Soloers with high MMR will usually be used to offset a team of complete pillocks and with bad company, well, you know why Spartans in a Phlanax Formation cannot have even one bad arm in their wall.
It’s a PvP legendary, one that can only be gained through PvP.

In the UK here, having lag spikes every 2 minutes or so lasting 5-8 seconds, anyone else having this?

This is one of my major worries when I saw the setup of the new maps in regards to mapwide meta events…
People will move on past them once they have their stuff. Anet need to dump some kind of reward that will KEEP people coming back..
Repeated Network Errors trying to finish this PS mission…I’m on the 64-bit client too.
Upon arrival at Shadow Behemoth, the meta event or the active event for that area didn’t show up, unable to tell progress to spawn him.
Same with the Golem Mk 3 world boss, didn’t show on the client.
You realize that enabling all classes to fulfill every role is one of the main concepts of this game? Classes may approach certain roles in a different way, but you should be able to play the way you want on any class when you spec for it.
This is true, it’s why there are no dedicated healer classes and everyone has their own survival/healing skill. All classes can bring a degree of power, support and control to the team. The classes are just different ways of doing it.

I got the items for warhorn/torch/hammer in my bank, yet I cannot unlock them for wardrobe or collection use.

Rangers have had a big stigma in GW1 thanks to thumpers and the infamous Touch Rangers…don’t know why here.
Heavy Clutter from Minionmancers or Mesmers is an absolute chore to wade through with a mouse especially when ALL OF THEM ARE MOVING, and in the heat of a fight it is only further to their advantage that you need to cycle with your keys to find them again.

I’ve had people do this in the last two games, when I shouted in the chat to indicate to the player was making the mistake, I was met with “kittening rager” and threatened with a report.
Didn’t go down too well after chat. I’m happy enough if people accept their mistakes and move on…
I try hard not to let myself resort to nameflinging and don’t generally do it, at most I just retort with their mistakes again, some people just let their egos run wild and…..meh.

Unfortunately the only way to get that many stacks is to run to an event, tag a few mobs, then just leave.
Truely the biggest mistake of this event was ALLOWING that.
That is outright lying though. I got 26 stacks while still completing all the events that I found.
Running together with the whole map as a massive blob however, is not a good idea, since the events scales and thus takes longer.
I WP’d around to all close events I could completing them and have only come out with 16 stacks at most.
Dunno what you are doing.
Since all these personal stacks are doing is encouraging very selfish play by hopping between events and only tagging a few mobs could you lower the number of stacks required to be eligible for the max rewards?
Such as:
• 0-3 stacks = 0 blooms
• 4-5 stacks = 5 blooms
• 6-7 stacks = 10 blooms
• 8-9 stacks = 15 blooms
• 10+ stacks = 20 bloomsWould discourage people hopping between events as much. A better solution would be to make the stacks a map-wide counter and personal stacks would only make you eligible for the reward.
As it is this is teaching the new players a very horrible way to play the game and isn’t promoting group and team play at all.
Even that wouldn’t help, people are happily announcing they are AFKing once they hit 20 stacks 15 minutes into the event.

Truely the biggest mistake of this event was ALLOWING that.
I said it before, burning needs to give diminished returns on higher burnstacks.
There may be some tweaking required to ensure the first burn in the stack is not holding back the others, but it could be a step in the right direction.
1) Kill an enemy when they have interacted with a point that is controlled by you, or just “tag” an enemy when they are killed. The point must be fully under your control, if it goes neutral before the enemy dies, no dice.
2) Watch for team fights around points and use skills to keep enemies out till it comes under your control (sometimes the enemy will get too distracted with your team). When it switches to you, kill an enemy as fast as you can.
Burning is indeed fairly bad right now, eles especially being able to do crazy burn stacks with little effort.
Lower the base damage or make higher burnstacks have diminishing returns.
They even strangely can get into ranked pvp…
Maybe not one that you hear often, but one sound in GW2 has left me with more seething rage than any other….

I think there is a command switch that allows this. Don’t know if it still works.
The fact the only queue for pvp can you put as a solo with other solos against a full arranged guild team.
The utter WORST decision made by anet was implementing that tbh.

Loads of my matches are turning into solos against a team of full arranged guild teams. I still don’t see why they cannot just make 2 queues for this and actually return some form of legitimacy into what is effectively a queue of Russian roulette.
Also, BETA CLASSES IN RANKED MODE? See that legitimacy comment? Why on earth do Anet want to go the esport route when they cannot get that down.
People generally are nice around the community but this game, like all other mmos, has it’s “ultra militarisitic speed run” lot that will scream at you for not doing “Muh meta” or whatever they want.
Generally you’ll find people eventually that are quite nice and forgiving of mistakes, some even take time to teach you builds to help effectiveness and future party experiences.
One group taught me the Phalanx Strength build for warrior being very patient and I warmly thanked them after. You DO get them, just accept there are some morons out there too.
There seems to be a big problem in this boss in that people insist in trying to melee teq down and keep dying as they cannot keep themselves alive doing it.
Only when I land in these maps with this mindset has it failed so far, ranged maps succeed.
You do reliase that anet will be making adjustments as they gather data from player usage?
They don’t have the means of an extreme test that all the players of the game can put out together, maybe a small testing team but it takes letting some things go live and adjusting to get a proper picture.
Reminder people that points don’t cap any faster with multiple people on it, especially without enemies nearby?

An open world boss event shouldn’t need tons of jumping, taxing and basically manipulating the megaserver system just to have a CHANCE, we already have that with Triple Trouble and quite a large number of people skip that boss because of the large ammount of organisation effort required INCLUDING said manipulation of the system, for not enough chance of good loot.
What is the problem with having 1 or 2 bosses made specifically for the Hard cord crowd?Are the casuals so selfish?90% of the game is made exactly for them.
What do the words “open world boss” mean to you?
There was a heavy implication that this kind of stuff could be altered to suit organised groups without the screwing around needed to get everyone in one map.
