well in EB, where i mostly see him, we on GoM are running around in large zerg groups, FC too but they stack much better.

Whatd you use to get that toughness? Knights armor sets, or zerks with mixed items and certain orbs/runes.

Knight armor with Eagle runes ( runes arnt necessary, use ruby orbs if you wish)
Soldier dagger + knight focus/ Berserker staff
Berserker back,amulet,ring and acessory.
Knight ring and acessory.

All gear but the back is exotic.

I wouldnt call us OP, were just balanced now is all. Sure our damage is great but we still dont have the healing and mobility of alot of the other classes.

I planned for the worst with the arrow cart. sorry I overestimated you I guess. Play it safe over everything, our goal was to not die tonight and we did pretty well. Didn’t have our full group wipe once. ;D Farmed GOM for about 200 kills in durios. First when we came in behind them and stole their cap, and the few waves after that. xD

Ran into the semi organized FC group a few times, some deth and worm members. Was fun working around you and killing them pugs, xD too bad GOM ruined the fun.
Sorry to the Deth necro who just wanted his EB JP, when we saw both inner and outer down we couldn’t resist the 30 second keep steal. ;D

if youre wanting to do WvW, 1600 toughness minimum, itll suck if you dont atleast get some defensive stats behind ya.

This stat distribution works very well, enough offense to burst and enough defense to get out of a jam. 30/0/10/0/30.

Aoe immobilize with DS # 5 is awesome, seeming you can also channel DS #4 at the same time it can do some serious damage as a power build. Throw in some well action and say bye-bye to people standing in em.

every single build i have has 10 points into Death Magic just for improved marks to get the larger area effect.

Yup, the staff is such a great weapon for either condition or power build its almost a must in my opinion. Sad greater marks arnt baseline.

pretty sure those are not hacking, I main a thief I know all these can be done:
1. Dodge spam: 15 into Acrobatics, use withdraw as #6 and Vigorous Recovery trait, with help of food ( forget its name, doubles your endurance regen) and roll for initiative if you want more fun. You can dodge all the way through entire combat. If you evidently run out of endurance stealth yourself.
2. Stealth spam: with p/d or d/d , CnD (#6 skill) on the enemy , or enemy pets, or enemy clone, or wild animal, or stationary wall, or stationary enemy siege. Not good enough for ya? Here is the d/p build, smoke field #6, heartseeker #2, turn around and heartseeker over smoke again, rinse and repeat, woala, perma stealth.
3. Teleport spam, s/d build, just do 222222222, not enough, you can equip shadowstep in utility too.

Forgot to mention, DS Life blast and Dark path receive the same animation as Deathly Swarm ( throws a flaming dagger at the enemy, only when you have incinerator equiped before going to DS).

Someone was asking a few weeks ago about incinerator casting animations and was unable to find a video, heres a 1080p version if youre wondering what they look like. Good luck on your legendaries.

Nice turn out [HBGR] too bad we kept running into DR and FC zergs, was nice to see the new members, me included, too.

Karma! I love karma…. Actually did well against a few zergs, that FC 40-60 man zerg was crazy. Capped a bunch of camps, a few towers and nearly got bay twice, too bad we were WAY out numbered.

I guess GoM stayed home today, no one but us on FC and then when we switched to DR there was only 10 others.

Hehe, I was a part of that [FARM] guild. It was mostly a mixing pot of big guilds like [CoSA] and small ones like [OS] (which I’m on!) that got together for a server training event.

We tried to go to your Bay and got outer down with some sneaky trebs up the cliff in Vale, but then your zerg 3:1’d us ._.

we were the 20 man group of upscales and PvErs in SF and DR BL, wasnt in GoM >.>
