Can you please allow credit for people d/ced during lag heavy battles in wvw? It’s getting beyond a joke now with the horrendous network issues to actually get some stuff done?
I’d like to get my key and go back to not stressing over these kitten issues knowing I don’t have to prove to the system through these stupid achievements I actually took part this season.

Zerging is just for people that want to faceroll through content by auto attacking. You ways have a choice.
Not when they start facerolling in your content taking it before you can experience it.
Here’s an idea
Disable commander tags in pve
Right now events, in particular the offshoots, are in a sea of players and getting credit for event completion is absolutely near impossible due to the event not spawning enough durable enemies for players to have a chance of tagging them to get credit for event completion.
It’s the same problem Scarlett had when she first arrived, please adjust this.
How about a windows system alert so the GW2 window flashes when que pops, so I can do something else while waiting?

Just want to chime in and say a nice thanks to some of the Piken I ran into at the BL JP the other day, Instead of attacking (I in turn did not attack them) they used /salute and let me get in with it. Returning the gesture, we all got what we wanted.

Also, d/ced again, lord this is horrible…
SFR camps (and some times the towers, or even keeps!) don’t have guards. Even worse, there are times we see people around but don’t really care because it’s pretty obvious they are pve players running around. Yesterday I took the southwest camp (belonging to SFR) in a borderland while three SFR were flipping the sentry in front… This morning I built a golem in the northeast camp (of SFR bl) I had just taken while an SFR was killing the dolyaks right in front of me (and then he just LEFT).
These are the people making the queues longer…….
I’m just hoping the VZ’s taking top gets some of the bandwagoners off our server now so we can actually PLAY the friggen game not have it reduced to a vertical slice of my screen behind my IRC window while I play something else waiting for queue to pop.
well they actually would waste gold then
they are bound to SFR or any server for the season, so why should they leave? so that sfr (in their view) loses ppl -> coverage usw. -> even worse placement in the league -> even worse reward^^i dont think there will be tooo much movement for the next weeks regarding wvw population (apart from guilds who dont care about the rewards)

I’m not really upset at all. I guess I just don’t take computer games that seriously. I had a six hour queue on reset night last week, I was disappointed sure, but I wasn’t angry or upset.
Well some of us like to make use of those hours.
Queues shouldn’t even work like a proper queue given the nature of what has spurred this crap of transferring.
Queues should give priority to those who have NOT transferred and instead let people who have been loyal to their server in first.
The Meta Achievement: WAAAAAAAAAAY too high in requirements. 10 would be reasonable but 15 is just out there.
This factors in the reliability of WvW into the mix. For example, how on earth are you supposed to get Castle in the Air given the effort needed to get in AND the fact that EBG has queues into the heavens?
Seems they’re having queue and lag problems?

Srsly though: Yeah 3 hour plus queues for wub when you can lose it within 10 seconds of connecting is not on.
Maybe time for T1/T2 to transfer to lower wvw pop servers?
I think more players is good for WvW balance as a whole. Even if they’re from PvE.
I’ve been on SFR since day 1 and there is no way I’m transferring off.
Alot of us are happy with our day 1 world, don’t punish us by allowing these jerks to stack on again.
You want that key don’t you? You don’t get the just by TRYING to WvW, you need to actually get in.
That is if your client lets you run there before the zerg caps it.

Man, I sure cannot wait to keep trying to kill 225 Dolyaks..seriously, whoever stacked the achievements that high just to say “I’m not a server hopper” is just silly.
Are achievements available in infantile mode?

Besides the obvious tribulation mode, are the normal achievements available in infantile mode, particularly Tiptoe, which is infuriating considering to get another shot you need to do the whole level again.
Is it SUPPOSED to be unlockable in infantile mode?
Why can’t this be around as a longer term thing? Given the immense difficulty that this chapter offers there’s more incentive and replay value in it, ESPECIALLY Tribulation Mode.
If not a constant presence, how about a fortnightly for a week thing or perhaps gold paid access.
Want to kill Scarlet? The Farmers are going to screw you over and they don’t give a monkeys.
I was lucky enough to get her once, sorry to those who didn’t and most likely won’t.
I got the achievement earlier, but it only occurred on the home map…still needs a looking at.
Actually just noticed, no buff was given.
I DID have my first event be the portal one and made sure I stuck to it, not one aetherblade or molten event was done, and I did check the event descriptions.
No Anet response yet..please do.
I recently just closed 6 portal events before the timer hits 30 minutes, had my daily pop, no swift closer pop.
Anyone else had this problem?
I can’t imagine how you could get to her short of remembering her spawn location and camping there.
Lol, in srsness, it’s more than likely just her model pre-loaded for the cutscene and badly hidden :P

This is the best solution because it doesn’t also endanger your chances of failing the event.
I mean, honestly: why isn’t it this way already? The “event failed” loot is awarded to everyone on the map. They know you’re there. Why limit anything to the silly tagging system?
Exactly, the achievement should be to represent the fact you took part in a complete successful map event, not took part in an event and had enough luck/spec to get to a horribly scaled end boss and tag her before she’s ripped to shreds
As it stands she melts FAR too quickly for most players to get to, unless she either spawns next to you or you have an SSD or something to defeat the insane loading times as the zerg goes after her, you’ve next to no chance of getting the achievement.
This achievement needs either….

What’s the funniest part about this? In order to keep trying to have to contribute to one of the biggest problems in that area, the endless zerging going on below you which just adds to the FPS drops to those trying.

I just got her AoE marker made invisible thanks to this…..
The issues I’ve had are…
1. The Camera is absolutely rotten, not acceptable when you need to be aware of what’s going on or face a vision spawning on you.
2. The latticed floor, it makes visibility very poor.
3. The fact it’s position right above an area where a combine harvester zerg is running around going full pelt with abilities. Lagging out to high heaven at times.
Honestly, I’m playing on a bad cyber cafe computer and I’m doing just fine..it sounds like you really need a upgrade for a computer & perhaps a better ISP
The issue can differ depending on the overflow and if the area directly below you has players in it.
I’m more particular toward Anise.
It can be frustrating being in the gauntlet trying to work out when your time limit is coming up when you can hear so many announcers around you.
Anyone get this issue?
Alot of enjoyable battles going on even if the queues are heinously large now.
Alot more fun than “that” server.

Wow, shut down faster than Madagascar.
We are yet since ruin failed for push us out of t1. Every jump server gave us raison to be hate , now you have some good reasons GvG is not WvW.
Just gonna say that servers don’t try to push you out of t1 because it’s alot safer on their computers and just in general easier to not get to t1 in the first place!
I literily had to go out and get a CM 212 Hyper Evo just to play wvw again without risking my cpu going over the top!

Well, tbh we crushed. Both JS and VS are, when they don’t run away or when the fight doesn’t take place under half a dozen of arrowcarts, much easier kills than Elona, BB, Piken or other real servers. The general opinion in our server is that it’s more profitable to farm VS than to farm in Orr. Those kitten 1v1 build make us feel like we’re fighting paper.

It really is absolutely terribly high for a full complete. It’s made worse by some of the time wasters in the game that do things like camp in the water with loads of rations..
