I would love to see something like LotRO’s wardrobe system in GW2, so much more flexibility in armour/clothing would be possible.

I would love to see the female versions too! I actually spend quite a bit of time either looking for less revealing armour, or reskinning it.

I haven’t played GW1, part from a brief look around, but having watched Woodenpotatoe’s video, I would love to see this area in GW2.

Hobbies are a good time-sink, whether you are max level, or just want a change from questing.

I’d add decorating a house to that too. I’ve spent many happy hours decorating my houses in past games.

It’s been a long time since MxO, but I seem to recall couples dancing. Could be misremembering, but that game had a lot of shared emotes.

I’d just like to see some dances that I’d actually want to do!

Adding my vote here for more elegant feminine clothing!

Not only would I love to see more town clothing: skirts long and short; trousers; shoes/boots; gloves; hats; hand-held items like fans, wine/beer glasses, etc, I’d love to have a wardrobe vault to put them all in!

Why do people play Guild Wars and not pvp?

Because it’s a beautiful world and the PvE is fun.

I don’t pvp, I will freely admit that I’m simply not a good enough player to do so and I don’t enjoy grinding for items that pvp seems to require.

I will spend quite a bit of money for gems for fluff and it’s people like me who help to support Anet and GW2 with our credit cards.

So whilst many pvpers look down at those of us who do not like their game style, we are still supporting it by buying pet hippos and I do hope there is a kitten for sale today!

Back on topic, my dislike of pvp will possibly prevent me from completing the map, unless I can find pvpers who will carebear me around the wvw map.

I don’t think that’s really the point. Players who don’t want to participate in player vs player play must play in PvP in order to complete their map. I don’t think that this is particularly fair. MMO’s can be entirely about cooperative play, a play style that this particular game caters to very well – up until this point of map completion. It’s frustrating for a completionist to earn 95% of their map completion only to find that they have to subject themselves to WvW in order to earn their map achievement.

Players who only want to participate in PvP exclusively can PvP all day with minimal or no PvE exposure, more so now than ever with additional gear being available in exchange for Badges of Honor and WvW-specific Daily Quest options.

I personally enjoy WvW for the most part, but I empathize with my friends who don’t want to participate in PvP for any number of reasons but feel the need to in order to complete their maps. I feel even more sorry for them when they find that they can’t complete their maps because of relative server strength in PvP.

can i ask why people play a game called Guild Wars and don’t participate in pvp?

I use the mouse for movement and I also swing the camera around a lot. Many times, I’ve inadvertently pulled a mob and ended up overwhelmed and dead. It is now getting frustrating, most of all because I can’t rebind a key to solve the issue.

I’d like to add my support to the OP’s request.

I have never been a console gamer and have always used the mouse for movement and I’ve lost track of the times I’ve misclicked whilst tryng to move around.

I would love to see an option to disable right-click targeting.

This often seems a trivial request to many, but sitting in chairs makes a huge difference to RPers and non-RPers too.

I would love to see more emotes added too.

I have lead a community for nine years now. Guild features are invariably lacking in most games. Last login and guild activity percentages didn’t appear in SWG until a year before closure! So our website has always been an invaluable tool and heavily used.

Somehow, I expected this game to have better admin tools in game. It is disappointing to find that it possibly has worse guild admin tools than The Secret World! At least there the mail limit is larger and there is a cabal mail facility.

I support improvements to in game guild management tools.
