I enjoy every Piken post about ‘Piken dominating Abaddon always during primetime’. You guys didn’t dominate us always.. you dominated hald the time and the other half abaddon was leading during primetime too. Else we hand’t won with 100k points.
If next week is going to be Abaddon – Piken – Gunnar it’s going to be really interesting!

I’m sorry, but there was hardly a time during 18:00 – 1:00 GMT that you had more points than we did. From 14:00-17:00, and 1:00-3:00 it was pretty even between AM and Piken, but you guys having the 695 point advantage from early morning, till 13:00GMT meant that you won that match up comfortably. And i agree with what the others have said, your lack of population during primetime was startling, it almost felt like we were fighting a server that had a majority of non EU players.
I hope your guilds turn out during primetime more than they did last week, if so, it’ll be a really interesting match up, and I look forward to it! I’m curious as to how our primetime force will hold up in the next tier, I know we’re VERY strong during primetime, but whether or not its good enough for the tier we’re going into, we’ll have to see.
However, trying not to get off topic – AM don’t use bots in their zergs, and its ridiculous to even make this claim. The bots are out farming the waters in borderlands, not running with zergs. What you saw were players that were new to WvW, and didn’t realise that the legendary defenders mean insta death

The crying in this thread is pretty funny. Just learn to counter it.
While at other times I’ve agreed with people saying, ‘counter it’, I have to disagree here. This is an exploit, plain and simple. Anyone that comes out with the kitten excuse, ‘why would they put the AoE cap on if not for this reason?’. NO. They put the AoE cap there to make sure AoE classes weren’t completely overpowered, but unfortunately this has led to this situation, where AoE, and in general every other form of damage(except siege) is underpowered.
I opened 2000+ ToT bags, and no endless tonic. I’ve done the MK dungeon 6 times, and gotten The Crossing and Arachnophobia. Luck is luck. +the end chest is NOT affected by DR, only the popup reward with ToT bags.
I’ve opened 2000+ of the personal ToT bags, and gotten nothing. To be fair, i’ve got over 500 of each halloween crafting mat, but no endless tonic. Must be a very low drop rate.
Why would the price stay this low once the steady influx into the economy stops? The price will go up. How much so remains to be seen.
I know that they were working on having dungeons give better loot, and I’ve recently been getting a lot more rares than I used to. After looking around while writing this post, I found some quotes from Robert Hrouda
It’s not an exploit to skip Kholer. He’s a bonus boss that unlocks a central waypoint, drops loot, and also gives a chest.
People skip him because:
A) He’s hard if you don’t know what you are doing, and don’t communicate enough.
2) Our changes to our token rewards moved the tokens out of his unlocked chest, so people don’t feel they have to fight him to maximize gains
III) Our dropped loot is abysmal, so you’re not finding anything of value.Solutions:
A) He’s supposed to be hard, it’s explorable mode. We should aspire all our bosses across all difficulties to be of similar difficulty.
2 and III) We are currently re-working and changing our loot for dungeons. I had previously hoped that it would be in for the next patch, but it requires a lot of tuning and testing, so it might take another patch.

I’ve been very vocal about the changes to dungeon loot here in the dungeon thread and my hopes it would be in by this next patch. While I still hold out hope, I don’t think it will make it in since it needs more tuning.

Same thing that Rob said about dungeon loot is also true in open world. I recently started looking at this and its literally such a bad chance of getting good loot from those big world bosses. Champions as well, the numbers are just too low. The Halloween patch is just too close to put this in and test it, but we are also working on improving this.

Whether or not they’ve gone ahead and added the new update, well, I don’t know. But like I said, I’ve been getting better drops than usual.
If i got kicked because my level was ‘too low’, I’d question the abilities of the players in the group I was kicked from, not my own abilities. Sure, having 80’s makes it faster and easier, but If you specifically look for this, I’m just inclined to think you NEED 80’s to even complete a dungeon.
