The point is I didn’t lie to anyone. I may have geared wrong and played wrong, but I did my best and survived until the very last minute of the fight. The group was advertised as in need of condi ranger. It didn’t say anything about being experienced.
Anyways, I will just delete this post in an hour or so. Thanks for answering.
To everyone here:
“He said I should be grateful that he didn’t kick me out during the mid run and I got carried.”This make me think that the commander gave him the time to loot the chest.
Then if he got the time and instead to loot the chest he did other things it is his problem.IF the commander kicked him Just an istant After the boss was dead then agree thats not right and fair.
But to be honest is hard to me to belive to him since is clear he already lied to his sqaud to join it.
And I don’t get why complain here in forum but instead submit a ticket to arenanet if he sure to be kicked unfairly
Yeah it’s the Gors that we killed. I thought he was the 3rd boss. Excuse my little knowledge about the raid. We killed him at the first attempt. I did not lie. I did not intend to trick anyone. The group was advertised “Looking for a condi ranger”. It seemed like they didn’t care about being experienced. To be it, we got the boss and got the kill. I was left speechless when I got kicked right away soon after.
OP, some bosses (e.g. Gorse) have agro mechanics based on toughness. If you have more toughness than specified tank, you might actually screw up entire group. Celestial gear is not part of any raid spec. So the raid leader saying that you weren’t geared for raids nor had experience was right. I am surprised as well that he didn’t talk to you about it or kicked you after first attempt on Gorse.
And if we look at it from comms perspective, if anything you griefed them by lying to them about your gear/experience.If you want to minimize bad experience in raid, come prepared (have the right gear, build, preferably have headset/ts and know the fights).
I killed the Gors. That was the name. I only joined the party because it was adverttised as “need condi Ranger”. That’s all.
Hmmm there is something weird in your Story.
3rd boss on Spirit vale (sabetha) doesn’t have an aggro mechanics based in toughness so I don’t get why he kicked you at sabetha and not at gorseval.
So maybe you did the prevent for gorseval + gorseval.Btw you joined an exp Group while having like 0 exp yourself. You had the wrong ecquipment, probably the wrong build and only god know how much mistake you made in that raid.
So you were a leecher that got carried hard… You should be glad you got the kill.
The commander also has explained you the reason because you got kicked so he did right.A suggestion: if you want to raid, take the right build, the right ecquipment and join training runs for get experience.
Then you can join more exp Group and get your kills.
This is what mostly of player that pug raid do.Have a nice day bb
OP’s story does seem fishy, what were the names of those bosses, OP?
Maybe it was noticed on Gorseval, without interrupting the fight too much (because when doing no updraft, aggro problems have less effect).Either way, joining an experienced group while being inexperienced yourself is rude.
Joining a group that asked for a DPS class, without being actual DPS, is adding dead weight, and even ruder.
Kicking you before looting is not completely justified, but you had it coming.
BTW, if you missed the chest, you were probably completely dead at the end, so I assume you were carried because of your lack of experience. If you really want to experience “teamwork”, don’t join a random PuG.
FYI, lying to your group is the opposite of teamwork, which might be the reason you didn’t witness it ^^.I’m starting to see a pattern, it’s your second rant post already. You didn’t even reply to all the good answers you got in your previous one.
Are you the new nagr or Oldirtbeard?
I think I only killed the 2nd boss then. When I joined, the 1st boss was already down. Then we had to deal with a mini boss (I guess) and run through the spirits. The boss I killed was the one where we had to use updraft in and out.

I got denied for not having full Ascended gears. I currently have full exotics. Does that really make that big difference? Also, why is it so hard to find anyone even willing to try out the raid? I can’t even begin to find a group to try this out. I don’t blame the players, but there must be some flaws in current raiding environments. So many players are naturally excluded. I was also told that I MUST have multiple classes (fully geared) and be experienced in order to join the group. So, I get it.
I hope Anet can find a way to make this content available to relatively new and weakly geared players as well. I just need somewhere to start. I will then slowly gain experience and know-hows. I don’t care about failing it to complete the dungeon.
Seriously ? You want to force everyone to play EOTM during the week and WvW only for weekends ?
24 hours is a long time. Not even close to that of EoTM.
if you are randomly placed on diff worlds how do you play with friends/guilds?
Play with them during the Ranked weekends.
Unranked (Monday-Thursday)
Players are randomly placed in different worlds regardless of their servers and tiers. The population will be adjusted automatically. It will minimize the populatoin imbalance that seems to be the biggest issue in WvW. The borderlands reset every 24 hours.
Ranked (Friday Prime Time to Sunday)
Every tier has different reset timers on Friday. This will allow players and guilds to choose the servers that suit them the best.
It will make the wvw much more enjoyable.
Can’t even mention them all. We probably use less than 50% of the current runes/sigils out there. TP prices prove my point. It feels like playing Dota 2 a broken patch where only 50 heroes are constantly being favored and picked and used out of 100 and more available.
Why not buff them? All these runes and sigils have so much potential that could add plenty of diversity into the game that will affect both pvp and pve beautifully.
Thanks

Some say the raids in GW2 is hard. Some say it’s not. So, why not make Easy-Medium-Difficult tiers for the raids?
The hardcores can be more hardcores. Casual players may be able to join the raids just like they do their daily fractals. Of course, it will be naturally more demanding since they need to gather 10 players.
Will there be another HoT 50% discount week?

A week before gw2: heart of flames gets announced, including heart of thorns for free.
HoF is the new expansion? When?

I recently came back to GW2. I am not sure if I can spend $50 on HoT at this point. It is a lot of money to me. I would have bought it if it were brand new. I am definitely willing to spend $25 for it.
Will there be another sale week? I’d appreciate if you can let us know about it.
Thanks.

I missed the last one. I recently came back to GW2. I am not sure if I can spend $50 on HoT at this moment. It is a lot of money to me. But I am definitely willing to spend $25 for it.
Thanks!
Instead of Dolyak carrying supplies to the castle/keep, let the players do this job. Upon deaths, players lose 50% of their supplies and drop them on the ground. Enemy players can pick them up. You will lose all of your supplies once you leave the map.
This will make zerg team wipe more rewarding and crucial. Roamers can achieve a lot more, creating difference in the map by sapping their enemy’s supplies. Defending and raiding supplies will become significant factors. Small and big team fights will happen a lot more often.
I’m proposing this idea, because the supply camps don’t matter in WvW. You can simply resupply from EoTM or other maps and come back. That’s just silly. By applying these changes, there will be more things to give crap about in WvW. Every death matters. If you fail to maintain the supply camps, you have options to flip the supply camp, and play defensively, or raid your enemies because you’re a killer. Everyone should be able to contribute to the map in the way they prefer to do so.
Do you guys think this will make WvW more interesting for both pugs and those pvp junkies in zerg squads?
Thanks for reading!

) Thanks for informing me. I guess I’ll be more prepared If I ever join the raid group again.
