Thx, been looking for a longbow wvw build that uses Stronger Bowstrings. Most builds I see don’t use it and I like having 1200 range.

Just wondering if the build is up to date? I see revisions but not familiar with game update version.

Not sure if i missed something but what do you do about swiftness in WvW?
If you need swiftness to go fast to a position you can change one slot to spectral walk… but in action you can change it back. Doens’t make much sense waste a good attack with that.

Next time you have to trick the community into giving you the answer(s) you wanted.
For example:
If you told the community that all classes pretty much are even in WvW and it doesn’t really matter what class you pick, you would’ve gotten a bunch of replies on how certain class is useless and how such and such class rocks.

Dear Defektive: A while back my GW2 Warrior and I broke up. I thought in the beginning that my ex truly was what I wanted, but after the initial excitement of the new relationship (I had dated previous Warriors before in other worlds and been fairly happy before I had to move away) I realized that my ex was very needy and fairly apathetic. Sure my ex was good for a quickie, busting a load in a moment of frenzy, but there was no sustain or stamina. My ex was constantly getting sick and needing outside intervention to remain healthy. As I looked around at the other choices out there I realized that my ex performed every role in a fairly substandard fashion. Sure my ex would go through the motions, but the results were average at best aside from the aforementioned minute-man style quickies.
I moved on and found others that filled my needs better. Maybe not all of them at the same time, but a fair number of them performed to excellence. Still, I do miss my ex and wish it could have worked out between us.
Do you have any advice? Is there any hope for my ex? How can I stop feeling unsatisfied with my ex’s mediocrity compared to others and is there a chance that my ex will improve?

Most bots today hang out in Southsun Cove. Mostly Rangers underwater killing Barracudas and anything else in the water. Most people don’t see them as they run by the coast lines so they don’t get reported.

Anyone else having camera issues when tossing nades up on top of walls? Seems I have to angle my camera to the point that I can’t see what else is going on around me to be able to toss them correctly.
If you want loot bags, make sure you are grouped with others around you. The more in the group the greater chance you get bags and it requires less damage by you on the target to qualify for loot. Usually when you run around solo with people around you, you will need to out dmg everyone or come close to it to get a chance at loot.
Don’t think the OP is around anymore. Is the leveling build/guide still legit?
Negative comments are being said for a reason. Rangers fail at 80. You can find another class to do anything they do, better.
Leveling a ranger is misleading cause you have a pet to tank for you while you pewpew but once you do Dungeons, WvW or S/Tpvp, your pet dies before it can actually do anything which kills your overall dps.
In WvW you will need to go Power Build to have a chance at loot bags (Badges).
Condition Builds have a harder time getting loot due to dots not doing enough damage before your group kills the target. If you don’t care about badges then do whatever you like and have fun.
50% less AOE dmg means he dies in 3secs instead of 1.5 secs
I often join the zerg in WvW, then proceed to magnet pull
peoplevictims into its maw and keep them there while they are being chewed on. I used to like lobbing grenades on forts but nowadays it seems everyone have figured out the destructible walls bug (plus there was -that- nerf of course).It also helps that I have a guardian to fall back on when I get my kitten handed back to me one time too many.
Nerf doesn’t apply in WvW.
Go Power Build Necro for badges.
