Hello!

I am looking for a class which makes a lot of bleeding (other conditions ) very fast and effective. Can you help me? ThxPrimary bleeding!

I cant log in, does anybody else have this problem?

Not sure why you even posted this, it’s not something unique to the mesmer class…. people whine about every class nothing new here. Seems like you want attention to make yourself feel better.

Why should I feel better?

The reason why I have posted here is that I’ve often noticed in pvp, that player offend others, say that they would play unfair and that you should delete your Acc. I found simply that it was about time to address this topic!

Because they told me to leave the server, said insulting words and other things to me. And so i wrote this here. I often saw that players blame other players for their builds and i thought it’s time to mention that.

Nice idea to make the turrets move I would like!

Guys I wanna tell you a story that happened to me:

Long time ago, I played a Mesmer but I gave up very fast and played other classes (nekro, engi, warrior) but since the last patch I started to play a Mesmer again. I was searching for a nice build and then I found a very interesting and beginner friendly build from Sensotix.

I upgraded my character as the build showed me and tried it first in normal PvP.
After some matches I tried a 1vs1 PvP Server (a very popular one) and fought some matches. (6 matches). Btw I lost 5 of them.
And next day (today) I went to there again and anyhow I won with the build. But then it started: Players (I do not tell you their names) blamed me for my build and my gameplay. Statements such as: “You are a noob player just spamming the phantasms and they do the rest”. “You’re build needs no skill and is skill cap 0.” (Some statements are in the attachements!)

So guys. What do you think about it? Is it correct to blame a noob mesmer player that just wanted to pvp? And what do you think about my build? Unfair build or not? Pls comments!

Today I wondered because i always look on Wednesday to the patch preview of Tuesday but this week i didn’t found one.

That means that next week isn’t an update planned?

And what will be expected in the next update? Does somebody know what it will be about? Pls answer!

Since the last patch, many things changed by the mesmer.

So I ask you: Does somebody have a good shatter AND confusion build for me? I play PvP.

Portal Gun

1: 3-shot chain that causes weakness on shot 1, vulnerability on shot 2, and slightly higher damage on shot 3.
2: Open a portal above your target’s head, which drops a piece of interdimensional debris on them.
3: Create a mini blackhole that sucks your target thru it and ejects them a short distance away and gives 3x confusion.
4: Fire a portal at the ground, portalling out a piece of the earth and causing any enemy inside the area to be damaged & knocked down. (blast finisher)
5: Create a portal at your location & target location and immediately port to it. 2-way portal remains open for 5 secs. (900 range)

Primarily a control kit, dealing some damage, but dishing out support conditions (vuln & weakness).

In this thread i wanna ask why are no mounts in guildwars2? I think that would be a nice thing. You would get faster from one place to an other?

And why is this game called “GuildWars” when there are no Guild vs Guild wars? Or do i understand there something wrong?

Im gonna make an Ingi and i am not used to it. I heard he did not get much buffed at last patch. Is that true?

And can someone pls give me a good Pvp-build? I wanna do much dmg and good survive ablilities like my nekro.

Im not the fan of flamethrower btw.

So please, if someone could give me a nice build + tipps it would be nice! Thx!

I don’t disagree with recent nerfs, but I’m upset that we haven’t had buffs in other areas.

There are some serious cons with mesmer that make me very frustrated.

-Condition removal is very weak, null field isn’t worth having in utility bar, neither is mantra condition removal. But I can deal with this.

-No blast finishers…. Yes yes I know torch is a blast finisher but it’s a horrible blast finisher, almost like a horse with 3 legs.

-Stability mantra/stability needs a buff! Long cast time, long cool down and only lasts 2 seconds for each mantra which makes it pretty useless for “pushing” into anything.

-Lowest damage output out of all classes, again I’m fine with this aslong as we have a “perk” somewhere else. Don’t bring up clones/phantasms because in WvW the only reliable phantasm/clone for decent damage is #4 greatsword.

-Staff nerfed chaos armor/very slow phantasm orbs/very slow auto attack making it basically useless in any fast paced fights in WvW.

-The ONLY reason mesmers are needed in WvW is for veil and the occasional port up into the keep because someone fell off the wall. That’s about it.

-No swiftness signet, forced to use focus and/or centaur runes on gear.

-No water fields making mesmer even more useless in group play.

-Worst AOE class in the game without speccing into full condition glamour builds.

That means ranger = boring, bad in pve, dungeons, wvw zergs and ranged bader than a warrior with riffle? Omg, why do people play ranger then

I like to be good in Pvp and Pve. Dungeons arent important for me.

I like to play a ranger, but i don’t know if it would be good.

Many people tell me, that ranger is under powerd, the pet dies in dungeons and the dmg is very low, bows are useless and Ranger is only good in meele.

Is that right?

If it is so, what’s about guardian? Is guardian better than ranger?

Pls help me! Its a hard choise!

Im new to GW2 and I’m looking for a nice class, between Ranger, Necro, Guard, Warrior, Mesmer.

I like to be:

• Good in range and in meele
• Nice skills (that means nice optic skills, skills which are nice to look at)
• Good in PvP (Good balanced)
• varied capable
• Maybe with pets
• A funny class, maybe with skills, which help in JPs
• PvE doesnt matter

So guys, which class should I play?

And What’s with Elementalist?

• The class should be ranged
• It shoule be good in PvP and WvW
• Nice Playstyle
• I like to support and deal dmg, no tanks!
