Guild Wars 2

Ok this is why I do not do the events they put into GW2….Most of them are either impossible to beat or impossible to find. I have seen where its located but how do you get to where you can vote. It does not show you nor do you see how to get there. I am just going to get rid of my tickets and never play those events again They never tell you how to do anything in this game when they make this crap up.

Without running with a huge kitten group though the upscaled areas end up being to hard to even bother with…lower armour lower weapons lower skill build it all weighs on a lower level and ends up just being a nightmare.

I personally do not bother with the content that is being spoken of so it does not sway me one way or another cause its all over powered level 80 events that will destroy us lower levels and drive us to leave anyway. It already forces a group to play even PvE most of the time. Which I have found a way to keep solo on most of it. I do not bother with WvW or PvP cause its all the same forced group playing and having to be level 80 so before anyone can actually be involved they have to be level 80 to even do it. So I would miss it all anyway with most of my characters.

Knights of Revengence are looking to recruit players on the black gate world. If yer looking to have some fun in game and want to help with creating a future Guild then hit me back up here. I will get ahold of you. I have only done PvE since I started but I am willing to bring the guild into WvW and PvP once I have someone that knows it better then I and can teach me. If you are that person we can talk. Maybe even have a officer position open for those that are vets of the came and can help me get things going.

I am sticking with this is a game and if yer that soft that a few made up racist remarks hurt yer feelings then maybe playing a game with a rating that specifically says Teens and up then maybe find a game that is for everyone. Racism is a everyday thing yes I hate it too but it can no more be changed in the real world as it will be changed in the game. I find it quite funny when I hear it. If a game with it in it stirs you then I suppose you never watch moves either with a little racism in it? And for a game to say some racism remarks is RP its in the game for someone to be all out cruel to a person outside the game its just rude I don’t report people I just block them and let them talk to themselves cause ummmm I can take a shot or two and not whine like a little girl lol.

I don’t do alot in Game cause I see all those abbreviations and kitten I guess they do not need help that bad that they do not want to tell us what they are talking about lol. I am missing out cause I asked once in game on the Map chat and got jumped on so I just stopped asking. Gotta love a helpful community.

Yeah then I will be back to ask another thousand times for something else where I will be downed and beat over the head cause I don’t know crap.

Again here is no freaking way to make a list of the thousands of abbreviations you guys use and then what you do is use smart alec ways to tell me that I should make a list. Come on even you know it would be impossible.

Thank you Healix one for the pages the other for not acting like a total jerk and showing me those. To the rest I could be here all day typing out every abbreviation I saw in game and on the board.

I think capping characters at such a low number is the worst thing they could do. We try and type what we want to say and they cut us off to have to type the rest in another post

Ok I have watched in game and on the boards people using all kinda abbreviations us new guys do not know what these things mean is there some kinda page or something so we can understand what is going on cause right now their just letters and what not. Nothing I can understand. Someone needs to make a post of all the abbreviations and let us know what the hell they mean. Or type out the words cause not all of us are wanting to stand here scratching our heads through the whole game.

Like I said since not a soul will believe what I saw with my own eyes then its over I will just play the game like I play all MMO’s get what I can and give people who help me everything else.

Happened in a few places. Around the Norn home lands where you fight the Champ Worm and such Also in the sylvari home land around the Nightmare court hide outs and a few other places.
Why does it matter where it happens it happens everywhere in the game. At least 50 places I have been to. There is no proving it cause I cannot screen cap it or video record it but its cool let it happen and everyone not see it matters little its not like it matters little every other MMO does it.

Alright as I said I am just letting it go it happens no one believes me anyway so I will just play the game. I know what I saw. I know that the body only shows to me that there is loot from what I am being told and if I am standing right by it and go to loot the body and someone walks by and it stops glowing within 3 seconds I know what that means. But it matters little I always just buy what I need if I cannot loot it. I have even taken other peoples loot on accident I know I did not touch that Mob and walked up and took it going off what I have been told but I never touched it…it was someone elses.

I am still not convinced that you cannot steal another persons loot I have been playing none stop for weeks off and on. I have seen it happen so many times its not funny. But I have learned to live with it cause the game is fun. I started myself a guild whether it takes from myself or others or not I think I will just get into the groove of things and just let whatever happens happen. My characters are doing pretty good at any rate so what do I have to lose other then better loot to guilds and loot campers. I can buy all that stuff over in stores and play by myself a good bit to make up for the loss EXP. Anyway just did not understand the unique thing guess something else I will just have to live with.

