Calling it now – The next nerf will be to that 95% damage reduction pets currently have when not directly targeted.
HAHAHAHA OMG yes FOR SUUUUURE.
“we find that 95% damage reduction was a good number for pets so we decided that you can’t have nice things, instead we changed it to 10% damage reduction and reduced all pet’s toughness to base 100, and it cost 1 gold to switch pets, and 5 ectos to name them”
Also I hope that I don’t get banned for submitting exploit. I’ve read so many posts on reddit for accounts being banned after submitting an exploit.
Just messaged Roy on Twitter and he confirmed the staff animation has been changed. See my Tweet.
this is AWESOME NEWS!!!
3rd stance? how about the monkey king (tonic) stance? its not like they need to reprogram it…
to all the people who like the stance of the druid using the staff I challenge you to try it out with a broom stick and see how natural it feels to you.
remember Right hand on top of the staff when holding, and the same right hand at the bottom of the staff when shooting… try it
here is a video i made of my BW3 druid just doing his staff 1 skill over and over.
I also saw the reddit post. It has nothing to do with LFG requirements. It’s the fact that the person pugged the whole set of 3 fractals + bonus (lvl 49 or 50 can’t remember) but got kicked right before the end boss. He then gets a whisper from someone: Thanks for keeping my spot warm" and then the next day “sorry we kicked you but our guildie needed the gear”.
that is 1 type of attitude I think should not be in this game. you can report them for LFG abuse, but like posters above have said, nothing really seems to be changing, and this since the start of the game (with dungeons)
the kick because you do not require the LFG requirements, totally acceptable. the kick right before the end boss because we want to keep the reward within our guild is not ok.
Am I the only one who likes the hammer hold and thinks that leaning limp-wristedly on your staff looks kind of doofy?
1. The problem is the transition from shooting to idle and then back to shooting (spamming staff #1) if you look at it carefully you see the back hand when idle remains the back hand when shooting… grab a broom stick and try it yourself see how smooth that feels. you need to slide your right hand from the top of the staff when idle and then slide it to the bottom of the staff when shooting… clunky if you ask me
2. holding it like the monkey king on the other hand… that would be EPIC!
Edit: i uploaded a video I took of the animation of my druid in BW3

1 and 6 Yes for the love of god!
the rest could be valuable, but not totally required. I won’t lose sleep over it
