Lvl 43 in dredge, never again. Overal during Wednesday afternoon we rolled into dredge five, consecutive times

I thought you were refering to world first when you said “one person got before us”, and by that the person in our party who posted the thread on reddit.
I’m not and [KING] is not NA but EU, and the two world first to our knowledge was Zip and Asko

We didn’t change armor any time. We happened to change build once in a while.
Ouch for lvl 44 (take dmg when crit) with fresh air, or vigor on crit = perma weakness (lvl 48).
But overall you can happily stay in your berserker armor

Some bullkitten line to bump it
I am Particlar and from Desolation.
Together with a few other commanders (no guild organization) we have been able to organize Desolations now 60 kills. (Of course this is not a few men’s achievement, but I’d like to think we’ve helped)
I have personally been with and commanding/organizing more than 40 of those, so I think it’s safe to say my successful runs were not just luck.
In my opinion the tea kettle fight is alright how it is. For once there is some content that is not mindlessly zergable. These last two weeks have been the most fun I’ve had in game and I’ve met more people than ever before.
I never wait more than 30min to get into a main. My advice for you who have not yet done teq is following;
- Find an active server doing teq (blackgate, desolation or jq as example)
- Get into their organized team speak and thereby get a taxi
- Get in main (try right after a kill if it’s really difficult)
- Listen and do your job

Just curious how do you deal with Thieves?
Imo thiefs are a lot easier to deal with than engis.
I ususally go with D/D, knock them down and try not to miss your fire spike.
The only real problem is when the thief gets away with stealth and re-encounters before our knockdown skills have recharged
So I’ve been reading this sub-forum for some months, waiting for something productive to come up.
However it seems complaints are the only threads that ever appears.
(This rant is going to only cover the PvE aspect of the game. I do not mean to boast up and tell that everyone are playing the class wrong; I’m simply disagreeing with what the crowd in the forum seems to think)
Now I don’t say I agree with every change ANet has done to the ele, and I would like to see changes from what state it’s currently in.
But I have yet to see any place in PvE that my ele can’t handle. I’ve even soloed multiple dungeons, beaten liadri and done the 5-gamkittenallange with an ele . If now the elementalist were that bad on damage and died so easily, the class would get kicked out of a dungeon-group more than the former ranger. Which is simply not the case, excluding CoF p1 speedfarm (when that existed) I’ve never gotten kicked out of a group for being an elementalist.
I fear to say it, but I think the reason many people say they lack either damage or survivability is because they are doing something wrong. If a group is aiming for the fastest run possible, a zerk ele is one of the classes with highest potential damage.
If it’s a casual group, I have not found a problem with either surviving or keeping my dps amongst the rest of the group.
Now I do to some extent agree that the reward per risk coefficient is too little on the elementalist comparing it to a warrior.
But not that small to validate what people say; “there is no reason to play this class anymore”.

I’ve ran this dungeon many times and got all the achievements from it and have even soloed it. However do I want that little monocle and am too cheap to buy it off TP.
So, I’ll be running this dungeon quite frequently until I get the monocle or the dungeon closes, and I would be happy to invite any of you who needs help to get it done. Be it achievement run or just to complete it.
This will be on EU.
I’ve done this dungeon numerous of times but am still going for that monocle.
As I’ve helped one before I can help you aswell.
Me and 2 other friends will have a go at this in an hour.
It will be one of the friends first go, but I have extensive experience in this dungoen. I got all the achievements in it and have soloed it.

At this moment I feel like the elementalist’s trait and damage bonus are alright but I wouldn’t mind a slight D/D buff in mobility/damage.
Through some tricks you could actually pump out dps close to a warriors. I really hope they don’t nerf FGS.

Do fresh air really reset the Air attunement’s global cooldown?
Meaning can I get a perma static aura, with swiftness and vigor (Zephyr’s boon)? That sounds really fun!
