Although I highly doubt it, they COULD make your first entrance into the game before it plops you into the rest of the game something unique to Revenant. Say, you load up and your dropped into a small instance that appears to be the mists and when you finish your task it drops you into the starter zone of your race.
It would be a neat addition, but there would be the problem of NPCs referring to you as the hero of Shaemor and what not, so although it would be an easy way to have it make sense I wouldn’t expect it.
Specialization Weapon Idea: All 9 Professions

I THINK i understand your thought, but it would be easier if you had posted the “order”
So (based on your work):
Ranger – Ele – Warri – Thief – Engi – Guard – Mesmer – Rev – Necro – Ranger (it’s a circle)
To follow your idea: Every Profession gets the weapon the profession before and the profession after can use both.
And as you mentioned: the engi does no fit in here. (Engi would have to be placed between Warri and Guard, because of the hammer – but would end in a dead end)
Also i hope that the Rev. won’t get the great sword
There are too many professions using itBut I think your spec. isn’t that bad (I mean the weapons you guessed
)
Actually, Engineer would easily go between Guardian and Mesmer. Guardian giving him hammer and he giving Mesmer shield. Which in this case means it would probably be more appropriate of Guardian receiving short bow from Thief (or could rertain initial posters idea of pistol).

Just a tad late there, that’s what everyone figured since the trailer. lol
Thief isn’t confirmed, that could have been an Engineer.
When I opened 10,000+ bags I got 69 exotics. Man, they really did nerf the bags.
The player didn’t fully understand the meaning of that vision, that was an important plot point. Despite our own musings about what it means and how it could be effecting the overall balance of the GW2 universe — the people in Tyria are still oblivious at the fact that killing the dragons could be causing more damage then letting them live. Coupled with the fact that everyone in the know is currently in the center of a large battle and their minds preoccupied, they’re likely not thinking about it and considering that killing Zhaitan showed no signs of immediate adverse effects, they have no reason to think otherwise.

Why are people talking about delays when there have never been a set release time?
And even if it is largely the same event as last year quite a bit have actually changed in the game and there might very well be things from Halloween 2013 that is simply not working with other changes made to the game since then.
Entitlement, clearly.
Except that game doesn’t exist. All things eventually grow tiring. If it did, they would already be playing that game instead of complaining on the forums for more content that they’ll get bored of too and return to complain more.
A business can only create so fast. The players that understands this will stay like they have for the past two years. The ones that don’t will leave and will move on to another game that they’ll leave too when it doesn’t appeal to their instant gratification.
Players: “Anet, give me something to do.”
Anet: “Alright, here.”
Player: [plays content]
…………
Player: “Anet, I’m done. Give me something to do.”
This, it’s always going to be this. No matter how much they add you’re always going to finish it and be asking for more. So you have two choices. You either leave because you realize that no matter what game (Guild Wars is not excluded) you’re always going to get to a point where you’ve finished what you want to do. Or, you can do as Telemi said and find something to do to kill the time while they make more.
This is unavoidable regardless of what game you play. Everyone should be aware of this by now if they’re played games for more than a week…
That’s good martyr complex.
Then my character’s backstory should have been conveyed better. I’ve played him myself for nearly 3,000 hours over the past two years, so if he had ever come across this kind of information, I should be aware of it.
Except you don’t play your character from birth to now. You jump into a life that has already been lived for many years, has passed through any book or combat teachings, and upon starting is already more than capable of taking on dangerous enemies.
it seems most people are annoyed
Most? Try a small few. The forums make up an extremely small portion of the player base.

“Mordremoth is the Elder Jungle Dragon and the most recent dragon to awaken. Mordremoth’s existence did not become apparent to most Tyrians until early 1327 AE, when it awoke. It was, however, mentioned in ancient dwarven texts and jotun stalea, although no details other than the existence of a sixth Elder Dragon were ever made clear. Additionally, the Inquest had been conducting experiments structured around the presumption of six Elder Dragons for a while, indicating they had some prior knowledge of it.”
From the wiki. Mordremoth was known with a legend status. Never seen, just whispers of name and that it was possible that he existed. Edit: Also, considering they have information on the rest, the last dragon only seems to be fitting to own the one name that hasn’t been used yet.

I got three yellows. I thought that was standard. Yeah, you got the cold shoulder.
Suppose Chapter 1 of Season 2 had been one mail to set up the scenario, one instanced fight that takes 5 minute to get to and complete, and one achievement requiring the harvesting of 4000 cactus nodes. You’re saying the content isn’t complete until the achievement is earned. And with four cactus nodes respawning hourly, by your logic that’s 4000 hours worth of content. Yeah, that’s some rock-solid logic you got there.
That’s some good hyperbole.
