and people wonder why I say people are rude in this game….should not matter what class a person is people should let everyone play and not be plain out right bullies when it comes to someones class. So someone is not as good at the game then you…get over it and stop acting like yer “god” of Guild Wars 2.

Hard to make gold if you cannot defeat a Dungeons and it takes a whole guild to even do them. Tried one the other day suppose to be in a level 1-15 area and the place was all level 50 creature and swarmed you not easy. I am not the type of person that parties up with over 15 people just to win a Dungeon I do not know people other then my wife and I will not play with people I do not know since everyone I had tried to party with has been rude and pushy.

Hybarf it is not as easy as you think…..if you cannot stay on yer feet long enough to get to anything then yer not going to get crap. So what you say is a bit hard I know cause I have tried and could not get more then 2 points of interest and maybe one waypoint.

Simple answer for me……The reason I got GW2 was cause it was not pay to play…I will never pay to play anything and to be in a game that people get more just for playing I would stop playing and delete it from my computer period end of story. So I for one hate the idea. But hey opinions are like kittens everyone has one. lol

Don’t even bother with Map completion cause of the forced WvW to complete it but that is just me I won’t do anything pvp. So I will never know what legendaries even are.

Hmmmm never been Whispered anything about gold thats strange. What are they trying to do get you to go to a homepage to buy gold or is it all in game gold buying or something.

I will stick to not doing dungeon runs….Cause I have had nothing but horrible experiences with them and people I do not know.

Skill does not work like that for me. I got my butt killed more then once by a group of people thinking it funny to attack me in a group and that skill did nothing.

Last Dungeon I did was impossible to get through. So if the reward is good at the end then its a good reason. I have never been able to get through one. Maybe cause I won’t run with anyone but my wife cause everyone else just takes all the loot before I can actually get to it. I can’t stay on my feet long enough and not a soul helps other players out they just run off do what they want and leave people behind. So that just adds to the things i do not do in game…added to the list with WvW PvP and joining any other guilds other then my own that only has myself and my wife and two of our friends that do not play no more.

There is no skill in the book that will work against groups attacking one person or teams of more then 3 on 3 going after small groups. That is unfair. There is nothing that can help a person if people in a PvP type place can do when people just camp bodies til they get up and then take them down again for no reason. Its full of people being bullies and acting like they are to be worshiped for being wannabe alpha dogs. When these ‘Alpha Dogs’ actually face a person one on one instead of bringing their boys with them when they attack one person then it might be more fun.

Welcome to the reason I do nothing PvP in MMO’s. Their all unfair…including WvW and PvP in this game.

I have 5 character slots and not one of them have World Completion and most likely never will cause I will not nor will I ever do anything PvP I hate the stuff. I tried WvW and I could not stay on my feet long enough to get anywhere I think its lame to force PvE players to go into a pvp situation when they are just bullied. I was attacked by the same group 12 times they followed me around 60 on 1 tell me thats not bullying. Some people just want world completion and I think they should make it there if thats all you need that you can choose to be in a pvp state or not.

I did like my odd number points and it made my character work for me….now he is weak all of them are. Especially my Mesmer and Ele.

The topic is about recent patch nothing about PvP in general…..But as for 5 points being 1 yeah it messes up actually being able to spread them out and make a strong character. So it nerfs the character big time.

We only get 4 points now only 4 How is that +400 stat points. They went from giving us 1 point for every level or so to 4 points every 6-30 levels I fail to see how its the same. It made the stats weaker…we can no longer actually fill up one trait line and such. I am not even the only one that has seen the change effecting characters alot of my friends that play say the same thing including my wife who has always told me not to go on and on about things in the game. Yet she is going on and on about it too…saying it has made her characters weaker too. It has literally made it to hard to play…..god forbid going into the level 80 area’s and trying to play them now.

