Lazarus the Dire was the only Mursaat to survive in Guild Wars 1, he vowed vengeance against “countless generations” of your hero and companions’ race that helped destroy the Mursaat. Fled to isle of Janthir which is now labeled on the map, so I would assume Mursaat are going to have a pretty big part in Guild Wars2 in a future expansion. Also if you have beat the last dungeon you will get a couple other easter eggs about the Mursaat.

i understood there were some other Mursaat to survive not only him.

i never played the first Guild Wars but i did alot of background and “reality” check on the storyline and everything befor playing Guild Wars 2.
and i am pretty sure the Mursaat will apear in this game too. But i tend to believe the Asura’s have some hints relating to the Mursaat’s i have yet to verify the “conspiricy craze” around that so i don’t know and asking about this really, i never saw anything involving the White Mantle within Guild Wars 2 except for knowing they have somthing to do with attacks on Queen Jannah but nothing else.

But the main question here is how do you think the Mursaat will be involved in the game? except for with the White Mantles.
and also the issue around relation to the Asura and Mursaat thing, if anyone has info on that?

when i saw Traeherne again on Claw Island my charecter was like: Traeherne! its been along time. and he aproach the Pale Tree as “mother” when he meets up with her after Claw Islands events.

its gonna make the game laggier if they do that.
plus the issue with monetering a voice spam, think you would be better off with third party application.

The staff is strange since it has partly good usefulness at close range, and then the rest is long-range support.

The Scepter is actually pretty good, but it fails in two severe ways. One, the orb can be easily avoided, and often enemies do without trying. Secondly, Smite does not pulse or hit more than 1-2 enemies at a time. It even misses enemies when you place it on them as the ‘fists’ are random.

If the scepter’s orb was faster moving and Smite pulsed, it would be much, much more viable.

i wish the smite would be turned into a Symbol it would be more useful
other and than that and making the orb faster i think nothing else about it should be fixed.
but making the smite a symbol would be fair

i thought of that but it works on reviving NPC
and the annoying part of it is that it actually has a prayorety to npc’s then real players.
i think it should rechange and also have either be fixed to revive a nearby ally and not one who is downed.

i found Sawyer – pretty sure the reference is to Tom Sawyer
and i found AppleJack – either someone in Anet is a brony or he\she really likes the beverage. i tried finding more hints with this NPC like who is miss T but nothing. (this npc is in the Gandarian fields)

A Sylvari drinking plant juice isn’t cannibalism any more than humans eating another animal is. It’s not consumption of the same species.
Unless the drink is fermented Sylvari blood or something… shudder

i wonder if predators actualy would try and eat a sylvari it really interest me as they are some sort of Vegtebles. (never thought of it if Sylvaris have blood of some sort heh)

No I don’t feel the same way, and what are you trying to accomplish with this thread? You have the option to wear racial armor.

it looks really suitable on all the other races but Sylvari look like i just can’t pooint it out. it just make them lose alot of the unique they have. and well the Heavy armor does look very plain

I have a Sylvari Guardian – no problem with the heavy armour on Sylvari at all. Why do you feel bad wearing it?

It just seem like it does not match the Sylvari the heavy armor in some level, and its only the racial or the Twilight arbor Heavy armor that actualy work.
and i don’t know, i guess its more an issue with how plain the heavy armor looks rather then the armor on a sylvari it self.

When you get in a crowdy place in the game you get bombed with text chat.
and that goes for sure for World Vs World.
Do you find Communication in any way with other players who arn’t your party members or guildies that you might go with to WvW important?
Is it a flaw?

Why some of you who go rather be quiet and follow “go with the stempede”?

i really have feel bad putting my Sylvari in heavy armor, it looks really out of place having a Sylvari with a none racial heavy armor.
lets leave out the fact that almost all the heavy armors in game lack some special outline like light and medium armor if they arn’t racial. But on a sylvari it looks out of place just i can’t put my finger on it.. but its not good.

anyone feel the same way?

its very different and i didn’t see any race like them they are very special.
plus the atittude they have and the innocent mentality the race gain as a young race is simply great.

i actualy use scepter in WvW and focus because of the ray of judgement as a secodary
and mace and shield as primary(i love the combo of both them it just feels better like that).
but sometimes i just feel that the projectile is very problem with auto attack with the scepter and the staff is not range at all infact its semi range. would be nice if they gave abit more range to the staff atleast and made a scepter abit more faster because lets compare Warrior ranged and Gaurdian Ranged who has better shots?

So there are a lot of references i found and some i missed within the game, but i really love how you stumble upon it. And well, it kind of something i can’t let go of – the many references that were implanted and i tend to believe in an almost fanatic way that any reference you find within the game is on purpose – memes, from books, quotes, movie you name it. I believe it’s not an accident ever.

What references did you find in the game?

i sometimes feel like the Gaurdian is really limited because of the weak range issue though i feel that the scepter has potential and the staff is great if your looking for that extra healing support role, his range is lacking alot of the outbursts he has with his melee weapons.

does it even worth using a scepter a focus and staff?
