Just not going to even attempt these quests then, 20$ for 6 quests is ridiculously overpriced imo. And gold conversion to that many gems would just take to long and could be spent on better things.
Are the living world season 2 quests supposed to cost money?
All of them except chapter 3 is locked for me and the rest require 200 gems to unlock.
Is there any other way to get these quests without having to pay for them?
I dont feel like wasting 20$ just for a couple quests that ill end up only doing once.
Every time i go to this map it is almost completely empty.
Events are never completed here.
The settlements are always taken over.
Almost everything requires a group.
Why does no one play here?
Is it cause anet couldnt deliver a proper challenge from the enemies on this map?
Are there no rewards worth pursuing here?
Is the pve community for guild wars extremely small?

Are rangers useful in dungeons at all? Last time i played they were not that great so if thats still the case ill just make a new character for pve solely
Can anyone tell me what necromancers are best used for in dungeons?
I’ve been using it to focus on removing conditions on the team but i’m not sure if this is what i should be using the necro for.

Just got kicked out of the game a few minutes ago. It started with 1 person in our group and about every minute the next person would get dc’d. Cant log back in either so i’m guessing the game is having some issues
The plague signet on the necromancer is bugged pretty bad at the moment.
It is supposed to pull conditions off of nearby allies (wiki says every 3 seconds).
The problem i found with it is that it will not pull conditions off of allies after you use its active ability. Also will not work all the time if you join a group.
For example:
I pull multiple conditions off allies and then activate the signet to send them to the boss. After the signet recharges it completely stops pulling conditions.
Or
I join someones group for a dungeon, the signet wont pull conditions.
This doesnt happen 100% of the time so i’m not sure what is causing it to not work but its been happening frequent enough to make the sigil seem worthless since its a hit or miss if it’ll work or not.
Thanks for the link explaining conditions on them, do you know how they are able to negate damage for so long from other attacks?

Elementalists: I found myself in a match with one who was taking damage but their hp bar never moved. Conditions could not be applied to him even though they were cast every few seconds (playing a scepter necro). The fight lasted about 45 seconds before i was killed, he still had 100% hp at the end of it with 0 conditions
Can anyone explain to me how they are able to do this?
Engineers: Every now and then i come across the turret engi’s and i find myself getting spammed with knockdowns by them non stop, does anyone know how many knockdown skills they can posses in 1 build?
Cheese builds: Last time i played the cheese builds were signet warriors, minion necro’s, turret engis, spirit hunters. Are these still some of the strongest builds in pvp or have they been balanced out? (last time i played was about a year ago?)
Spawn Camping: Does anet plan on ever implementing something to prevent this?
CC spam: Does anet ever plan on balancing it out or is this game to going to remain a cc spam fest in pvp?

Alright thanks for the responses everyone its good to know its still solo friendly, i’ll spend more time figuring out their mechanics in the future since that seems to be what my problem was with these recent ones.
I havnt played this game in a really long time. Last time i did play however i remember being able to solo some of champions on my archer.
Coming back i decided to start over on a new toon and i’ve run into a few champions so far. The difference i’ve noticed now though is they no longer seem solo friendly.
One of them idr the name (was with the kraits) kept spawning veteran enemies to protect itself and the most recent one is the toxic spider queen who does nothing but spam cocoon.
Both of these champions i have been unable to complete alone. I’m guessing the krait one is possible if your using a maxed character but ones such as the toxic spider queen seem impossible since it puts you in a cocoon at the start of the fight and re applies it once you break free from it.
So my question: Is this game not very solo friendly anymore?
Any replies to my question are appreciated.

I’m complaining about it in all pvp in general because of how broken it is. The fact that they can stay invisible 90% of the time takes out almost all skill from a fight. The fact that they can regenerate back to full hp almost everytime they go into stealth adds too much survivability. And the fact that some skills are bugged with their stealth such as entangle on rangers.
With the last “balance” update to all the classes I expected thiefs and their perma stealthing to be nulled down so that they arnt invisible 90% of the time. Perhaps when I read the patch notes I misinterpreted a lot of it but as for now are we going to see the stealth on them actually balanced at all? Or is this going to be one of the broken things in the game you plan on ignoring forever
I don’t understand why ppl would choose to not have rangers in their pt, to me they seem pretty viable. Add extra def/attack from spirits which in case most of u don’t realize have a buff range of 1,200. Search & Rescue to pick up downed players in case of emergencies. Heal spirit for bosses, healing spring to remove conditions and heal players. And then a nice selection of pet abilities that can be applied as well such as condition removal, healing, buffs, on top of all that extra healing abilities in non controllable pet skills. PLUS… xD…. the nice vulnerability debuff that can be constantly added to bosses/mobs from lb

I’m running a lvl 77 30/30/0/7/0 ranger build witth pure dps gear (power,precision,crit damage). An issue i’d like to point out is on the longbow skill 2 (rapid fire) against guardians and warriors. For some reason they are regenerating their hp instantly no matter how big the damage is from the skill. I understand that they have passive health regeneration but there is no possible way that 10x hits going from 600-2k is going to be regenerated instantly. So the question im trying to get answered is longbow skill 2 bugged on guardians and warriors or is their passive hp regeneration bugged against that skill?
I don’t think you are reading anything that I wrote, 3rd level has LITTLE TO DO WITH DODGING. I can dodge I do dodge but NO ONE in this game is going to be able to dodge every few seconds, and that literally means every few seconds. NOT minutes.
The fact is that the mobs on the 3rd floor all do either knockdowns, DoT’s, or cripples and the mobs are stacked very closely together resulting in a spam fest of all these negative effects. This in return means that there is NO possible way to avoid everything being thrown at you unless your running with a group. And for some glass builds that means 3rd level floor is impossible to be solo.
The whole “just gotta dodge” cant apply for 3rd level since you literally have to dodge something every few seconds or take the hit that will kill u if your vitality and toughness is not way up there or if you don’t have enough cleanse/escape skills to negate the constant DoT’s and knockdowns
Not sure if anet hates glass builds or if 3rd level is designed to be done with a group.
It’s been impossible to solo when I keep getting killed any time I get knocked down or feared. Its bad enough that there is way to many mobs up there but ALL of them are stacking some sort of debuff constantly, (DoT effects, fear, knockdowns, and cripple) I think this floor really needs to be looked at imho…
Wondering if the veteran mobs during this event are supposed to regain there hp at random moments, was doing one today and every time a new mob would spawn the veteran ones hp would go back to 100%. The description under their name didn’t say any hp regeneration so wondering if this is supposed to happen?

I have been getting lvl 80 exotic pvp gear from chests and when I use the “Deposit All Collectibles” feature in my inventory they disappear. Does anyone know if they are getting stored somewhere or is this a bug
