Jumping Puzzle achivements? Ok.
PvP related achivements? Not ok. I’m against it with my both hands… and my left leg.

I am… but this doesn’t change the fact that games shouldn’t be subject to the laws of time and space. Again – MMO =/= real life. I play games because they remove the limitations of “real life”. Idea of “temporary content” is flawed.

But I’m not mad… It’s kinda funny
I will try to present my point of view in a few words…
This is the third time I am forced to PvP (Southsun – “Crab Toss”, Dragon Bash – “Dragon Ball”)… and I hate PvP – I get nervous playing it… and the game is supposed to be fun not frustrating. Am I right? Someone will definitely tell that “Sanctum Sprinter” is optional… but not for people who collect achivements like me. Furthermore – this achievement is not permanent which further deepens my frustration. I have completely no problem with permanent PvP achivements because I can hop in whenever I feel such need and take care of them. “Sanctum Sprinter” is 85% luck based (only slightly less luck based than “Crabtacular!” – it was the worst achivement in the history of Guild Wars 2…) and do not tell me it is not – Sanctum Sprint is full of bugs and random fails (“Lightning Pull” should be called “I fail 50% of time” or “You will fall to death”). Check out my screens – I ended up in mid air after “Lightning Pull” and was able to run around like this… I wonder what would happen if I looked down – I would fall? Like in cartoons?

Bad changes (for WvW and PvE):
Signet of Air: This skill is now a stun breaker. Cooldown increased to 30s.
Still useless as a combat skill. It’s not worth to have it at all.
Cleansing Fire: This skill is no longer a stun breaker. Decreased recharge to 40s.
Without stun break this skill is useless.
Glyph of Elemental Power: This skill is now a stun breaker.
Still useless as a combat skill.
Chain Lightning: Reduced the aftercast by .1 seconds.
Still useless – this needs a rework, not a tweak.
Tornado: Cooldown reduced to 150 seconds.
Still very situational skill.
Arcane Lightning: This trait now grants a non-stacking 10% bonus critical damage for 15 seconds after using an arcane utility skill.
Useless.
Tempest Defense: Internal cooldown reduced from 90 seconds to 60 seconds. Damage to stunned and knocked down enemies is increased by 20%.
Still useless.
New grandmaster trait – Fresh Air: Critical strikes will now recharge Air Attunement. This effect can only occur once every 5 seconds.
This is the stupidest thing I can imagine. Air Staff is still UP in PvE and very situational in WvW. They want us to run a high Crit D/D? D/D needs to be a bunker or he dies.
New grandmaster trait – Diamond Skin: 10% of your total toughness is converted into condition damage.
Useless.
Good changes:
Gust: This skill now passes through enemies striking multiple foes in a line.
Meteor Shower: Reduced the cast time from 4.2 seconds to 3.8 seconds.
Phoenix: Doubled the velocity. Added an unblockable skill fact.
Windborne Dagger: Movement speed in combat is increased by 15% for the main-hand, 10% for the off-hand, with 25% total for both.
They really want us to play D/D…
Stone Splinters: Moved to Adept. This trait now deals 5% bonus damage to bleeding opponents and increases outgoing bleeding duration by 20%.
The rest of these “changes” will not change anything.
Can we get an official response please? Will it be fixed or not?

A guild of sPvP players in WvW would be a freight train through the borderlands and steamroll everything in their path (PERIOD)

When we see an opportunity – we take it. We strike fast and hard. You need more scouts to prevent that. We have people constantly watching our keeps, towers and following zergs PLUS we know how to trick enemy scouts.
Stealth Sandwich nerf is required.
One ticket – crate #2 but guess what – I would gladly give it back. Scelerite weapons are ugly as… oh you know what.
Nope I’m not awesome. I had a hard time when we fought vs Drakkar Lake.
Actually – I’m disappointed in you. 1vs1 is not a challange in this match-up. People from RoF are much better than people from BT but still – you have the worst Thieves I’ve ever seen. The difference in “skill” of individual players is very evident.
There are still plenty of things to farm in game that don’t require you to exploit, abuse bugged events, or harm the play of others.

OK, this needs to be clarified. Anti stealth traps are NOT meant to be used to fight a thief that you’ve already engaged in combat. If you’re trying to use it that way then you deserve to be face down in the dirt. They’re meant to be tactically placed in order to minimize access to a certain area of stealth players. For example, if you know when the enemy breaks down your tower gate that they’re going to try to sneak a stealthed mesmer in there with a portal…
Waste of supplies and badges.
1. Anti Stealth Traps are USELESS. Period.
10 supplies and nearly 4 seconds cast? Really? Seriously guys? Thief will kill me before I open my Inventory…
2. Thieves can easily escape from EVERY fight. He starts a fight, loses, stealths, heals and resets (or escapes)… and so on. Two days ago I saw a Thief kiting 2 people AND killing a Dolyak in the same time… that’s insane…
3. There is no possible way to counter stealth. I am asking – WITH WHAT? With that useless traps?
4. The risk of roaming as a Thief is 0. Beautiful, round ZERO. He can run away whenever he wants.
I have leveled an Engineer especially for WvW (because my Ele was nerfed again, and no – I’m not talking about D/D but about my Mist Form) and I use dual Pistols + H S B U Elixirs and Supply Crate of course. Traits: 10/30/0/30/0. Armor: Power/Vit/Condi. I have a question – how am I supposed to fight versus someone who is invisible 75% of the time? Glue Shot immobilize and Supply Crate stuns are useful but still – they only let me to harass him – not kill…

I’m with you. This temporary change really isn’t doing much for me in wanting to hang out in Southsun after it is over. There needs to be some permanent change and a reason to go there in order for me to frequent the place.