Alot of the changes have officially made the game unplayable…..The main one Trait points. My character sucks now due to the change and not being able to have all of our points and only have a few. My level 51 only has 4 points and when I place them he sucks hardcore. Its officially made my characters weaker then the lowest of foes on any map….there will be no completing even the easiest of maps the way it is now.

When I am given bad experience I stay away from what is giving me the bad experience period…why abuse myself like that….thats like banging my head against a wall knowing its going to hurt but do it anyway.

At one point about 6 months ago I was attacked in WvW by three commanders….seems helpful to me.

I have never had a commander help me they just run by like the rest of the people in the game….Its why I do not play PvP or WvW cause not a soul helps anyone anymore in games specially forced pvp/wvw area’s….I have for the most part totally stopped playing which upset my wife at me but what can I do when I have lost interest in the game cause I have already done all the PvE areas with most of my characters and the WvW and PvP are nothing but free for alls where I am on my back more then I am actually playing the game…if people actually helped people in MMO’s anymore maybe people like me would not think the way I have and do for the year or so I have had this game. But as it stands I still see all games PvP a way for people to bully others and a Commander? The head of groups that hunt down and kill low leveled people…so its part of the game seems cool to some people to treat us low levels and new to pvp players but its not cool to us who are forced out the game due to such things. I keep having those days where I want to come back but I find myself staying out and thinking I wasted my money on the game….good thing its not pay to play. Either way if I could have actually have did world completion I would have at least been happy with that part of the game but we are forced into a part of the game that is pvp. Does not seem fair….and not a soul in those places help anyone so there goes even completing that part of the game so whats the use.

I went in to check out the event for the first time in months….Got told I have to read cliff notes on Diffy.com so I dipped….Its not even worth playing much anymore. Gotta read rules to even play now….and to map complete gotta go into WvW where I will never get what I need cause I will get downed every 5 minutes. Not being able to map complete without being forced into a PvP situation ruined it for me a while ago…thought I would pick up just doing events and such and I get told I have to read the rules just to play the event. blah. The game just keeps getting better..good thing its not a pay per month game.

Then the drops are not specific like people are telling me. Either way I see Different then what I am being told so I just stick to my little group and if I get something that I think belongs to them I hand it over to them.

I now see the problem you THINK you are having. Say you are playing a heavy armor class and your wife is light. (example only) You loot a light armor chest piece. You now assume you “stole” your wifes loot.

Same thing in reverse. Your wife loots heavy armor boots and you assume she “stole” your loot. Am I correct so far?

What you fail to realize is that armor and weapon types that drop as loot are totally random. Sometimes you get something you can use, sometimes not. It was never meant specifically for you or your wife or anyone else for that matter.

I would think that was the thing thats happening but for one thing…I have been told from the beginning that loot is suppose to be specific for only us. If thats the case then it should be dropping what My current character is if it is specific. So if I am confused about anything which is making me think what I am its cause of what I a being told that contradicts everything that I see. Including the whole thing with XP. If we are suppose to get the same XP and it matters how long the monster is currently spawned then when i kill it with my wife we should get the same XP according to how I am hearing things. Either way if I am just confused and I am seeing something thats not happening its cause of what I am being told by others and its contradicting what I am seeing In-game 100%.

If you say so….I saw My wifes loot and to prove to her I could take it took it from her. But its a pointless thing to go over and over. I know what I saw.

And thats why I will never believe it…rudeness that happened to me on the board and in game as I watched it happen. Glitch or not it has happened more then once I watched it I don’t need someone telling me I am wrong I know what I saw. Matters little I do not have to listen to the rudeness.

Guess I will have to get some people together that I know that has the game. Cause I have seen people I do not know take stuff from me including xp but its cool. Thanks for the info about what to do.

I do not believe it cause I have seen different I watched someone take My loot more then once and I have seen XP split between Myself my wife and two friends when we where playing a while back. But like I said not getting into that fight. When i kill a monster and get 200xp and kill it with two other people and get 67 xp I know its being split. Its obvious. But no one pays it no attention cause its not important to most. But its important to me when I play a MMO I want my loot and XP cause its hard work I do not some leech player who stands around waiting for someone to kill something or jump in and take the credit for the kill.

