a computer they get kicks out of attacking people every time they pass by. I have had one group of people come at me everytime I went through a PVP area before just to laugh at it…so since then I stopped doing them.

When you cannot get what you come to get cause you have groups of people camping the areas just to attack one person for the shear fact of thinking its funny. If they came to get the map completion why act like a bunch of morons and upset people just cause you think its funny.

There is the problem right there…I do not zerg cause I do not get loot or exp that way and loot goes to others more then it would if I was alone or with just my small group.

Just rounding a corner for a poi would get me killed by a group of 15 people or more that will just sit back and laugh wait til I come back and do it all over camping there just to get people down.

Does not help when getting the waypoints poi and such we get bullied and attacked by people that just find it funny to attack others for no reason. Thats all WvW and PvP is…and I have gotten no legendaries they cost alot of gold very very very much. More then I can ever gain. At any rate I think it should not force us to have to go through WvW cause I just do not want to have to face other people knowing I will never get the poi’s and such when all I will have is 12 people on one or two will get nothing that way.

I hate the fact that to finish world completion you have to go through WvW I never go in there cause its a free for all with people just beating on others to bully them like PvP….A Game is not gun when people just bully each other for no reason and with PvP and WvW in MMO like games that’s all they are and now QW2 forces people to go in and play the Massive bullying game that is WvW just to get world Completion. After I finish the PvE I think I won’t even think about world completion cause I refuse to be bullied in game when I try and get the things I need to complete the Maps. Bad Idea Anet Bad bad idea.

Ok I have seen someone talking about having more alt characters then 5 something like 64 of them. How would one get that many alts when the game will not allow more then 5. And creating another email account does not work since the serial is bound to the main account email. I am curious. Cause I see no way to get more then 5 names.

To be honest even at level 80 I will want it fair for those that are lower levels cause I actually have a heart and want the game to be fair all the way around for those that want to be apart of the new content.

I am still seeing it much different so I just stick with playing the game with my wife and not getting suckered into groups and zergs and such to find out that I have just lost so much more I can get solo….maybe when I get my characters to level 80 and my loot and exp are virtually useless…..I will play around with zergs and such then I will not mind giving my stuff over to a lower player being that I do not need it.

I do not have the program to record live gaming from the game but I do have screen shots. I will have to get her to send me the pic we took the other day.
That program costs outrageously.

I was once explained that experience was give out in a percentage which is exactly what I have been trying to say. If I kill a monster with my wife…I am suppose to get a percentage and she is suppose to get a percentage. As it stands I get a lower percentage being that I am a higher level then she is according to the exp she got and what I got killing one thing. So if a third person killed that same creature with us that person would get a percentage of that monster with us if that monster has 300 exp total we all get a percentage of that total according to our level. Thats what I am seeing happen. So if 30 people go out and get a creature and that creature has 8k exp then that 30 people is going to get a percentage of that 8k exp so not everyone will get the same exp only a percentage of the 8k so the less the people the more the exp. Depending on level. Which is the case of ALL MMO’s.

Yep read it…think its crap think its just another wiki that is trying to get us to believe something thats not true….I have seen different way different then what that wiki says and even what the Guild Wars 2 guide book says. I have SEEN it its no different then Rift or any other MMO from what I have seen. The more people you are with the less you get. Thats just the mechanics of MMO’s ALL of them. So I play with as few people as possible less there is no other option then I guess in those situations exp is not the prime objective to me.

Ok Why would I contact support for a question thats not support worthy? Its a MMO thats how Mechanics for a MMO are….its not a support problem. Its just how the game is made. ALL MMO’s are the same in that respect. So No I have not cause it would be redundant.

Not lying and nothing the company can do about what a MMO is and how the Mechanics of ALL MMO’s are. There is no way to change what it is made to be..its the game its how things are….I just think its really shotty to try and convince people and actually convincing people that these mechanics are really different when their not.

If you where suckered in every game you played you might be the same way. I know when I have seen things that are not true and watched as things happen in the game that are contrary to what I have heard and been told. So if you tell me one thing and I see another why would I believe I was not being suckered again. I watched as I get different xp and loot then my wife…I have watched as someone ran by tagged a monster and then I kill the monster and hardly get crap for it. If we all get the same loot and xp like everyone says why would everything come up different on my end or I get nothing at all…whether i hit it once or hit it 500 times according to what I am being told and what the game says it does I should get the same thing everyone else does but I don’t and this random crap on loot that leaves it the way I have said…if someone else plays with a group then there is a bigger chance of getting crap then working alone or with one other person and getting what you would not get working with a huge group. So yeah I feel like I am being suckered yet again in another game.