The Word Unique thats where it comes from…its not unique if I am not getting something that applies to me so I think they used the wrong word is all…should have used different wording then unique cause the items are not unique their just dropped randomly like all the other MMO’s.

Ok I understand that but how is that unique to US? That is just not competing that does not make it unique.Unique means if I am a level 10 I get level 10 equipment and if I am a guardian and its a chance I get equipment I get guardian equipment not Ele equipment. Thats what Unique translates to me.

I have been told that all loot drops from Mobs are unique to our character I am confused I have talked it over with friends who play the game and such and then thought about it myself….How is it unique of when we get loot what comes out of it is another professions equipment. Thats not unique to us. Thats someone elses loot. I am not saying I wished to get something for my profession handed to me. But if its a chance of getting equipment why not get other loot like trophies and other such things then it would be unique to Our characters. A set of gloves given to a Necromancer when they belong to a Guardian is not unique to a Necro. Just confused is all.

I am testing out the mechanics of the guilds and created my own. If anyone wants to join up let me know PM me or let me know in Game I would be happy to add you and learn about this guild stuff.

Started my own guild just to check the mechanics of it….if it does not work like I want it then its mine to do with what I wish.

My last question to this is if I join a guild and find out I was right and My character is effected do I have to delete my character just to leave the guild or is there a button I can hit or something I can do to just leave it to go solo again? And I read the loot page and yes it says its unique but that would mean that if someone picks it up its unique to them weather I killed the beast or not so if they get MINE then it just gives them what they would have gotten if they had gotten their own it really does not say we get our own loot. Just that if we pick up loot that it is unique for someone else…so if you kill something and I run by and snatch it up then its not going to give me what you would have gotten but what I would have gotten if I killed it.

o.O makes no sense. It has to come from somewhere. All MMO’s are the same and everything has a source thats not exactly a source. But ok if you say so. I will shut up and keep to myself. Solo seems to have gotten me to almost level 40 so Solo I will remain.

Not one site out there tells where this influence and bonuses are coming from if its us as members losing a portion of exp or what…I just looked and everything is to confusing to understand.

I have read everything on every website on GW2 and its confusing it makes me believe that the influence and bonuses they are talking about comes from our exp and such when we join that we can only be in a guild if we give over loot money and exp when we play. It has to come from somewhere the influence and bonuses thats all I am saying.
Everything has to have a source of where it comes from and how it is given.

It was less then three minutes it was more like 30 seconds. and when it glows on my end it looks like the body of what I killed either way I watched someone walk up and then it stopped glowing and then in three minutes the body disappeared so yeah I know what I saw but it matters little cause no one seems to want to listen.

I wished I could have taken a pic of the person that took my loot that time and the exp that was halfed but it would not do it. So I have no proof that it happens here too. I have watched a creature I killed glowing where I should be able to get something and someone walk up and take it and it stop glowing…like you say I should only see what is mine on my side so that means that guy took my loot. But since the capture picture does not cap that kinda thing I will never be able to prove that a MMO is a MMO no matter where we go.

Even if I started my own I would be still separating it amoung the people that joined mine too. Thats just how MMO’s work. Anyway I am not trolling just giving my opinion and saying what I have seen to be true. Anyway have a good day/night.

sighs If you say so….Not going to take a chance seems to many people are trying to take from noobs that have been used before. Thanks for the info. Do not think I will take the chance on it and level up doing alot on my own. Keeping up how I been doing…all MMO’s are the same parties and guilds take and make it hard for lower levels to level up. And the people like to tell them what everyone has told me just to make it hard for them. Anyway I am done have a good day/night.

blinks I have heard this before and was suckered into a guild and it took me months to level one time so I guess I will wait longer. I am afraid to join guilds cause of what has happened to me before. In more then one game telling me the samethings people in this game tell me I have watched it happen in this game and just want a number or an amount of what guild want or take. I see I will only get the same jargon when it comes to joining parties or guilds. Thanks for the try. Guess I will solo it most the game.

