Well i tried many names, characters from books i read with cool names (i read many books, so there were a lot), i tried putting 1-2 extra letters in the name, then i tried some made up names too etc…

Yes i ment those But i didnt know about these letter äáé neither, since it says “The name is using only English letters”…
And i tried like 100names already all were taken, its not about my main name and things

So i made my 2. character today, and i spent like 20-30minuites for both characters just to find a good name which is not taken… Now the main problem is that we can only use letters, ok i understand that numbers cant be used, symbols too, but at least allow players to use >>’<< this, its used in many fantasy books, and it would make many more options, so there wont be so many taken names….

When i have some crappy items for 1-2 silver, i used to sell them on the black lion market, should i just sell them instantly, or put them on licit?> Which is almost the double of the price, but idk how fast will they buy these low lv items, is it worth to wait, or just insta sell them for the 100%money?

Yeah but as far as i saw it, my autoattack with a longbow does much more dmg than the skills with a sword or dagger :/

My question will be about weapon switching in general, the ranger will be just an example, since its my only chara so far.
So could anyone tell me why is it worth to swap weapons during combat? Atm i use either a long or a shorbow as a primary weapon (im lv15, so i use the one which is stronger- if i dropp one etc.), and a sword/dagger or healing horn in the secondary set. However usually when i use all my skills with longbow, and a few autoattacks, the cooldowns are already gone and i can use my skills again, + its pretty comfortable fighting from far, while my pet is tanking. (I guess its the same for other classes, like a warrior with a greatsword, it deals more dmg even with normal autoattacks than a dagger/sword?)
So why is it good to switch during fight, and could someone help me with switching weapon sets effectively? When should i switch how, etc. Generally for every class, since im new to the game, and this is the first mmo with this system:D

Just another question for crafting, if i get the maxumim profession level, for lets say weaponsmith, and i want to change a discipline, will the weaponsmist’s level stay, or go back to 1?

For question 1, i didnt really mean things like dungeons, completing maps etc, more like crafting, because i saw things like tailor, chef armorsmith etc. +gathering things, i was wodnering if there was more.
And can i get transmutation charges from dail quests/log in rewards aswell? Or only completing maps? Because 6/gear is a lot imo :/

I would have some newbie questions,
1, How many activities are there aside of fighting? (crafting, gathering materials etc.) And how to improve them each?
2,If i buy storage for banks, is it for every character?
3,If i buy a skin and apply it to an equipment, is there any way to take it off, and use it on an other one?
4,Are items like the additional crafting license, and other items in the item store for accounts, or characters? Because 2×800gem to get the 2 license for each character is kinda too much…
5,On lv 80 how hard is it to get gold? Like is 200-300gold a lot? Because there are many things i would like for gems, and idk if it will be really hard to get gems, or 300gold can be farmed in a few days, and then i can get gems with ingame farming?

I would like to ask if the choice of gods, and factions etc. affects the gameplay at all? Will i get every racial skill with a race anyways, and the god i chose is only for “fun” and somewhat affects the story?
(+ im lv6, and i would like to buy living season2, do i have time to buy it till i get lv80, or it wont be available anymore when hot is out?)

Im really new to guild wars, today was the first day i played, and i read the wiki a lot to know the game a bit better. I just didnt get one thing about the seasons. I know that season 1 cant be unlocked anymore, but i see that season2 can be unlocked by gems (1400total). I just dont know what are they good for? Do i get a text, or i unlock some missions, and how many what are the rewards etc? So i have no clue how does stories work in the living season, i just want to know if its worth my gems, i dont want to spend them carelessly. Any info is welcome. (I dont really have anything to buy with gems atm, maybe chara slots and skins later, but i can exchange gold till then, once i get lv80 getting 300golds for 2k gems cant be that hard:D)

Yeah, but the hot deluxe is without the 4k gems, and less rewards, while the normal deluxe had so many special items :/

And if i purchse the digital deluxe with 2.000 gems, then do i still get the rewards on the wiki?

Ohh… and why are the extra items for Hot less than the ones for the original gw2…?

So i purchased the ultimate edition recently, and i cant find some of the items.
According to the official
<a href=“https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2”>wiki</a> Im supposed to get all those items under deluxe, since ultimate is the same, just wth extra gems (since it wasnt written anywhere its not). I only got the miniature rytlock, guide banner, revenant finisher, extra character slot, and some heart of thorns skin, which dissapeared (where??)
I didnt get the 10exp boosters, tome of influence, golem banker, chalice of glory, suit of legacy armor, mithril box, and a mistfire wolf… Where can i get these items?