I have not recruited only people in my guild is my wife and My characters created it to get away with not joining others so no I have not recruited Kingmutez. I have 5 characters from level 27 to 77 but I wanted to be able to do the content with all my characters not just one or two.

So why is it that when I and my wife kill something I get something she gets nothing when she gets something I get nothing…if I go by what you all tell me we should both get something we should both get the same exp and we should both not have a problem leveling doing things together…but we do. Cause I see a split in exp between us I see her picking up loot and me getting nothing I see her getting nothing when I get something which means if I get it first she gets nothing if she gets it first I get nothing. Which means it is effected by what others do to it.

Do events Do hearts but I stay away from dungeons cause you need a crap ton of people to even get through them and I do not want my exp split amoung people or people tagging monsters and me getting nothing for killing and yeah I have heard that does not happen in this game but I have watched it seen it and proved it time and again. So I will get leveled up one day its no big deal. When I am level 80 and getting EXP means nothing I will start doing other things. Until then I guess I miss out on content and such cause I am not about to have to gather a group of people I do not know and give them my exp and loot.

Do them still gives me nothing 26 exp- about 126 exp which is little to nothing to a level 44 or higher.

It has taken me months to level up my characters….Cause of people helping and halfing my exp in half then I am helping My wife get started with a few of her characters and get half the exp killing things with her. Its alot slower leveling when others are helping.

Not exactly leveling that fast…cause I have tons of people helping and taking down the exp I would get if done solo.

Everything I read seems to show that people have to work together. And I won’t do it with people I do not know. Cause I like the loot and exp I get for my leveling. So I guess I was right to not do Dungeons even though I tried this one with my wife and got my butt kicked in like two seconds by the first two spiders case the content is for level 50 and above only.

Ok so This new content is only for level 50 and above as I have found out…so us lower levels are SOL when it comes to the content and finding out what happens at the end. The two spiders at the beginning kills lower levels with one to two hits so its relatively useless to bother with it. Sad though seemed like it might have been fun to do it.

I don’t get that…cause that would mean it would take forever to level up. If the mechanics are set like that the higher level you are the less XP you get…..and it would mean that it does effect the character to fight with others as well…cause they get more since they might be a lower level and getting more off the kill.

simplesimon: funny must be my class cause I have never seen that happen. I have killed that same thing you are killing in the pic by myself and gotten 46xp and when someone helped me I got like 23xp with a bonus of about what you got. So not sure why it would give you the same thing and not me. And not sure what other weapons I can use I have used every weapon I can.

Not the bonus and I have read that before. Still does not account for the decline in xp I have seen when fighting with others. But its not going to be seen cause to many people are set on what is being said on a page. The key to advertising a game is to tell people what they want to hear. They get involved with whatever it is and they never see the difference. So game companies and other companies for any product will say whatever they want to sale a product. Being thakittens not a big deal to most no one sees the ploy to sale a product. When those that know these skeems sees thakittens not true they pick it out. I have seen the decline in XP when fighting with others. Test it and post on the forums what you get. I am positive I have seen it.

Not what happens to me but ok guess something is bugged with my game then…cause if more people help me I see a decline in exp. shrugs I watch for that kinda thing in games so I do not join groups and guilds before I get to a high enough level to actually mean something. I seem to lvl faster alone then I do with groups cause of the more exp I get alone then I do with groups.

No am not talking about the Medals I am talking about not getting the exp cause its divided out between everyone helping to kill anything and everything in the game. I have seen it with my own eyes but again I know no one will believe it when I have seen it. I know I have killed things alone then killed things with someone else and gotten different exp for it. I have tried it a number of times with different characters I have…everytime its the same. So yeah a zerg would be like a exp bleeder.

I have heard all that before but have seen different many times I have received more fighting by myself then I have fighting in groups I have seen it. If I am to get the same as I would alone then why is it different when I fight with someone or more then one? I have watched it happen more then once. I can kill a Entin by myself and get 1,000 or over I fight it with someone I get nothing or half that…never 1,000 so yeah it depends on how many people yer with. I helped kill a Vet troll and got like a quarter of what I would have alone.

Ok yeah I know I am going to get flamed for this but I have to figure out why anyone would want to do it. I found out today a zerg is a ton of people running around mobbing events and such. Why would someone want to do that and get little to no exp cause its being divide out to over 20-50 or more players. It would take forever to level up that way less all of them where level 80’s and it did not matter. So really whats the use of it other then being a exp bleeder.