Not really going to get into it again but I have seen it happen in this game and others…Its a normal MMO thing. I have been told all this before but I have also been suckered in at least 5 different MMO’s that said these samethings. Its better I just be careful and not get used again. The help I do get I appreciate but I will not throw myself into a guild or party like I have before when I am told these same things and get suckered. Soon I will be high enough in level to not care to much I am already a level 36 and never partied or joined a guild but thinking about it after I find out how much a guild takes from our loot and exp if I feel I cannot get a straight answer I guess its game play like I have been doing til it matters little if I get exp or not meaning level 80 lol

Adding them as a party does the samething a guild does and that forces us to share our exp and loot with who we are partied or in a guild with so creating a group with people you do not know is kinda a bad thing with me. If I had a group of friends I would not mind sharing my stuff with them cause then I know I am helping people that are not just doing it to take from me like other MMO’s.

I already give up my loot to people that help me around the game that just do it out of the blue.

Ok I have gotten to a point in the game where I am a level 36 I have done this solo for the reason of leveling faster so I did not have to spread my loot and exp around a party or a guild but at this level guess it matters little how fast I level up I am almost half way through so need some info on a guild that is recruiting and with info I mean I need to know the percentage of exp and loot I would be giving up to said guild and which one would be interested in helping me learn more about the game. I am mainly a PvE player cause My character is weak and PvP would be just a waist of time for me and WvW would only see me on my back about 90% of the time but if I had the right group I might be able to get healed during those fights and learn something about those two things. You can PM me or leave a message here on the forum just need the info though so I know what I am getting into and what I would be facing losing half or more exp from my kills.

How can you be upscaled? even the equipment you have is lower level it would be like walking into a room with millions of poison darts flying at you and told to dodge them all.
I can hardly get past the places that downscale nerf me. lol

Wished I had gotten the game earlier so I could have played the Flame & Frost parts but since I am a lowly level 31 I would just get killed in seconds in the level 80 lands of Flame & Frost I hope they do something like it some time else.
Since it seems they go away after a certian time.

You have to start the character over to even rebuild it its a bit of a waste of time if they allowed us to respec our points and such at least being a main healer class and have no attacks might be useful if we are apart of a guild but for people like myself who do not do guilds and parties the ele will be useless since it will be changed to just a healer class from what I have been Reading on here or how he is saying it its just going to be a healer class. Just goes to show that the game is trying to force guilds and parties so people like myself who do not want to have to give up my loot and exp to people I do not know. If it nerfs it to just a healer class I will delete it and try something else.

I read someone saying that they are balancing the class Ummmmm I have watched other classes that are 400 times more powerful then the Ele class I fight a creature and get my kitten kicked a mesmer 10 levels under me walks up and wipes out the creature in two point three seconds so if they nerf some skills or change something with the ele it will only make them even more weaker. I am confused as to why they call that balanced. If they take away our ability to even attack anything when its already so hard for us to attack anything now.

As for me I love the ele but if they kill the ability to attack anything or make it worse then it is then I will delete that character no matter the level and create another and not play a Ele. Why give up the game when you can just not use a ele and make it a obsolete profession.

How can they be to powerful when they are getting their butts kicked when in a lower lvl area. I cannot stay alive for nothing in the world in many area’s even though I am a level 29 and I am in a level 8 area its more nerfed now if they change alot then ele’s will do nothing but die every two seconds and be worth nothing,

I have read all this over and over and what I get out of it is that being an Ele is going to be a waste of time cause they are taking away everything that makes it able to attack any thing. What will it be if it has no attacks and only heals? How would someone be able to play a solo game if they are unable to attack creatures and such I am lost. Why not do away with the profession all together if it will be worth nothing in the long run.

Elementalists are a bit nerfed to be honest. Specially when you go into a lower level area and our levels are jacked down at least 5-10 levels making us way weaker then everyone else. But thats just My opinion. In a sense they are forcing us to have to work with groups and guilds doing away with the idea of a solo player. Its one of those hits and misses when you play a place that makes an Elementalist nothing more then a Stage magician. lol

I play offline games too I only have a few problems with the game other then that its fun when I can actually play it and not get dropped in 2.3 seconds.

As I have told many on this forum in game and close friends that play this game I watched it happen with my own eyes. So take it as you want to but I watched it happen. But I am done since no one seems to like me talking on the forums anyway. Later all.

I will not say anther word I will just go back to struggling in the near impossible and letting people take my exp and loot since everyone does not want to hear what I have seen and done in the game and find out how to play solo without being nerfed so bad. Later all.
