Now, I didn’t say I didn’t mind taking the aggro… a lot of times it helps my group since they all-out melee the mobs so that’s a GOOD thing.
The problem lies in the fact that I don’t have to do anything to aggro the mobs. All I do is enter the room. WTF?! Sometimes it’s not a good thing; especially if you have broken armor. It would be a-okay to have the mobs aggro onto you when you attack them w/ massive condition dmg, but as soon as I enter the room I get all the aggro??
I didn’t see the point of the stupid little thing? The ONLY reason it’s in my build is to get to the first optional trait: Greater Marks
Anet needs to change it to something completely different. It has absolutely no lasting value in PvE settings.
Oh, and this build (from your description) is tailored to sPvP, not strictly PvE.
Plz clarify as sPvP is a different world from PvE and require totally different traits.
BUILD- ok on to the good stuff-

Link doesn’t work.
I’m a bit happy w/ this update… especially since they did the update to Terror… I never used it, but now I will since it fits my build: Wellomancer
No, what I’m doing is being targeted down w/o even attacking.
Take TA for example. The first boss… the worm. Say I die and tp back. AS SOON AS I ENTER THE ROOM AGAIN the worms auto-aggro onto me REGARDLESS of me even attacking. Take note that this happened on multiple pug groups so either the dungeon was glitched or it had to do w/ me playing a specific type of necro… I was running conditions and wells.
Anyone else have any ideas on this? Thanks.
it’s not once every 30 seconds, staff 5 on 32s cd, doom on 20 sec cd, and reapers protection. again this would be for hot join or WvW
This link didn’t work for me. Nothing was shown on the skillbar.
Is it just me or does anyone else experience this problem?
Every time I do dungeons it seems like the monsters will easily switch targets onto me. Is it because I’m a necro or some glitch? Because I keep having the same problem. No matter what boss we’re fighting, the boss immediately targets me and I have to kite while my allies do the main attacking. Or is it because I have the lowest health?? What is it, I’m totally clueless as to why I always seem to direct the aggro.
Oh, and say I leave the area because I died… as soon as I come back into the room the aggro goes back to me, so wtf?
This is what I’m talking about:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Final_Rest
Wasn’t going to even try going for it until more info arrived until I saw this:
http://www.gw2db.com/items/68519-final-rest
Someone wrote in the comments:
“Ok its obtained from a large Chest in Orr but did someone get it yet?”
But is this true?
This is the #1 weapon skin I’m after and Arenanet isn’t doing anything about telling us anything about it… which means as of now it’s more rare than the legendaries… at least I know the items I need to get for a legendary, this one I don’t even have a clue about anything other than it’s SOMEWHERE.
Any info would be much appreciate
So today I was doing the math on how much I could make from crafting items and I had to, of course, add the fee it would take to list the item on the Trading Post.
(Which is kind of weird because the fee serves no real purpose as the money is cyber money and goes nowhere. It’s not like eBay or Paypal which profits from the small % listing fee.)
I was then taking real life into consideration in how I earn money over time and was thinking about long-term money-market accounts, savings accounts, etc.
I did the math on simply putting away 50 silver a day, using a casual gamer’s gameplay, and it came out to this:
50s (daily)
15 days (we’re stretching it to the minimum for those of us who have lives)
.5g * 15 = 7.5g/month
So, using my calculation if you’re a casual gamer like myself, putting away 50s every day you play will earn you over 7 gold a month.
If you were to do this for a year, by the end of the year you would profit the following:
7.5g * 12 = 90g/year
For us casual gamers, who have an eye out for the legendary and aren’t in any hurry, 90 gold in one year is pretty good… and that’s only if I were to put 50s a day for 15 days in a month. Needless to say I can always raise that.
And that got me to thinking… Arenanet could teach players how to manage money in real life!
I’m good w/ money in real life, but a lot of ppl aren’t… in fact over 80+% of Americans are in debt.
Fees are a normal day thing to us so when we see a fee in the trading post we simply take it as is… but the in-game money fee goes absolutely no where, so what’s up w/ that Arenanet?
Here’s a suggestion:
Reward the players who budget/manage money properly.
Even if you did a bare minimum 10% return investment rate for saving money in the bank, you would get the following by the end of the year using the figures above:
90g * 10% = 9g profit
As small as this is, it’s still an incentive for players to learn how to set money aside for bigger, better things in the future. It also plants a seed of wisdom that can subconsciously effect how the player (in the real world) handles their finances.
If anyone else agrees, please share this post and pass it on. Rewarding players who save money is great incentive to keep playing this game.
Thank you for your time.

First time I ever saw this great sword and was like… what’s this?
It’s more expensive than the legendary precursor and it’s only Exotic. Why?
Both League of Legends & Dota 2 have a commendation system in place where you give thumbs ups to players who either play well, are friendly, show excellent teamwork, etc.
I was wondering if it would be possible to implement this into GW2 in the near future?
I realize we already get more rewards for winning rather than losing, but being able to thumbs up other players who help you out during the heat of battle is such an excellent way to give your allies a pat on the back.
Most don’t know, but there’s a legendary light armor:
http://www.gw2db.com/items/armor?filter-item-rarity=7&filter-item-armor-weight-type=1
I’ve looked all over online and looked on the trading post and can’t find any details concerning a recipe or cost of materials. Currently I’m just around lvl 30 and this will be my goal as an end-game necro.
Any help or knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks.
So I bought an exquisite jewel to use on it, but it didn’t let me. What gives? Am I too low lvl or does it simply not allow you to use any jewels on it? Do I need to go to a specific place to have the jewel imbued into it or what?
Thank you for your response.
All this talk about being too low lvl makes me kind of laugh. I did the full burning book quest 20 lvls below the requirement. All I needed to do was make it to the areas…
Simply put, run to the teleport beacons nude so none of your armor cracks or breaks. Once you make it to the area, if it’s a spot that requires fighting, stay behind the crowd that’s doing the quest.
I simply said I needed help in the chat via map talk and I got a P.U.G. together and I got my burning book. Pretty simple stuff, imo.
Well, I do love the stats as it’s specifically bent towards Necro, but I’m still less than lvl 60 so I haven’t created any exotic yet. Shoulkittenep his armor and just transmute over them or craft different exotic armor and transmute over them, keeping the Mad King runes on them?
It’s not even worth it like in GW1. In GW1 it was actually fun. In this one the monsters attack you regardless. I just hang back and wait for the mobs to spawn and attack them instead of doing his games.
When all 6 pieces are combined you get the effect of:
“Summon ravens to attack nearby enemies when you activate an elite skill.”
QUESTION:
Will this effect ONLY work on the Mad King armor, or is it interchangeable w/ any armor that can carry 6 runes in combination?
Example: If I were to put 6 of those runes into another full set of armor, would it work or would it have to be specifically “Mad King armor”?
Thanks.
Here it is!