Have to go in with groups in Dungeons and Fractuals I have 4 people in my guild and hardly any play and do not play with others cause I like My loot and XP and I have heard it before no one gets yer XP and loot blah blah I have seen different so lets not get into that fight again lol Crafting I have done a little but gets boring after a few hours lol mini games I have done their ok. The game has just gotten so repetitive. Its all about groups and such and I just play with people I know cause I would rather share my stuff with friends and family then with people I do not know and just hang around to leech off people.

Ok I left GW2 cause I got bored of roaming doing hardly nothing….Map completion was ruined when I found out I had to go to WvW to even complete it. I don’t do PvP cause its a free for all bully rampage in every game so what else is there to do in GW2 in between events? Or if yer not interested in the event thats up.

I do everything with just my wife….before she played I did it all alone cause I needed my XP and loot and did not want others I did not know taking it. I would much rather play most MMO’s with just me and my wife. Playing with big groups seem to water down the things we need. I would rather it go to my wife then anyone else just working with us to sap our loot and xp. If I had a few friends that played that I know outside the game I would play with them but other then that just alone or with my wife. Don’t trust others to help just to help I see them helping to get something from someone using them and running off.

Doubt that akamon I would be dead more often then I would be alive to get what I needed….as with all PvP area’s its just a free for all cutting down people to get their points or gratification or whatever it is people get out of attacking one person in a group of more then 5. I think on a fair level, If I was in a group and saw one person I would do my best to have a one on one fight keeping it fair not using my whole guild to take them down…that to me is just bullying and unfair treatment to people that if are solo are not after the PvP of it but to get what they need to complete the map.

If the point of playing the game was to be dead all the time would not be a problem but its not the point of the game so dying 99% of the time is a problem everyone on this forum would see no point in playing the game or any game if they where dying very time they stepped foot inside a game and you know it. If you can not do what the game intended then its a waste of time. If there is a goal in a game and you cannot reach that goal because of certain situations why even play it. I paid to get this game the least I can do is choose not to play certain parts of the game due to it being totally impossible to do without being forced into impossible situations.

Again no one is getting the point…point is the moment I go for a poi or something in wvw I will just get stomped so whats the use…there is no reason to do it if all it is is a free for all cause it will be like having a hundred risen in a small area where a skill point is and your trying to get the skill point and keep dying…If you have to rely on others to get it for you then you won’t get it at all cause they won’t stop and let you get it or help cause thats just how gamers are. They do what they want and use others for bait and such. I have been in PvPs before I stepped in wvw before it was nothing more then a nightmare. 5 minutes and I was finished I could not stay on my feet for 5 minutes every few minutes someones big zerg group took me out so why even try like others say…find my own zerg? Why so they can treat me like the outcast cause I am not in there lil cliq.
I have said what I came to say some agree that they WvW should not be apart of map completion some do not so be it. Not one of you can force me to go in there and do it if I did it would be to prove that 99.9% of the time in there would be me dead.

Just not going to go in there…I will finish the PvE and my story and be done with the character less a event comes around I want to look into.

My wife thinks we should try but I told her she can go in I am not going to waste my time having to rely on people thats going to just feed me to the wolves.

Be with a big party thats all I am hearing….trust people you don’t know when the human race by nature is cruel and unjust…I hate to say it but I would hate to have to prove that I would only be abused and used in large groups and taken from.

my server has no baring on myself and my wife trying to complete the maps cause not everyone in blackgate is going to stand up for their server mates so why is the server a big deal.
They will be just as much against me as the enemies.

TChalla want to know why? I do not trust others….people I do not know in games usually use me for bait or treat me like crap specially in PvP situations so I do not bother playing games with others I do not know if they are helpful thats one thing but I will not go to people.