I have tested it Maulor. And to describe in detail I have killed a cave troll by myself gotten 200 xp for it by myself went with two people to do something and killed the SAME troll while the others stood back doing nothing and I got 50 xp and they told me they got about the same amount when I AM the one that killed it.

again I have watched it happen. But since no one is looking for it or even trying to see it it will never be seen. I have leveled up faster without parties and guilds then what I have seen guild members and party members I have seen. Cause they get less then what I do doing it alone.

Its not made up I know for a fact it happens I have watched it more then once. If I have seen it happen how can it be made up?

I started my own guild to keep from being pestered about joining a guild but there is no one in it cause I do not believe in taking peoples stuff nor will I. If I am forced to have to party I only do it when I cannot beat something by myself after at least 40 times I will try it myself alot before I ask for help cause I know they will get the exp alot and it will take down half of the exp I would have gotten alone.

Whats the point of guilds anyway? They take more then they give. Like all MMO’s be apart of guilds and parties they take away exp and loot and I have seen it happen here in GW2 anyway so I just stay away from them so I have no pride in them nor trust in them at all. Its just a way to make it take longer to level up.

yeah heard that before and experienced the falseness of it in this game and others. I have seen less XP and loot being taken when I am with a group. I killed a troll alone once when I killed the same troll with three people I got less xp and watched the loot get taken by another player. so yeah. Its a MMO thats how things are done first come first serve on the loot and split between every person on the xp.

So to get gold I am seeing you have to WvW and PvP and I do not do those things cause they are totally confusing and have to be in some big group of people shoving you to the side cause you are not good at it. WvW I have never done cause I can see that being worse then PvP.

I don’t group cause of the lack of loot and exp that I get by grouping up I need to level and it takes forever if I go with a group. cause the group gets most of it as it is separated around the group.

Hmmmm just seems like a bunch of cliques to me….gotta have this that or the other to be in a guild. Good thing I do not join guilds cause not one out there would get my help for treating people like crap just cause they do not know how to play or have the proper builds weapons or armour. Seems like high school again to me…lets pick at the weak kid and bully him into quiting. in the end the post is correct it is hard to make gold. I have never gotton over 2 gold with my characters and I am always doing the PVE’s and such things as the map events. Its very little gold if any cause the game forces a group to do everything and that group ends up taking over half of what you could have gotten in doing it yourself. So yeah its hard as hell to make anything unless you buy gems.

Lazmira I dodge and all still die when I am in a higher level area cause its for level 80’s not levels lower then that. And as for the website I read them and go in game just as confused as I was before I read it. Cause the Show me Email shows a circle that is not even open half the time. Them telling us what is going on and what things are does nothing with finding it and when they put it in a level 80 area its a waste of time for lower levels to go after it when its to hard even at an upscale to do anything. We do not have the armour or the weapons or the build to get through it.

superbeast….we have been through this already that show me email shows absolutely nothing other then a circle in a area thats covered up. So how would anyone know how to even get there. I have not done events since I started playing the game cause they are always to hard and places I cannot get to. Sorry but some of us are not fanboys and can just run through stuff like everyone else. I never played the first Guild Wars so I do not know nothing about it. All I know is that I die anytime I try the event content and half the time I cannot find it less I am dragged along by someone thats just going to take my loot and xp for partying them anyway.

And Zypher I do not do WvW or PvP I am not good at them tried them before. Lower levels and untaught players are just targets to people who will not give a crap about teaching them anything.

even upscaling a character that is lower level its still weak….it gets killed in like 2.5 seconds in a upper level area. And as for knowing where things are in Lions Arch its not like they shout at you as to what they are….If I did not see the WORDS that say its the dock to such and such I have not a clue as to what it was. I finally found out after 4 hours of looking and with help from someone that was not about treating people like crap like some of the people on this board. I just think that level upscaling is a waste of time when the character is not as powerful as a level 80 it would get destroyed. So I just hardly do the events. I did this one cause I wanted to vote thats all. The other stuff I won’t care about til I am level 80 thats how the game is built anyway.

hmmmm would help alot if I knew where the docks in LA where lmao I do not know where anything is unless I have gone to it before I know no names to any place less they are on the map when I am there doing PvE and finishing maps.

If the event is in a level 80 area and I am only a level 30 or so I will for sure die in like 20 seconds if not less then that. and looking around that show me area its way above my level plus there is no way to get around there.

I never did SouthSun Cove I have not done any of the events cause they are either wanting the character to be level 80 or I could never find how to get to them no matter what the emails showed me so just do not do them.Do the normal PvE thats right in front of me thats not impossible to find and just suppose to know where to go with the other stuff.

As I have said even with the ‘show me’ not sure how to get to the kitten circle that it shows me. Lions Arch is on the other side of the map. And it shows you a place that is not even uncovered so no way to get there.