A challenge yes an impossibility No….and for two people its an impossibility…..cause I am sure we would be on our own either way.

We are on blackgate and I am not giving up my guild to play with people i do not know…..They would just treat me like crap….I have seen it happen in this community over and over….want the numbers but treat the ones that do not play to their specifications like crap.

but other guilds would be my enemy in WvW so it would be full guilds against 2 people with us in the open cause we do not own a fort nor do we know how to own a fort or base….and would never be able to win a fight for one. So what would asking another guild to help do other then get us stomped. Its not the fact of dying its the fact of dying so many times that it becomes impossible to get the poi’s and waypoints and such. So why bother cause you would not be able to get them unless we actually took a base over which would be totally impossible since there is only two of us in our guild and other guilds would just wipe us all over the maps every time we stuck our heads out.

Problem is I do not have other ALLIES I do not play with anyone else….Just me and My wife sometimes but very few and far between two others that are very new and very low leveled. So we would be on our own…No help no allies nothing but targets so how would be even hold down a fort that we do not even own.

Just going to stay out of there and just finish the maps in PvE and move on to another character. When they are all done I will just use them for events that seem fun.

Won’t go into the loot and exp issue I have read the wiki but I have seen decline in both things when playing with others. the more people playing with me in my party or guild seems to cut down on what I usually would have gained I watched it I calculated it and it matters little.

As for the loot in WvW if someone kills me how can they get loot from me if its not from my inventory the loot table has to be getting it from somewhere its not just tossed out from no where….it is either mine or something makes no sense. Either way I started this post to vent that I would never finish the whole map cause I would never go into WvW…I think its silly to include it and force us into a PvP situation if we are not wanting to be in that situation. I for one do not like fighting with other people cause its never fair….its always low levels against high levels big groups against small groups or big groups against one person. I think it not fair…which is why I have never no matter how many games I have played have I down PvP type games.

So if someone attacks me I lose whats in my inventory too….now that is even worse then bullying….I need my loot I get in my inventory…..You can for sure count me out. Good thing I did not have anything when I went in there the first time those 10 people would have bled me dry. Did not say me specifically I mean solo’ers period. I just won’t go after Map completion anymore. cause I would never get it Cause WvW would be impossible to get the poi’s and such cause people would stop you everytime you tried after one. So why even try it would take a year just to finish 4 maps cause everytime you tried after a poi or way point or something you would never get it cause people would just stop you in yer tracks just to take your inventory.

and I would only have ONE team member which would be my wife.

Samhayn I have been second I walked in I was attacked by 10 people just cause I was standing there trying to figure out what the place was and how to play it….not one person even attempted to explain anything just decided I was a good target to attack then make fun of.

I would let them solo cause I am not into taking others exp and loot to be honest…unless its someone in my party which is my wife and close friends. maybe 4 people tops. If I saw someone just trying to get map completion I would let them pass cause thats all they are after.

If we have to do it to get Map completion then all I would want to do is get the poi’s and such why should I be forced to fight for my life every few minutes just to get map completion just cause people want to down a single player in big groups…if I was in a zerg or something I could under stand but if you have 15 people defending a place and ONE person comes up to get a way point why the heck would 15 people attack ONE person for no reason other then they want to see the person get mad. Its not capture the flag and you lose points for me getting a poi or way point….if so Not like I will be around long if I did go in there I would get what I needed and leave.

Seems most are not getting the point. If people actually played the game and did not bully others in groups for no reason then I would not mind playing PvP and WvW but their not for people running around attacking people for no reason other then to laugh that their 15 people kicked one or two peoples butts. Its not for that reason its for competitive playing not for bullying and pushing people around. My job has nothing to do with this topic..cause I do not work where groups of people harass and push me around or attack me for no reason. That would be stupid. but to force such treatment on someone when they are alone or with a small group….should make it fair.

I will just finish PvE with all my characters and stop playing less a Event strikes my fancy. I won’t be bullied by groups of people thinking its funny to attack people in groups.
